Listed as Hotel and it is a Motel. No ice available. Room was dingy Bed were hard. Bathroom was poor. Broken tiles, exhaust fan disabled. Only 2 towel sets. When asked for more the only gave towels, washcloths not available.

This place needs some remodeling on the outside. My room was a non smoking room but smelled like cigarettes. The pool was clean but also needs some updating. The best part is the location.

The pictures shown on the booking page are false advertisement. The room looked nothing like the images shown online. I booked a non smoking room and received a smoking room. When I brought this up to the attention of the attendant she said nothing else was available. The exterior is very old and unclean. There’s even a section that looks like it was previously in a fire and no reparations have been made. Very disappointing

This hotel shouldn't be on your website 😱 Desk attendant - friendly; security fully armed with vest; 5 cars 5 rooms attended; front lobby had boxes along the walls; my non-smoking room smelled of old smoke and mold; cover to air conditioner missing and had brown stuff on vent; big hole where smoke alarm should be (is a camera up there!?); big blue tarp on roof from a fire; man walking grounds with no shirt and shorts hanging half off.

Staff was friendly & helpful, pool was clean, room was clean.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. The picture windows were dirty and the ice machine hasn’t worked in awhile according to staff. Some seedy characters hanging around the place.

Pool was disgrace needed cleaning. Table around pool needed cleaning told front desk nobody came and cleaned it Had to change room air conditioning was not working Was told if we came early they would have a room had to wait 5 hours for a room too many people smoking marijuana

The unique thing about this, property they still doing renovations, the renovating room are very nice, BUT WHEN I CHECK IN THEY GAVE A ROOM THAT WAS NOT RENOVATED YET, IT WAS BAD, THE SMELL, GOOD THING I DIDN'T HAVE TO THE AC, that was not a good thing, Expedia should give a refund on two nights i stayed in that room. That would be appreciated.

Upon arrival, we were assigned a room front desk attendant was very friendly and attentive. Entered our room. Bathroom was filthy. There was feces on the wall and a used toilet with feces remaining the room had a very strong smell of marijuana went back to the front desk asked for a different room, front desk, tenant obliged, kindly, and apologized Was assigned. A new room upon entering the room was very stagnant and smelled of cigarettes strongly in a non-smoking room dealing room still wasn’t very clean next morning asked front desk for some additional towels. We were told that they would drop them off. We went on our way for the day. Came back to find our refrigerator had gone down And no towels left behind. We lost all of our food in the refrigerator upon checkout. I brought it to the front desk, attention about the refrigerator not working and we had lost all the contents inside. The attendant did apologize and said we should’ve called and I informed her that we had a very busy weekend, and we did not return back to our room until 1:40 AM and I would address it in the morning. Overall not agreed experience.

Upon arrival the lobby stunk of mold, when I got to my room the door wouldn’t even shut or secure at all. There was a toilet seat in the corner of the room that had just been left there, bugs EVERYWHERE, all different kinds, the room stunk bad like cigarettes and mold, splatter marks everywhere bodily fluids, pubic hairs in bathroom and carpet not even connected to floor. Second room was just as bad, had to cancel and look for better accommodations. Absolutely disgusting

Do NOT stay here I should have read the reviews. We left at 6am cause it was so awful, dirty, smelled like smoke, unsanitary, I could go on and on.

Could not check in early as promised when making the reservation. Non smoking room reeked of cigarettes. Water pressure was barely there. Toilet and shower not very clean. Didn’t even want to be barefoot in the shower. NOT as advertised. Low grade motel rather than a decent hotel as shown in the pictures.

There was black mold in bathroom. Unsafe drug deals going on. My room was a nonsmoke and the room smelled of cigarettes.

Awful, dirty smelly room was beaten up rubbish in communal areas bins overflowing bin in room still had previous occupants rubbish in it lobby stunk didn’t even stay the night booked somewhere else I wouldn’t stay here if the owner paid me to

The restroom had blood on the walls

Terrible stay at this motel. The room smelled like someone had been chain-smoking, and the smoke detector was ripped off the wall. The blankets had cigarette holes everywhere, and they couldn't even replace them. The cleanliness was nonexistent, hair all over the bathroom floor. They didn't have any towels or washcloths to replace the dirty ones, and the soap they provided was as thin as paper. You'd need a ton of packs just to get a decent wash. Plus, the room refrigerators were filthy. Definitely do not recommend staying here.

Open door a roach fell on me room poop on bathroom wall and a bed of roaches behind bathroom door!! I took pictures and showed it ! I was moved to an up grated room and the sheet had a cigarette burn I took pictures!!!

From the pictures it looks like a decent property, however there was trash all over. The room was ok but the air conditioner wasn't working properly. One guest next door has a visitor at 12am that sat outside and played music loud and banged on the door repeatedly. I am understanding that this hotel is a place where low income people stay, which is fine but the hotel could keep the trash picked up.

For what I paid for one night, it was so not worth it. I definitely felt like it was a trap house. There wasn't any batteries in the smoke alarm, bed was hard. Holes in the walls, tv didn't even work, at least the pool was nice lol

No telephone in room. Items broken in room. Cigarette burn on bedspread. Dirty walkway. More of a motel with a hotel name. Will not return!

The bed was uncomfortable, so were the pillows. The room in itself was clean but the outside looked dirty. The staff was friendly overall and the japanese restaurant is good.

