The pool and hot tub

Staff was friendly, room was clean, and indoor pool. Chemicals in pool need to be checked, water was cloudy. Front desk was very quick to replace my coffee pot in room. It wasn’t working properly. Thank you

All in all for the price we paid, it was expected. Cleanliness could have been a lot better. Main concern was all side entrances from the outside says 24 hour locked but they were never locked at any hour day or night. Safety issue for sure.

No hot water and jacuzzi was broken

Not bad but we got no house keeping we stayed for 4 nights Didn’t realize they didn’t have tubs I have 2 kids under 2 so that was complicated The pool had a lot of chorine and only 2 days out of 4 the hot tub was on The hotel wasn’t very secure the doors that your suppose to use keys to get it was broken so anyone can get in at anytime

Hotel is in a great location and has an indoor pool. Staff was amazing. The cons: the doors do not go all the way to the floor so you hear everything. Bathroom is very small, ceiling was stained and peeling. I found hair in the shower.

Great property they jus need to fix the lock on outside doors and clean the pool and hot tub

This was fine for one night. But no more than that. The rooms were clean but not in the best shape. There was a lot of noise. At the rear door there were a few men sitting against the wall drinking 40 oz beers. Not really a family vibe. The breakfast was poor. Overripe fruit and a variety of carbohydrates. Strong smell of chemical cleaner in the lobby and halls. Did not feel great leaving my car in the parking lot. I did not use the pool. I did see that the hot tub was functioning which is rare in hotels it seems. I don't recommend this location.

I checked in and they charged what was not from Hotels.com, I booked a room with a kitchenette that was not furnished with ANYTHING. Why charge people for a room that can’t be used with a kitchen. Jacuzzi was down for maintenance, pool was dirty. Breakfast looked like something given as a snack. I would not recommend this hotel.

Overall recommend. Area has mulltiple food places, easy accessed to hotel, and etc. Parking is behind the hotel which I enjoyed. Negatives would be locks on doors outside doors have been removed so anyone can enter, no cameras out in parking lot, and pool/work out center is at the end of the hotel.Otherwise high enjoyed my stay. Would stay again.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spacious, if you can get over how dirty it was. The toilet was not cleaned. We HAD to wear our Crocs in the shower. The floor was sticky. Parts of the furniture were falling off. Some of the lights and outlets didn't work. Stains on the comforter. Stains in the shower. It was just nasty. We removed the sheets and put our travel blankets over them to make do.

The room was dirty and smelly. And they declined a refund. Your site should not advertise this property. Everything was stained. Disgusting!

This place was gross. Dirty bed, dirty floors, when asked to have it cleaned, it was swept into another corner and a sheet thrown on top of mess. The hallways smelled like straight weed (funny for a smoke free hotel). The room smelled like rotten mildew. There was a random pillow on hallway floor that was covered in yellow wet stuff. The hotel outside side doors don't lock, anyone can get in. The fact that the room smelled so mildewy that it caused me to have an asthma attack after only 15 minutes being in the room. The management wouldn't talk to me directly, only on phone to a front desk clerk. Refused to refund my room, charged me for 1 night and only refunded me for the 2nd night because i flipped out. But still awaiting my refund... the health department should shut this place down.

Dirty Linen (Bed Sheets and Pillows)

This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

We didn’t even bother staying. This was a family vacation our niece and nephew checked in first with my brother and sister in law. There was food smashed in the floor, the furniture was broken, it looked like someone used the toilet, there was mold on the walls and the sheets had brown stains on them. You could also smell sewer gas coming from the shower. There were 17 of us and we all just left and stayed somewhere else. I understand old hotels but there is no excuse to be dirty.

First arrived found roaches notified front desk they did spray the next day. We had to ask daily for toilet paper our shampoo were never filled for entire stay and found nasty bloodly underwear in the bathroom under the sink. Breakfast was very limited no eggs or bacon or potatoes. Probably not going to stay there again when we visit virginia.

