Clean rooms, nice environment, very friendly staff, but...The housing is very loud. You can hear everything next door, down the hall, etc. There aren't many amenities in the room itself either. For the nightly price, I expected a much quieter sleep.

The Sun and Ski Inn was a nice stop along our travels of leaf peeking season. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We had an issue with our room and after alerting the front desk, Ethan took great care of us and relocated us to another room which was much better. There hot coffee and tea all day with pastries and cheese in the mornings with cookies in the evening. Games are available in the lobby with books to borrow and a bonfire in the evenings at the hotel. They have a heated pool and a gym also. There’s a restaurant, bowling and mini golf on the property for a fee. The location is good with grocery stores, casual dining, and coffee shops nearby. There is also a public trail directly across the street for those who like to run outdoors. Our initial room was large with a king bed with 2 night stands, 3 cushion couch, coffee table, small dinner table, chest of drawers, a nice stocked kitchenette, full sink, large mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave and toaster oven. The second room didn’t have a kitchenette but it did have a microwave, mini fridge, coffee maker, 2 double beds, small eating table, a shared nightstand, a nicer TV, built in cabinetry and a very nice patio with a table and chairs as well as a nice view of the leaf foliage. We stayed here 2 nights and was very happy with our stay.

My wife and I are doing a long road trip for our 20th Anniversary. We had plans to stay in Woodstock Vermont but the hotel lost our booking and gave our room away. They were sold out, and no other options were close by. Stowe was our next destination so we decided to head that way a day early. Luckily we found this hotel and they had a really nice room available! We got there fairly late after driving most of the day. Ethan checked us in and was one of the nicest people we have ever met! He gave us excellent recommendations for dinner! I like to do photography and was looking for some local places for astrophotography, and he gave me a map and directions to tons of spots to find great views! He really was the highlight of our time in Stowe! And the hotel was amazing as well. We will definitely stay here again next time we come back to Stowe!! And hope to see Ethan again! :)