The outside look like that had a fire but still put us on that side the pillowcases were spotted bathroom was dirty dead roaches sink kept stopping up etc....I felt like I was the housekeeper 😏 after all of that I made it worth staying

The front desk Ladies here makes the stay amazing. They are extremely friendly, eager to assist, and assertive in a very professional way. I appreciate them very much for being so kind to me. They ALL deserve a raise, you want to keep Professionals like them around as long as possible!

How this place has a “good” rating is beyond me. The staff did not want to open the door because the lobby is closed after 10 pm… can’t help what time my train got in and I had a reservation. The staff lady was stern that she had to work. My bathroom looks disgusting. I don’t think the door has ever been washed. The tub and the walls are all falling apart. The bed is ok but the room has a smell to it. The AC units are leaking out on the front of the walk way. Also. This is a motel not a hotel. The rooms open to outside. Not a hallway.

Staff impossible to deal with...made a reservation for a family funeral and staff was un-compassionate when we requested a cancellation due to duplicate reservations being made for other family circumstances and needs.

Staff was friendly & helpful, pool was clean, room was clean.

Workers were very pleasant and friendly! Grounds and rooms are very well maintained and the ac will run ya out lol Also pops diner is right next to ya 10/10 recommend the food is great and the staff is very friendly ❤️

6/23/2024 - Reservation made on Expedia for 6/27/2024, to pay for stay at the front desk 6/23/2024 - Email from hotel about problem with card 6/23/2024 - Contacted hotel via Expedia, no reply 6/26/2024 - Called hotel about late check-in, asked if there are any issues with reservation, no issues 6/26/2024 - Contacted hotel via Expedia, no reply 6/27/2024, 21:00 hours - Called hotel about late check in, was advised all is well 6/28/2024, 01:30 - Arrived at the hotel, my reservation is not found, hotel is fully booked.After some research,I am advised that reservation was cancelled on 6/27/2024 around 17:00 hours for card declining charge. Since Capital One is using Virtual Card numbers, could not "reinstate" original reservation, as "virtual" number was different from actual number. After some further research, a room was offered at a higher rate despite hotel being "fully booked". The first room was not ready for a guest, as it was dirty from previous guest and was smoked in. Another room was offered, which was ready for a guest. At that point in time, I was happy that I did not have to spend a night in car, so I did not question room cancelation, room availability in fully booked venue - as a matter of fact, I am grateful to the front desk lady for helping out with a room.However, I probably will not go for this property in the future, in hopes to save myself some aggravation.Once you read this, you decide for youself - after all, the situation was salvaged by a good employee

Excellent service

I thought the lady at the front desk was having a bad day, so I was trying to cheer her up, but come the second day, when I got my key renewed, I realized this lady is absolutly rude, displayed no customer interaction skills, was going to deny me the room, then tried to charge me for a early check in where the online Hotels.com state early 2 hr check in is free, no fresh towels and the resturant is about 3 stars too, dated rooms, feels almost like a motel 6. Sorry for the bad review, I was dreading having to go back to the desk this morning. Horrible experince with her. she was nice to the family in front of the line though, so, hard to figure what that was all about. Good luck, I wont be back.

Once there was told there was an extra 50 dollar deposit that I would get back. Was there for one night arrived at 11:30pm an was checked out by 7:30 am. Due to paying deposit with card I was told it would take 5 days to be returned, as I was asked they preferred deposit be made in cash. Going on week two now an still no deposit return

The best part about my stay was the friendly staff. Other than that, the outside of the hotel looks run down and unsafe. The rooms were not the best as far as maintenance. There was an unpleasant smell outside my room my entire stay and there were panhandlers around the property. Very much unsafe. I strongly recommend new management and a complete facelift of the entire property. Safe to say I will not be staying here again next time I travel to Virginia.

The location of the property was overall close to the beach within 10-15 min drive walking distance from the outlet for shopping 🛍️ so that's a plus

ISSA TRAP HOUSE, THE WHOLE PLACE!! COMPLETE WITH DRUG ADDICTS, LADYS OF THE NIGHT (AND DAY), TRASH ALL OVER THE PLACE, AND CRAPPY ROOMS!!! TAKE YOUR FAMILY ELSEWHERE!!! We witnessed several arguments from random folks hanging around, seen a lady completely naked, someone's underwear were on the lobby floor when we checked in, someone ran up on my daughter and her Bf, witnessed someone vandalize a vehicle right in front of us. The whole place is a trap house and full of sketchy people who stare at you. We did not feel safe and I kept my forearm nearby. Don't come here. EVER

It was dirty, sketchy and scary. The property doesn’t look anything like the photos on website. Sketchy people walking on the property after 2am, talking so loud. I could not sleep all night worrying. We even shortened our stay. It was supposed be a non-smoking room, but it was terribly smelly with both cigarette and weed.

This property is close to everything!

There were beer cans everywhere, over flowing trash, and the bathtub had hairs in it and the sink was gross. Not to mention people hanging out in an unsafe manner... also the cars in the lot looked like someone broke into them. Really bad!

Non smoking room smelled like an ashtray. Bed sheets had burn holes in them. Floor was stained and full of dirt. Room only had one towel, and had to ask for the last three clean ones at the front desk. Place was surrounded homeless people and drug addicts. Definitely not a safe place for any young children.

Nice room. Pillows are very thin. No coffee in the rooms and none in the lobby but didnt ask either so there might be. One drawer was broken and completely missing the bottom but didnt need it anyway. Was a nice stay up until the last day and got woken up around 8am Sunday to power washing directly outside the room.