The hotel wasn't very clean. The floor in the elevator was dirty, and the sink and shower drain were dirty. The hotel management didn't seem to take care of the property. There were small cosmetic things that could have been easily fixed that wouldn't cost a lot of money. There were dings to the paint and furniture in my room. And part of the window shades were hanging down. About 1/3 of a washcloth was bare. The toaster and waffle maker were malfunctioning and there were very limited breakfast options. The beds were too high and hard. There weren't any towel racks in the rooms. I was also charged $9.80 more than what I agreed to pay when I booked on Expedia. I was told this was a "facility fee". Overall, I was disappointed with this property. I should have taken the previous negative reviews seriously. We won't be staying here again when we visit the area.

The room was gross. The shower curtain was grungy and dark from being so dirty. Dark gross smudges on wall like it hadn’t been being cleaned properly, leaving you wondering what else was not properly cleaned in room.

Booked a weekend stay, and ended up discovering bedbugs. Man at the front desk showed no concern or urgency for the situation.. very inconsiderate.

Towels had holes, ac kept going out, bathroom lock was broke, could hear other people through the walls

Room had a horrible stench. People running the halls until 4am. Queen beds agreed to were actually standard doubles. Wouldn’t go back

It was a college football homecoming weekend and the guest at the hotel were loud all in the hallway after 12am until daybreak.

The picture it shows of the room is not what they had. We could hardly turn around in the room. The beds and the breakfast left alot to be desired.

Getting back that late made us feel a little uncomfortable with the amount of people surrounding the outside of the building. Strict no smoking policy but the smell of weed was strong outside. Upon entering the building, it also had a somewhat old smell. The room we had only had one trash can and the light switch wasn’t working, plus it was a bit noisy. The pictures I saw on Expedia didn't look like the room I wanted. After going downstairs to return my room key and speaking with staff, I was shown a room on the 1st floor which was a little more like the pictures and a very quiet space. Staff also explained that instead of leaving, it would be best to just transfer rooms because they can’t guarantee a refund. Although I appreciated the gesture, and the room and space was much better than the original, I still decided to find a different hotel. My husband is a germaphobe and he didn’t like the vibe of the place. We also felt uncomfortable in the area, it was late night and we saw some weird things by the other doors around the back of the building. I appreciate the staff being accommodating and helpful, but I feel like we should’ve gotten a refund since we didn’t stay at all. If you’re a single traveler needing a place to crash for the night, I’d recommend though.

The beds were comfortable. The staff was nice . The chairs in the lobby and on the 2nd floor were very dirty and the door to the bathroom needs to be replaced . Very sloppy pain job in our room .

First room air conditioner did not work, they swapped our rooms quickly. Rooms are outdated and very dim. Minimal amount of amenities, ok room for a low budget.

The room had on outlet exposed, the shower vent looked like it had been ripped out n cobjobed back in. Where it went from one type of flooring to another by the sink had a big gap where the corners should have met up. 3 of the 5 nights we stayed(due to booking ahead and paying ahead), 3 if the nights we got back and had to go to the front desk for clean towels. The best thing about this stay was how pleasant and efficient the lady who took care of the breakfast was. The manager n the night clerk seemed bothered by the fact that we wanted clean towels daily.

Hotel Morning staff was friendly, I was double charged for the room so hard to get it corrected. Asked for house keeping and did not receive any.

Horrible. People sat out in ther cars and smoked. Hotel was outdated and the rooms were overpriced. A complete waste of money. The hotel was not clean, someone left french fries on the steps. A car parked next to me and they just threw that McDonalds food right beside my care in the parking lot. Also, the staff was very rude and unprofessional.

