It is under major construction and is quite the mess. I wish that had been disclosed when I booked, I would not have chosen this property. I drove farther expecting a wonderful property and it was not. Bed was comfortable but very sterile. Staff was good but not the property. And they have a long way to go.

THIS HOTEL IS UNDER EXTREME CONSTRUCTION! Nothing told us before we checked in! When we checked in the lobby was dirty, noisy, plastic sheets blocked doors, pool was closed. Bar was open but was closing early. Our room was VERY small. We were a party of 3. Got one King bed and a sofa bed which wouldn't open until we called the front desk and she had to work to get it down. When it was down, it was so close to the wall and King Bed end that she had to scoot down to bottom of bed to get out of fold down sofa! There was not room for 3 persons with luggage etc. 0ur front door got stuck and front desk had to come back up to get it fixed. All in all, a horrible last night in Richmond! When I booked, I had read all about the hotel on the website and Expedia and NOTHING was mentioned about any renovations being done at this hotel! Thanks so much for refunding our money!
