Ramada by Wyndham Olympia

A lot of construction going on, holes in ceilings, buckets in hallways, hot tub didn’t work, work out room was out of service. Should get some sort of discount if all of this is happening. I would not have booked here if I knew all of this.

Hotel shouldn't be open for stay. Elevators down, rooms are not complete, hotel services not available. A/C would not maintain temperature and the room was hot all night and our friends in another room had no issues. Overall would not recommend staying here until the property is revamped.

The hotel is under construction, the employees did everything they could to make sure I was happy with the room. Great breakfast every morning. The hot tub was nice and hot and the pool was nice and warm.

The 9 days we were there (6-15 Aug) the hotel was under renovation and none of the amenities were working except the indoor pool. The gym and hot tub weren't available and staff couldn't give us any plausable updates. The side doors to the hotel were unavailable, only the bottom floor ice machine worked, the vending machine was empty, only one elevator worked. I couldn't add my reward points to my stay due to a transition from Wyndham to Marriott. It would be understandable as all hotels go through renovations and that's a good thing, if we had been made aware when we made our reservation so we knew to expect the construction and inconvenience, but we didn't know, nothing was posted informing us. We used Hotels.com to book, but that shouldn't matter for information regarding the hotel status.

I've stayed at this property multiple times and was happy. This time, no. The building is under renovation and there is a stop work order for improper permitting posted at the entrance. What reputable business starts a construction project without proper permitting? The rooms are fine, but the microwaves have been removed. The elevators and stairs are filthy. The hot tub is closed. My main reason for choosing this property was for the hot tub. Only one person working at the front desk. The area has homeless people. I won't stay there again until I start seeing positive reviews.

It was a fine stay but the pool doesn’t work the hot tub doesn’t work and the elevator didn’t work and the ice machine on the third floor didn’t work. The tvs hardly worked but almost impossible to find any real channels. Whole second floor is under construction and parts of the ceilings were missing a long the third floor. No coffee machine or cups or blow dryer in the room. I booked this hotel specifically cause of their big pool so my nieces would be entertained and my grandma could chill in the room. They should communicate very clearly on their website and etc. that they are under construction and a lot of the amenities that are available are actually unavailable. I feel like I should’ve paid half the price for the stay at this hotel.

This facility is completely unsafe! The elevator was broken and kept moving without the doors closing and completely jerked and made a snapping noise last night. It sounded like a cable broke. I informed the front desk only to be told he doesn't have a key to turn it off but he would put up a sign. Then this morning my family was in the hot tub for over 2 hrs and there was no notices posted and maintenance was in there messing with stuff and never said a word to us. Then after almost 2 hrs all the sudden someone came in and said get out of hot tub it was closed because of high chlorine. Then put up a sign and roped off the area. All of my family ended up with chemical burns. I was supposed to have stayed for 3 nights but that was the last straw! I would highly discourage anyone from coming to this place! They obviously do not care about their patrons safety! I will never again come to any ramada ever again, nor will anyone in my family! This is completely unacceptable!!!

The hotel is being renovated, we did not have access to the gym or the pool and hot tub. This is one of the main reasons I enjoy staying at this hotel.

This is our go-to local hotel when we get a break from the parent life. It has a 24 hour pool and hot tub, good breakfast and reasonably priced. Right now they are in the middle of a remodel so a bit distracting at the moment. Hot tub was down because of the remodel so that was unfortunate.

Under construction. Elevator made lots of interesting noises. The toilet needed to be flushed over and over again to get the bowl emptied. Property needed tended to. Hot tub was murky

Bathroom had mold. Disappointed for such a nice hotel. Breakfast spectacular as always.

Picked this hotel on Hotels.com because it had a high rating (8.6?). Upon arrival, the clerk was very good and positive. However, once I entered the room, things did not look good. It's obvious that the hotel needs a complete facelift. Carpet is everywhere (halls and rooms), and it's old and discolored. I've attached several pics. There were several cosmetic issues in the room (rm 204). The TV stand's veneer was delaminating. The nightstand had a hole in the veneer that was unsightly. The Simplex faceplate on the wall by the door was unsecured and hanging loose. The bathroom door jamb had numerous scrapes and marks. Some of the wall paint had chips. The breakfast was mediocre. The eggs were the fake kind in a carton. Bacon was fine. The variety of food available was good however. Overall, it was a rather disappointing stay and I would not recommend this hotel to friends or family until after it is fully renovated.

