La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Olympia - Lacey

We needed a place to overnight and this was easy and clean. Better breakfast than many places with eggs, potatoes, and sausage links. And the indoor pool and hot tub were very. I’ve after a long drive and open until midnight!

There was poop in the pool that I had to clean out. The electricity went out for 3 hours that night and the room well almost 80 degrees since there was no ac. Had to open the window to cool it down and had to listen to the traffic all night.

Hot tub jets didn’t work, no other complaints

The breakfast was great, lots of options. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The walls are very thin, so I could hear everything our neighbour was saying. The hot tub was shut down, but the pool was still in operation, however it was pretty cold for an indoor pool.

The room was comfortable and clean. The hot tub was warm enough, but the jets didnt work. We would have liked coffee with breakfast but there seemed to be a problem with the staff refilling it.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The shower faucet backer (that shows where to turn for hot or cold water) was coming apart and flipped upside down, ths shower itself was unlevel and so my shampoo and conditioner kept falling off the ledge. The door paneling qas also falling off. Hot tub was lule warm. There was also a man outside the building who was high off his mind harassing people, so thatfelt a little unsafe. Nice location though, lots of trees.

Said the pool and hot tub were open, but when we arrived, it smelled terrible in the pool in the hot tub was green. We reported him and they just closed the pool. Using the pool and hot tub major factor for major factor for us in reserving here.

All staff we dealt with were friendly. Room was clean. Water pressure was excellent.

The toilet seat wasn't screwed on, probably a prank by previous tenants. This also made it clear that the toilet hadn't been cleaned or it would have been noticed. The urine around the base of the toilet was a hint to lack of cleaning as well. The shower was filthy, so gross we refused to used it. When I told the front desk, they said nothing. Only thing I can say food about this place is the coffee was food and the breakfast was ok. I have stayed at LaQuinta's all over the country and this was by far the worst.

It was very clean, quiet, and seemed well maintained. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was very good.

Bathroom tile grout was extremely dirty. Broken countertops stained bathtub. Furniture in room was stained.

VERY DIRTY

The room was not cleaned thoroughly as any other La Quinta I’ve stayed at. The bedding was dirty, upon request for housekeeping to replace sheets and blankets all that was done was the bed was made with the same dirty sheets and blanket. Was told that they probably didn’t change the bedding because stuff was on the bed (it was cleared off prior to us leaving that day) and it doesn’t add up to why the beds were made up if that was the case. Disappointed as we have always chosen La Quinta as a hotel when traveling, will not go again.

Clean and well kept

Horrible property do not stay here. Pulled in and someone was being arrested in front meanwhile crackheads in the forest next to the building tweeking. The room was filthy. Remote was sticky bedding was dirty and visible black mold on ceiling. I booked this hotel for the indoor pool so I decided to walk down and check for cleanliness before going down with my kids. It was also very dirty the back door to the pool was busted and more crack heads were behind the building. At this point after 20 minutes in the building I decided it was not safe for me to stay as a women traveling alone with three kids. So we packed up and I tried to get a refund. The staff refused to refund me. Expedia also tried to get me a refund but the manager has denied the refund. Do not stay here this building should be condemned.

Staff was friendly and room was clean. The main issue is noise. The rooms walls are thin and noise travels from adjacent rooms very easily. Highway noise can be an issue too. Bring ear plugs for a good nights rest. Beds were so so and pillows were not supportive. Bring your own pillow for a better nights sleep.

Bathroom needs updating. Flooring dirty and cracked tiles. We were in Room 327 and the noise from the road kept us up at night

Nothing in our room worked. Tv, heater, phone, toilet all broken and the shower was leaking.

Clean quiet comfortable room

Comfy bed. Clean room. Quiet.

Bed was ok; room definitely has been used a lot; bath tub clogged; traffic heard constantly; room service entered our room without notice and not appreciated so thank goodness we took valuables with us.

The mirror was falling out of the frame. You couldn’t take the hangers out of the closet. And our door didn’t close on its own most of the time. You had to put a lot of effort into shutting it.

The room was clean and comfortable, but I could hear everything from the room next door. And this hotel is "pet friendly" which means dogs barking constantly. Don't stay here if you're a light sleeper.

For the price, it was good enough. Right at a busy freeway interchange on a six lane road, so the noise is pretty intense. The staff were all very sweet and helpful. Other guests were fine. The rooms, like most hotels these days, could use some extra maintenance—things like wobbly toilets and loose tub fillers. If you are from out of the area, expect the damp, mildew smell that western Washington rooms get. Thankfully the windows open for air flow.

Quite an outdated hotel from the inside to outside, rooms need to be renovated, heck, renovate the entire hotel! It’s dated back to about 2010 in terms of overall looks, and it’s really starting to show. Bathrooms especially, starting to show cracks in areas of sink caulk, underneath is messy, dusty roof and vents, and rooms are dated as well, carpet needs cleaning, and entire hotel as stated before would benefit from a renovation. I wouldn’t recommend paying past $80 per night, keep this review in mind if booking!

