Park Inn by Radisson, Salt Lake City-Midvale

hot tub is broken. there was a police presence like a drug bust in the parking lot. they indicated it was for a nearby hotel. police advised us it’s a high crime area. lock everything up and don’t leave it visible it the vehicle will likely be broken into. the fridge compressor made horrible noise. was told nothing to be done, no maintenance, no manager over the weekend. I unplugged it. not brilliant as stays go

Very nice hotel, good wifi, clean, nice pool and hot tub. Very easy to park and get into hotel.

Well worth the price I spent. Convenient. Right off the freeway. Friendly staff. The 24 hour hot tub is awesome.

The pool was amazing!!!

I was disappointed that the pool and hot tub were not open to guest. Something should be noted on booking sites.

A certain front desk lady was incredibly rude to my husband. The room was not very clean. A very sketchy area as well. The pool was green, the hot tub didn't work.

Pool was dirty. Staff did not engage at all. Otherwise property was fine

Pool was cigarette butts and was being filled actively by the outdoor hose and was mossy and dirty, room had a weird smell, and there were no laundry services on site. Do not trust the pictures.

The floor was very dirty. My feet were black after walking on the floor barefoot. Very dusty. The bedding was clean and the bed was comfortable.

We didn’t like someone else’s toe jam in the sheets. The sheets were stained on both beds. Found an ant crawling in the floor. Someone upstairs was banging on the floor with something hard maybe a hammer. It also smelled of marijuana around the corner from our room. This was a great price but we couldn’t relax here or get comfortable.

My wife and I were totally grossed out by long black hairs inside and out of the pillow cases. Made us wonder what else dirty.

It was run down and not very clean in the room. In need of painting and general repairs. The beds were very uncomfortable. The bottom sheets had huge orange stain on the side of it. Yuck! On the positive side, the staff was nice.

Broken tub, dirty linens, overall not clean

Smudges on bathroom floor that looked like feces, window so dirty, you cant see out of it. Dark splatters on the bathroom wall. Glass water rings on desk indicating surface was not touched after last resident. It was late, we were tired. Didn't notice how disgusting the room was. If we had, we would not have stayed.

There was hair in the shower. The walls were visibly dirty along with the floor. There were numerous spots where it looked like there was water damage on the wall because the paint was bubbling up. Some of the drawers had the same effect.

We showed up to check in. We were put in a room that we had to go oitside to get to. When we got to the room you could smell paint and see the repair work going on right by oir assigned room. We asked for another room and were given one. The enamel was peeling up in the bathtup. There was no closet but a cupboard in the room to hang clothes. You could not see out the window because of the stains and dirt. We went back handed the person at the desk the keys and went to look for another hotel.

Overall fairly good value for the price, but the heater/cooling unit didn't have a thermostat so it could only be on or off. The temperature wasn't always comfortable so I would probably stay at a different hotel next time.

This hotel was chosen based on affordability and central valley location. It didn't need to be special, just a place for a good night's rest. But there's was no rest. The paper thin walls allowed you to hear everything in and around the hotel, the loud people in the pool, the people in the rooms around us, and a stampede upstairs above us that lasted until 4am. It was the worst night of attempting to sleep ever.

Over 10 minutes to get hot water in the shower

Faucet is the shower very hard to use and not have very hot water. Could be dangerous. Nice big room. Tv would shut off suddenly and come back on

Was a little noisy at times with neighbors. Bathroom sink was clogged. Told the front desk but never got it unclogged

The jets didn't work in the jetted tub other then that it was a good stay

Our room was right by the exterior door and it kept walking us up. Also the shower took a very long time to heat up and the water didn’t drain. Lastly, the plug in the bathtub was broken and setting in the tub.

I booked a room with a jetted tub and the jets did not work. The room was very clean and a great location just across the street from the trax line.

Poor water pressure and NO hot water made for a bad morning shower

My family has been traveling all across the country and Salt Lake City was one stop we were most excited for. But unfortunately, it was the lowest part of our trip because of the hotel experience. The woman who checked us in asked me how I was and I said “I’m great how are you” and she said “fine”. No smile, just a straight face. Then gave my partner dirty looks and glared at him until he walked up to the counter after using the bathroom. Then, refused to look at him throughout the check in process. It was very obvious we were not welcome there. As soon as we walked down the hall to our room, we were met with a horrible smell. The rooms were dirty, too. Water spilled on our floor and I grabbed a towel to clean it up and after one swipe, the white towel was brown. There was mold in the shower, hair in the sink when we got there, and bugs on the toilet seat. Every staff member I talked to in the evening was talking on their phone. It seemed very unprofessional to me. When we got downstairs to breakfast in the morning, there were very limited selections and the vending machine was broken.

We’ve stayed there twice before because of the location- right off the Interstate and lots of restaurants near by. This time the hotel was having Internet problem so keys to outside doors and room doors were intermittently working. The staff worked really hard to keep up with it and correct it. The other issue was a triple (albeit temporary) billing on my credit card for the two night stay. (Also a new daily hotel fee was added which began in March ; Hotels.com was obviously not aware of as my bill was more than they quoted). Again the Internet problem but the manager assured us all would be good once we checked out. They wouldn’t correct while I was at the front desk, which I wasn’t comfortable with it everything turned out fine and the stay was ok. The staff were very responsive to trying to get it all to work properly.

