Clean comfortable great parking. Couple next door let their children play outside the rooms till 1 am, so my dog barked at them till 1 am. Not hotel fault. Bad parenting fault. But would stay again for overnight with a pet. Great price.

An older hotel refurbished, so a good sized room with microwave, refrigerator, TV, numerous charging points. Quiet considering it is near I-81. Trees on the lot and an outside pool, closed for this visit. No breakfast but McDonalds across the road. Good value and a pleasant stay.

Nice hotel for the price point. Rooms tastefully renovated. I appreciated always being able to find parking right outside my room. The breakfast is basic but will do in a pinch. Staff really friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The only downside - I visited for a couple of days in July and one of the big reasons I selected this hotel over an other, was the advertised amenity of an outdoor swimming pool. Upon arrival, I was informed that the pool was closed. Not for the day - it was still tarped from the winter - indicating to me no intention in opening any time soon.

The beds were not at all comfortable and had continuous waking up in pain. Staff was curtious and wonderful. Area was great for food options. The elevator was out and had to walk up stairs to room.

The property is showing some wear and tear. Also, the property claims to be pet friendly, but we were charged $15/night for each of our Yorkshire terriers. They were crated for sleep and with us when we gone, if we had not said anything about them nobody would have known they were there.

The location to VT and right off 81 was good. 15 min from campus. Hotel is older, but it was clean and convenient. Our car was parked outside the room which was actually nice. Take and go breakfast was fine. We will stay here again without a doubt. Staff was really nice. Sheetz and Dunkin was in walking distance.

You get what you pay for. The stay was average. Not good, not bad. Of note, the floor was FILTHY. I showered, walked around the room barefoot doing hair and makeup and when I went to put shoes on the bottom of my feet were BLACK.

The tub, toilet, and sink had visible dirt and mirror had spit residue. Towels were missing and the ones my husband brought back stunk like smoke as did the room. The floors were dirty. Dusty lamps, stained chairs, scraped paint. Just rundown. Also online said started at $90. We had to pay $250! On the other hand, Bed linens looked and smelled clean. Food was stated to be continental breakfast and it was. Included hard boiled eggs and yogurt. Honestly would not ever stay here again.

We tried to cancel our reservation 24 hrs ahead, but was told we would lose our money because we prepaid thru Expedia. I contacted Expedia and they didn’t have our reservation. Floors in Econolodge are sticky and very dirty. If you wipe water off the floor the cloth is dirty. Would NOT recommend.

I realize this was a lower end hotel, but for $175 per night, it was very dirty. Used soap and hair in bathroom--disgusting! Beds hard and uncomfortable; covers on bed the thinnest ive ever experienced. Everything looked like ownership didnt care about winning repeat customers, including lose tiles in bathroom. I stayed a total of 9 hours between check in and out, and could not wait to leave.

The room was very outdated, the beds were hard as a rock and the covers were like sheets of paper. The breakfast was a joke, only good thing was the shower. Way too overpriced as well. I get it it's a Va Tech game, but absolutely ridiculous price for one night.

I made a reservation in advance. It was a football weekend so rates were jacked up. The "non-smoking" room I was given was obviously smoked in. It was awful. The desk clerk made me come back to the desk to give me another room, which meant re-packing everything back into the car. The second room smelled better, but it was upstairs - and that was ok - and it was quiet and nicer.

The staff is amazing, the rooms are always clean & comfortable, overall it's quiet and we feel safe leaving tools on the back of the truck with it parked in eye sight. The breakfast selection is slim, but that's at most places these days.

I felt safe being here by myself. It was clean and the bed was comfy. I slept well because it was quiet while I was there. I would have liked a hot breakfast, but all in all, I'd recommend.

I felt safe being here by myself. It was clean and the bed was comfy. I slept well because it was quiet while I was there. I would have liked a hot breakfast, but all in all, I'd recommend.

A dump. Cigarette burns in the comforter and carpet, stains on furniture and carpet, smokey smell, just a well worn room without any maintenance nor upkeep. Free breakfast offering was thin/weak, but the room was worse.

Very friendly staff at reception desk. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was just premade stuff, toast, cereal, yogurt, milk and juice. I would stay here again. It is very close to I81 so you do hear traffic noise from the highway.

It was super convenient off the highway. The only down side was breakfast was cornflakes, white bread, some packaged pastries, juice and coffee. No fruit or protein. Perfect staff and comfortable bed and pillows.

The first room we were assigned was used-the bed was unmade, there were towels on the floor. The second room seemed fine until we got into bed and found a roach under the pillow. I plan to sleep in my truck.

My non smoking room smelt horrible. I think they tried to convert a previously smoking room to a non -smoking room I, but the smell was already in the linens, curtains, and carpets. There were long black hairs on the shower walls. I have short light brown hair. The staff were extremely nice, but the accommodations where smelly and the bathrooms semi clean minus the inknown hairs. I did have a problem with the toilet not flushing properly.

Cleanish room. Just some minor things noticed like a washcloth hanging from the shower curtain from a previous customer but wasn’t bad for the type of motel. Weakest coffee I’ve ever had - essentially brown hot water. Had to go across the street to Sheetz for coffee but that was convenient for a late night snack.

Walked in and the cigarette smoke was so bad and stains on carpet and sheets we left and did not stay there nor did we get a refund for the cleanliness. Terrible I do not recommend.