The electricity went out from midnight to 3:30 Apparently this poweroutage was scheduled due to construction. La Quinta failed to inform their customers of this event. Luckily, i exited the elevator right before the electricity went off. I've always had good experiences with La Quinta but their lack of communication could've injured their customers

Was traveling back home to CA and stayed 1 night. Very quiet and clean, friendly staff, indoor pool and hot tub. My husband and daughter had a great time and we will definitely stay again. BRE is the best at the front desk in the afternoon.

Alex helped me check in and she did and inceediabke job. I had a bit of a situtation and she listened ans was able to solve my issue. She had to call GM and they resolved my matter. Thank you Alex for being so great at your job. I would recomend this soecific location to anyone staying in Lacey WA.

Checked myself in and checked my mother into the adjoining room. Then while we were gone they entered her room and put all her belongings into black trash bags and brought then down to the lobby. When we came back to our hotel rooms her room key didn\'t work so we went to the front desk to get another and they basically accused her of staying in the wrong room even though THEY PUT HER THERE. Said they called me to tell me they were emptying the room, but I had no missed calls or voicemails and then in the same breath they said that their system told them there wasn\'t anyone in the room and they thought "grifters" had left their stuff there (then how did they know who to call if the room was supposedly empty why know to call me???).Eventually after getting mad they "let" her come back to her original room only for her door to be broken our entire stay and never have a room key that worked, she went through my room. The front stuff was unhelpful, dismissive, disrespectful about it all, lied to us about the manager our entire stay so we were never able to talk to "him". Eventually told us if we wanted to place a complaint we had to do it through Expedia. To top it all off the toilet had poop marks and backed up, the jacuzzi was broken and the pool dirty our entire stay. Long story short we will never book La Quinta again, nor book through Expedia. Booking through Expedia made it a hassle to get our money back from the hotel, much easier to book directly. Immensely disappointing.

This hotel is older and a bit run down but clean. This room had cracked and loose tiles and the bathroom sink drained very slowly. Bre at the front desk and the maintenance crew were awesome. The other front desk staff was ok to downright rude.

The building was well maintained and very clean. The area around the hotel was full of eating and shopping options.

Outside areas were overgrown. Warning signs that said it was not safe. Not a good place to take a walk.

Even being close to the interstate, the buffer of trees keeps it very quiet

The location was amazing! In the middle of the woods. The staff was incredible! I would definitely book another stay here.

Convenient location near a freeway exit, close to St. Martins college and not far from Olympia.

When we arrived, the front doors were locked with a sign saying to call the front desk. Sadly no number was provided, so you had to start with the general Wyndham number and try to navigate to the property from there. The room we had was very nice and the bed was comfortable Breakfast was great and the staff were friendly. There is a large homeless encampment directly across the street which made going out in the evening to walk the dog very uncomfortable. Lots of unhoused people wandering around the area resulting in it being quite noisy and feeling unsafe at night..

Lots of dining options within a 5 minute drive and easy to find off the freeway, nice and quiet area, and only a 10 minute drive to downtown Olympia

A few homeless people were roaming the area and that didn’t make me feel comfortable. Other than that, the hotel itself was very good. The breakfast that was provided was excellent. Lots of variety and fresh. Coffee could have been better.

We spent one night in Olympia and the hotel was very pleasant and quiet. Enjoyed fluffy waffles for breakfast. Location is good.

We had a good experience at this hotel. Breakfast was good and hot. It was a full breakfast scrambled eggs, potatoes, 2 kinds of sausage, hot oatmeal and so much more. Thank you!

Very nice room and beds. My kiddo loved the waffles and I liked the scrambled eggs and potatoes.

Overall I have no complaints about being comfortable for my stay or the cleanliness. All of that was great my only complaint would have to be about the breakfast. The food was too salty the sausages were not real sausage they were the banquet frozen kind and the coffee was not fresh ready when they started serving the breakfast

The hotel is ok but not necessarily well kept. Do not anticipate that the breakfast will be palatable- not only is it undercooked- including the sausages, but there will be zero variation from day to day. Pool had zero towels, asked at desk, housekeeper brought three towels for five people and never returned with more. Room thermostat was broken, instead of fixing it or having me switch rooms (discovered this first time I went into room) front desk just told me to use window unit which did not really work well.

The breakfast was terrible. Soupy eggs, cold coffee, Sunday morning there wasn’t any creamer. The sausage was weird.

No So Good BUT....front desk staff were great at check.in snd check out, 1st room we got however was 2 queen beds instead of a king, we should have kept the 2 queens because the nightmare was about to begin, the king bed room temperature wasn't too warm, the shower drain had a piece broken off and sitting on the tub, not bad until I showered and it didn't drain, I rigged it to drain, 1 bar of soap, no body wash, no shampoo, 2 different kinds of conditioner though, we could live with all this as we had the last king bed room. We got the room about 130am after finally getting there after traveling, at about 430am it was 81⁰ in the room and the air conditioner was not working so we went to a 3rd room with 2 queen beds. Luckily we had a late checkout, they said it was no excuse but the manager and lead housekeeper were out for medical reasons and the maintenance guy just quit but they normally don't run like that. They apologized and offered a partial refund which has to be approved by the manager. Breakfast was a good hotel breakfast with waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage link, home fries etc. The coffee was horrible though.