It was ok. There was black mold in shower and the couch was peeling but other than that the stay was pretty good. Indoor pool and hot tub.. although the jets weren’t running. Loud screaming 13 yr olds splashing in pool but I was able to deal w it. Front desk was super friendly and helpful, and breakfast was good.

The room was dirty with broken appliances, the a/c - heater wall unit would've plug-in so there was no air flow. The breakfast was the worst I'd ever seen. "Bacon only!" Sour milk, no syrup for the waffles.

Entrance sign was blocked from view. Once entrance had limited access due to construction equipment. Bathroom had noted places where black mold was appearing around faucets, shower. Bathroom sink drain was clogged had poor drainage. Hot tub was warm water, not temperature expected.

The hotel was under construction, but without permits. There was a stop work notice on the door! Out shower had old soap and hair in it! So gross

There was construction going on during my stay so there was a lot of dust and construction materials everywhere. I understand that remodeling needs to be done, but what made it worse was the garbage cans outside the lobby were overflowing with garbage, and the ice machine on my floor was covered with dust and wasn't working. At least make an effort to keep the place clean!

Breakfast was nice with lots of choice however we were put in a room with construction dust on the furniture and adhesive on the toilet seat. We were moved the next day to a cleaner room but there wasn't hot water in the room. We were told that both boilers were not working. We also didn't feel safe in the elevator which was being used as a construction elevator. I heard it was a good hotel in the past so hopefully after renovation it will be better.

After settling in to the room I took off my shoes to relax for the evening and was extremely unhappy to instantly have my socks soaked by the carpet. It turned out the carpet was wet throughout the whole room! Why?!? I was too tired to pack up and request another room, so I put up with it, putting on my shoes every time I wished to walk across the room. The next morning I requested a fan be put in my room to help dry the carpet and then went out for the day. When I returned, nothing had been done. The carpet was a little drier, but still not enough to shed my shoes. I was most unhappy with this situation. It was frustrating and as a repeat customer I feel quite let down. Will I return to Ramada? I do not know.

The hot tub had strong chemicals in it, it burnt my swimsuit and skin. My chest hurt after. This was reported by another couple as well also in the hot tub. The night auditor explained that it was an ongoing problem. When I spoke to the day manager, he giggled (I assumed due to confrontation, not to be rude) and mentioned that the inspection was fine, but yet an ongoing problem. Hopefully they'll consider people's safety and take this matter seriously. Thankfully, I'm healthy, but this could have been a very dangerous situation for someone in poor health. Obviously the company the hotel is hiring as an outside contractor isn't doing their job, and the hotel is choosing to not hold them accountable. Room was fine except for a broken toilet handle and a glue like substance on the seat. Breakfast was good and had a lot of choices. I was impressed by the quality for a hotel. Parking lot needed a good sweep as it had trash everywhere. If you don't swim, good value.... they didn't seem to take my concern seriously which is disappointing.

Was very surprised that the hotel was in process of major renovation and construction. Some facilities were closed and you had to walk through construction areas to get to the room. It was very misleading to not let potential clients know about this. We have reservations about using your site and staying at a Ramada Wyndham hotel again. On the plus side the room was well furnished, new and comfortable.

The remodel room is spacious, comfortable bed, quiet, nice shower. It would be nice to have coffee maker in the room for making hot water and coffee.

Late July 2025. Remodel still being done Motel Owner is Renting Rooms that are not Fully Ready and NOT providing a warning or discount. Our Room was 'market rate' for area yet had No Microwave, Telephone, Coffee Pot, or even cups to drink water. Desk Staff tried to resolve but was under-staffed and over worked due to greed of owner. Call them before booking - - - ask "is remodel 100% done/"

The outside looks like a bomb went off there hasn't been a landscaper there in a very long time and there's construction debris all over. The entry is nice and the rooms are nice but some do not have coffee makers and some do not have refrigerators. The only operational elevator is stripped down for some sort of construction work. I would stay here after the renovations are complete but too much of a hassle for a guy in a wheelchair

Reserved a King and was told they had accidentally given that room away and so was given two queens “at no extra cost”. I wanted a King which is why I reserved it. First room had smoke alarm beeping, called front desk on a broken phone from 1990s.. busy signal every time. Had to go down to desk and got new room. Beds were hard. Shower was stained. The toilet wouldn’t stop flushing. The sink wouldn’t drain. They were also under construction which would have been good to know before. Just not what I was expecting.