I got a discounted stay off expedia. I bought insurance on my stay because my flights were getting delayed left and right and wanted the possibility of canceling with a refund. as it turned out, i did need to cancel because my uber from the airport to the hotel was going to be $40 so i needed a closer hotel. The guy on the phone wouldn't let me cancel because I already got a deal on the room. So, I had to stay. When I got there, they informed me I had to pay an extra $50 for a security deposit and it would take 2-3 days to get it back. It's been a week and I still haven't gotten it. I called and asked about it and he changed it to now being 5-7 business days. I was in the middle of a sentence when he hung up on me. When I was checking out of the hotel, I also asked for a receipt of my security deposit and he said no. this whole situation seems extremely sketchy to me. I was only there for one night and it's turning into a stressful experience. The stay wasn't very nice either. Nothing good for breakfast and none of the tables were clean in the dining area. It was disgusting. I don't recommend staying here.

I advise against EVER staying at the Park Inn by Radisson in SLC Midvale!!!! My sister & I both booked 2 rooms for our family of 8 to stay 2 nights for a fun weekend getaway. We have a family member that lives in SLC, and he came back with us to the hotel to visit for a while longer. The front desk host called my sister's room & demanded she pay $10.00 for him to stay even though he was only there to visit for a bit. So she paid for him to get the guy off of our backs. 2nd night we got back late & headed to my sister's room. Same front desk host once again started YELLING at my sister saying they were going to charge me more because I supposedly hadn't paid for 4 people for my room. So I looked up my reservation and went to show this very ignorant host that I had indeed paid for 4 adults for 2 nights and had the confirmation number. As I walked to the front desk, I said I heard you want to charge me more and he started YELLING at me saying yes because you haven't paid for enough people. I said yes I most certainly have & showed him my reservation information. So he took a screen shot of the info & said he'd show (them) in the morning. They never did bother us after that. So if you like to be watched for your every move when entering the front doors, to being yelled at & threatened, than this is the place for you! Also heads up they charge a HEAFTY security deposit which was more than the 2 nights stay! Not to mention the rooms were filthy! Never staying here again!

Title: Unsafe Room, Hostile Staff – Avoid This Hotel This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. My room had a door that opened directly into a storage closet, which then connected to the outside hallway. While the hallway door was deadbolted, any hotel staff with a closet key could’ve walked straight into my room—and the interior door from the storage closet to my room had no lock whatsoever. Just a basic doorknob, no deadbolt, nothing. The hotel had lazily shoved a sofa in front of it, as if that would stop someone. It was completely unsecured. This setup is dangerous and unacceptable. Getting inside the building was just as bad. Only the front door works after hours, and you have to call the front desk—but the clerk was missing, and I waited over 10 minutes in the dark. All other entrances were locked and their keypads broken. Check-in was disrespectful and humiliating. The clerk actually accused me of presenting a fake ID and made no effort to apologize or deescalate. When I finally spoke to the manager, he was confrontational, rude, and combative—not only dismissing my safety concerns, but acting like he wanted to pick a fight. No apology. No accountability. Just hostility and arrogance. This place is unsafe, poorly run, and the management is a disgrace. Avoid this hotel at all costs. It does not deserve the Radisson name.

The front desk is absolutely horrible. They’re rude and not welcoming at all. I would recommend everyone to just stay away from this place unless what you want is a bad experience.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Close to freeway and so many good restaurants. Clean room and friendly staff.

This property is conveniently located across the street from a trax station. The breakfast was good but not always replenished when things ran out. The room was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Felt unsafe and a dirty property. So i just left and checked in a different hotel.

Very close to TRAX and anywhere in Midvale and Murray for needs ranging from shopping to laundry.

Property close to freeway. Hotel in high crime area. Homeless people in area. Breakfast was horrible. Hotel automatically charged my card for an extra $50 fee for "incidentals". I asked for what? I was told when they clean my room, if the room was ok i would get the fee reversed in a few days. I have had hotels take my card number but never had them automatically charge it. Would not recommend this place.

The facility is at the terminal of the bus route to Brighton and Solitude ski resorts, 5 minute walk. Tremendous value. Highly recommended.

Clean, quiet place for an overnight stay. It was walkable to and from the places we wanted to visit. The front desk staff was incredibly nice & friendly.

Wifi was terrible in our room and breakfast had limited options, no edible fruit.

The breakfast was pretty lame. We got McDonalds delivered. Older property but wasn’t bad, has been remodeled a little but can certainly use more improvements.

Only thing I would say could be better is the breakfast, and someone to restock the breakfast because people who come in later see all the juices and milks empty.other than that this place was great

Everything was ok for the price except the breakfast. No tea and very watery coffee. And only jam for the toast.

The walls seemed really thin. We could hear everything... including a smoke detector that was beeping somewhere down the hallway all night. The breakfast was very minimal. Would have loved some scrambled eggs or sausage

breakfast was pretty minimal...just cereal from a giant gum ball dispenser or make your own waffles. coffee was watered down and no tea.

We recently stayed at this hotel and it stated we were getting a king size bed but the bed was a queen. The pillows were horrible asked for more 3x before we were told they didn't have any. They didn't have much to offer for breakfast. The bath tub was peeling the bathroom fan didn't work. There was just a sheet over the window. Pool says it's open until 12 am but closes at 11.