The staff was sooo nice. When we commented on it, we were told that they get treated like family, and it shows. The breakfast was plentiful, and staff asked if you needed anything else before removing the buffet even passed breakfast time. We were impressed. Will stay there again. Also, kiddiecorner across the street is the most amazing Japanese Restaurant SAKURA SUSHI & GRILL, with welcome drinks on the house, free little icecream for dessert, and free sushi gift to take home. Not expensive, huge portions, and very friendly owners and staff.

The one thing I did like was the friendliness and professionalism of the front desk staff, which is important. My check-in was great, and my decision to reduce my length of stay was not seen as an inconvenience. The young lady who checked me in changed the reservation and didn't charge me for what was technically a cancelled reservation. Not everyone looks for the same things in a hotel, so though it wasn't the one for me, I wouldn't say it isn't for everyone.

Newly renovated, actually surprised me and was more comfortable and in better condition than I expected honestly. Staff was friendly and made sure I had everything needed. Place was very quite and peaceful. No complaints for the value, nice place.

When we arrived, the person at the front desk told us the only room available had a broken door. The staff would have to let us in our room. The door would lock from the inside, but no key card would work. For some reason, the staff’s key card would work. We were going to take the room, until the same front desk person left us on the hall to check in the 7 people that had come in while he was speaking to us!! We left and cancelled the room!! It was completely inconsiderate. How is he gonna explain all the defects, then not let us I’m the room?!? We were just standing in the hall with our bags!!

I will never come back here to this hotel the staff stole my Apple Watch and charger. Still pinging there tho but nobody has it. All I get from front desk is that her worker did not do it.

I called to request a late check in and told its okay. I arrived and my room given to someone else and I was offered another with a non-working TV without sort of discount and told you can leave if you want to.

My stay at the sleep end was comfortable the check in was easy very affordable. The man at the front desk was very professional very nice and accomodating. Im big on smells and when I walked in it smelled wonderful clean and neat. My room smelled good and it was clean I heard a couple arguing in the middle of the night and I didnt like the parking other than that I would reccomend the sleep inn to anyone in the area or out of town or on business.

Convenient to the interstate and food establishments

The rooms had been updated, but there was nowhere to hang up a towel. The side entrance to the hotel had a scan device, but it did not work and the door was unlocked at all times and not in view of the front desk. There appeared to be homeless people hanging out around the hotel entrances and once a man was walking up and down the street in front of the hotel ranting like a madman and cussing up a storm. My husband had to take our granddaughter and lock himself in the car while waiting for me to come out. Our first night there, my husband was awoken by people being extremely loud around 12:30 am. It stopped shortly thereafter so he assumed someone else had called in the disturbance. The breakfast consisted of toast, bagels, sometimes Otis Spunkmeyer packaged blueberry muffins, and self-serve waffles. The coffee was horrible, but thankfully there are individual coffee makers in the rooms. We checked out the pool area and the pool water was cloudy. It was one of the reasons I chose the hotel so I was extremely disappointed. The workout room smelled awful. There was a hard-working lady working the front desk every morning and she was always cleaning the lobby and stairs to the second level. The staff was courteous and eager to help.

Doors do not lock from outside- it’s a free for all. Odd clientele in the parking lot this includes possible prostitution and drug deals. Friendly staff at front desk and clean main office area, rooms are another story. Got my keys and went to check room out, holes in bathroom wall, shower was filthy. The rooms look nothing like the photos. Dirty sheets, the whole second floor smelled like marijuana. Not a safe place to stay with children. Front desk refunded me. Went to another hotel down the road.

Like: Accomodation was good for the price. Dislike: No eggs, bacon or sausage for breakfast.

the room is too humid to stay. floor was too dirty and sticky. All the bed, lamps and chairs were rusty. it seemed like all these were taken from some used auction or good will store. Property owner have to do something about this on the Positive side, pool was good and this property offers good breakfast. Staff is responsive.

Dining was limited and Workout facility needs improvement and repairs. Rooms and hotel building and grounds need upgrades

Better than most hotels in the area. Breakfast was good. My kids & I enjoyed our stay. We will be back!
