Located on Virginia Beach boardwalk. Love the area. The room was small and not clean. The pool was milky the entire time and tiny. Balcony overlooking the ocean was nice. Breakfast was good and different options during the week.

The daily breakfast is fire, y'all. And free coffee allllll day. The staff is always friendly. Sometimes the guests get a little noisy, but it's a family friendly place. and you can't have vacation in a family friendly place without kids getting excited or having the occasional melt down. The hermit crabs we got kept me awake at night more! The indoor pool is so helpful when we get those torrential downpours that keep you from longer beach times. And of course the view of the ocean is wonderful!

We had a suite and it was 4/5. The common area had a pull out sofa bed which was a very dirty looking couch so of course I didn’t want to sleep in it so we got an air mattress. The only other downside would be the air. It has to be freezing on one side for the other side to feel comfortable. The indoor pool is super small. Parking was a little tight and hard to come by in the lot out front but aside from these things, I enjoyed my stay! Good breakfast and pretty clean. :)

Great location on the boardwalk and quick access to the beach. Excellent selection for breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Great ocean view from the balcony. Parking could be a little challenging since they have 3 separate lots, but we always had a parking spot.

Location, location, location. In the middle of everything. 2 additional off-site parking lots in case on site parking is full. All suites face the ocean. Small indoor pool for kiddies in case you want safer swim option than beach. Late-night security on duty (also must use card to enter building and side doors will lock late-night. Not many will notice this increased security after 11pm, but its one of those things that you appreciate unless you forget your card). One small con is their carpeting which is damp most of the time (even within the rooms). Otherwise, you can't ask for more...

the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are warm and cozy. The rooms are spotless. I always bring wipes and wipe down any room I stay at and when I wiped down the solid surfaces and handles, my wife was still clean. The bed is extra soft and I loved all the pillow options that are available.

Disappointed. Okay so at least we werent among the group whos room wasnt ready. Ours was ready at time of check-in. I was going to think early booking for that, but thay quickly faded, when we walked back outside to get our vehile and was greeted with cigarettes odor at the closet of the seat "smoke free hotel." Our parking was in the 3rd parking lot about 2 blocks away The room was okay, filthy really. Everything was suspicions, but the breakfast was good.

On the first night, I didn’t realize it. I honestly thought everything was going great on day too. I saw that the whole ceiling was filled with insects from mosquitoes to ladybugs bees. I didn’t notice it till the next day. It would be great if they can keep on top of this stuff. It was on the last day if not, I would’ve checked out right away.

Stayed at this hotel recently after staying here a couple of years ago, and I can really tell the difference since then! The renovations to this place has really elevated the look and feel of this hotel. The room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful. My only gripe is the parking lot. It is very small and very difficult to navigate around. I would recommend they renovate that next!

Do not stay at this hotel anywhere near the second floor because you will not have hot water. We had no hot water our entire stay. When we reported to the office, we had to call more than three times. They were rude to us before they finally sent a technician to tell us there was nothing they could do. They told us to leave the water running to see if it got hotter. After an hour and a half the water temperature had never changed. They said we could go to another room and ask somebody if we can use their shower, which is completely inappropriate. We were traveling with a young child and had no choice but to stay the night. We do not recommend nor will we stay with them again. We also had to connect the television to the cable cord because it was hanging out of the wall. I am not sure how this hotel has such high reviews when the customer service was lacking, and the quality was not there.

My recent hotel stay was disappointing due to unhelpful front desk staff who displayed a noticeable attitude. Despite my attempts to seek assistance, two of my requests were ignored, leaving me frustrated. Overall, the lack of customer service significantly affected my experience. The location was excellent. Perhaps some better training in customer service is needed.

Great hotel super clean great location good breakfast. Only problem was the staff at check in was unfriendly and didn’t tell us our room number wifi code breakfast time or inadequate parking at the hotel and offsite location. They called us late while we were in bed at night to move our car to an offsite location. We took up issue with the hotel but they were rude and told me it was my job to ask where to park if it was full. All other staff were pleasant but as they are the lobby staff that main people you encounter they need to step up their game with being helpful friendly and courteous. Good hotel otherwise

After a day out, I arrived back to the hotel around 11 pm. There were no parking spaces available in the lot. There were also a few cars in the lot that did not have guest tags. When I went to the desk to inquire, I was told I had to go about two blocks away to a lot to park my car and walk back. I am a woman, ‘of a certain age’ and was traveling solo. I expressed that I was not comfortable doing that. I also shared that there appeared to be non-guests taking up some spots. The man at the desk simply repeated that I should go park in the other lot and walk back. In regards to the alleged non-guests, he just said “I guess we’ll have to check that out”. When I again said that I was not comfortable walking alone down a dark street at that hour, he just told me again that I had to go to the other lot. Thankfully, a young lady behind the desk heard our conversation and volunteered to go to the lot and walk back with me. After a day out, I arrived back to the hotel around 11 pm. There were no parking spaces available in the lot. There were also a few cars in the lot that did not have guest tags. When I went to the desk to inquire, I was told I had to go about two blocks away to a lot to park my car and walk back. I am a woman, ‘of a certain age’ and was traveling solo. I expressed that I was not comfortable doing that. I also shared that there appeared to be non-guests taking up some spots. The man at the desk simply repeated that I should go park in the other lot and walk back. In regards to the alleged non-guests, he just said “I guess we’ll have to check that out”. When I again said that I was not comfortable walking alone down a dark street at that hour, he just told me again that I had to go to the other lot. Thankfully, a young lady behind the desk heard our conversation and volunteered to go to the lot and walk back with me. We checked in on Monday, greeted by Diana and her huge smile. Tuesday afternoon I got a bottle of water and a soda and went to the front desk to pay for it. Diana looked at me and asked if I wanted to put this on my room tab to pay when we checked out. She remembered our room number, WOW. Beautiful view of the beach from our balcony, we will stay at this place again.

We were in VA beach for my daughter’s. ‘Cheer for Charity’ competition at the convention center. Our experience was great, check-in was so smooth. They let us choose what floor we would like. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean & fully stocked. Housekeeping came and gave us extra towels and cleaned even more. The lobby offered fresh ground coffee at any time of the day/night. The breakfast was amazing. They were constantly making sure the floors were clean. The countertops were wiped. We will definitely be back!! The view of the beach from our room was absolutely breathtaking. My daughter enjoyed the indoor pool. And access to the beach was right out the back doors, just steps away! 10 out of 10 we will be back! Most perfect location. Also, the staff was very professional.

Went for a birthday celebration an last minute booked this hotel. Much to our suprise it was close to alot of places to eat an within walking distance. Loved how it was right on the beach. Nothing is like waking up to the sunrise on the beach!!!

We had a great stay! Staff was friendly and helpful! There were a few events going on while there and the road was going to close. Staff made sure we aware and wouldn't get stuck at the property. The hotel was a great location with a beautiful view.

Very nice location! Beautiful view of the sunrise right off the balcony. Location is about .25 miles from Neptunes statue. Very walkable. Downside, the area has a lot of younger youth and very loud vulger rap music playing outside until late in the night.

Great location on the boardwalk and quick access to the beach. Excellent selection for breakfast. Comfortable rooms. Great ocean view from the balcony. Parking could be a little challenging since they have 3 separate lots, but we always had a parking spot.

Location, location, location. In the middle of everything. 2 additional off-site parking lots in case on site parking is full. All suites face the ocean. Small indoor pool for kiddies in case you want safer swim option than beach. Late-night security on duty (also must use card to enter building and side doors will lock late-night. Check in was 4pm. We didn't get a room until 5pm & that was only because after waiting that hour, I went up and asked what was being comped considering we had just driven 12 hours with 3 kids. They finally got us in a room after that. The reason given to us for the delay was for "extra cleaning" however there was hair all over the shower & bathroom. When house keeping came halfway thru the trip, that still was not cleaned up and they left us with no toilet paper. The breakfast buffet was also not great. Didn't matter what time we got there, they were out of most things. But it's free so whatever. The location of the hotel is great, the beds were comfy. That's about all I can say about it.

My suggestion/recommendation would be to extend the breakfast Buffett hours. It was very crowded by 8:30am. During quiet hours, slamming of doors went on. Sounded like the staircase door. Which interrupted our sleep being that we had a corner room across from the staircase door.

Absolutely no drinks were available during breakfast on Sunday, Oct 11. That included any juice, coffee, milk or even water. When I inquired about where we could get water, the attendant walked away and didn’t even answer. They were also out of several food items including the hot entrees, yogurt and a few others. Although there are 3 parking lots, it’s tough when you’re handicapped and can’t get a spot close to the building especially when it’s raining and you have to park on the other side of Pacific Ave. Front desk clerk was the most unfriendly clerk I have encountered. She was engrossed in watching her computer screen every time I saw her. Walls were paper thin. Constantly heard our neighbors screaming at their kids. On the plus side, it’s a great location and a very clean facility, but I will never set foot in that building ever again.

We choose this hotel because we have stayed at other IHG hotels. The front desk staff are super helpful and friendly. They will help you in any way they can. Housekeeping was excellent. They are on it when you ask for anything. Breakfast was good. As usual they don’t season due to diet restrictions and the food was good with a little salt and pepper. Loved the pancakes. The juice, however, is extremely watered down so do yourself a favor and drink coffee, milk or tea or buy a juice at the snack shop at the desk. Beds were a little hard for my liking but the others with me were comfortable. Wonderful ocean view from the 5th floor. As for leaving off one star that was for the pool. It’s very small and awkwardly shaped. If you have more than 4 people in at a time you don’t have much room to move around and you definitely can not do any type of laps. Granted you’re at the ocean and a pool is not necessary but it’s hard to do laps or any kind of relaxing in the ocean.

I was too tired to say anything to the front desk staff so that is my fault. However, the next day, when the room was cleaned, again, they did not vacuum the carpet. also it appeared that the elevators were not vacuumed or cleaned pretty much ever. The front doors of the property make all kinds of noise and are very rickety when they open and close and so if you’re in the front area by the front desk it’s just constant. I’m surprised they have not fixed that.

This was a great room. Nice and clean and an awesome ocean front view. Only minor complaint I would have is that the indoor pool is small. Smaller than how the pics look on-line. Not a lot room for a lot of people. Other than that everything was great.