There was so much construction going on that my room didn't have a microwave, the fan in the bathroom didn't work, there was a hole in the window screen, the TV had not yet been "set up" so I had to into the settings and re-set everything, there was a waste basket in the lobby capturing water from a leak from the floor above, there was very low water pressure and the water in the shower never did get hot, and the gym wasn't even open. There were probably other issues, but I've tried to put the trip out of memory. By the way, despite all the disarray from the remodel, I never saw a single person doing any actual construction work.

The staff was very good. The room was good. It was remodeled tastefully, clean, spacious. However, there were no glasses or cups in the room, nor were there hangers in the closet. There was a fridge, but no microwave.

Bed too hard for a side sleeper, like me. Pillows too hard also.

I really liked the price for the room. They are remodeling the building so some things looked bad but inside the building the rooms were new and clean and quiet. A good bargain.

Card machine broke . Put us in wrong room . Phones didn’t and then the elevator stopped working. Beds are very firm . Never apologize for any inconvenience. Oh and they had water leak in the lobby. I am sure all this will be fixed . It’s the idea no one offer to compensate or apologize especially the manager. It was almost like we where putting her out..

All staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

This property is not in an adequate condition for more than an overnight stay. Although our room was nicely appointed with new carpeting, new bedding, and new furnishings, it lacked a necessity that all U.S. motels and hotels have ~ hot water. Our bathroom and shower had no hot water for our entire stay. It was cold shaves and cold showers for me and my whole Family. We were not advised of this at check-in and none of the staff provided an update the following day. Our stay was for only two days and rates at nearby hotels/ motels were more than twice the rate we were paying. My Wife and I decided we would stay and endure it. At check-out, the front desk clerk took my name, room number, and phone number and told me that he had identified all of the guests impacted by this and was to speak with the general manager today. I purposely delayed posting this review to allow the GM time to contact me today (as I had requested). No contact at all. Very disappointing. The rest of the staff were very helpful and should be commended for the effort they made trying to make my Family and other guests welcomed. I should also mention that more than half of this building is under remodeling. HOWEVER, there is a STOP WORK NOTICE posted by Bellevue's Planning Dept at the front entrance. Not sure whether this is related to the mechanical issues that the property is experiencing. My recommendation would be to consider this property in about six months, when they have it put together

Our reservation was cancelled by the hotel. Didn’t know until we arrived. They made us wait for 2 hours while they figured it out. Then made us pay again for the stay. The hotel is under construction and extremely unsafe. Open ceilings with exposed wiring. Piles of carpet and construction materials everywhere and people kept getting stuck in the elevator. Absolutely unacceptable! Horrible experience that I paid for twice.

I am writing today to tell you about my recent stay at the Ramada Olympia. The hotel check-in was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. Firstly, I called the front desk on Thursday 2/1 in the afternoon and asked for an early check-in on Friday 2/2. I told her that I would be arriving around 1:30 or 2:00 and asked if we could check-in at that time. She said that that would not be a problem at all since it was only an hour early. We arrived at the hotel at 2:00 and asked to check in and the girl at the desk said it would be $25 per room for early check in. I told her that I called the day before and was told it would not be a problem. She apologized for the wrong information and said it would be $25 per room since she only had 2 rooms that were ready for check-in. She was not friendly or helpful. We left and came back at 7pm to check-in. The front desk was empty and the girl working came in from the front doors and said "hold on, I'll be right there". She was the most unprofessional front desk agent I have ever experienced. As she walked around to the front desk she starting complaining about what a terrible night she has had. She asked for my ID and started to check us in and the phone rang. She YELLED "OH MY GOD!!! WHAT DO YOU WANT?!?!", then answered the phone very rudely and answered their questions with an abrupt yes and no answers. Then she started back to our check-in complaining about the call she just had to deal with. the phone rang again a

The staff we met was outstanding. They got us a microwave within a few minutes. Very friendly. We left some paperwork in the room and they called us within three hours of our leaving. They were able to arrange for our family to pick it up next week. We were somewhat disappointed with the condition of the facility. On the morning of our arrival date, we got an email telling us the room we reserved was not available. Due to renovations, the main floor was closed. We ended up on the 4th floor. In fairness the room was very nice. It was missing a microwave, but the staff took care of that very quickly. Both ice machines on the 4th and 3rd floors were out of order. The 2nd floor was closed, so we had to come down to the 1st floor to get ice. Also, the men's room on the main floor was out of order, as well as one of the two elevators. In the suite, there are two televisions, but only one remote, so we had to pass it back in forth if we wished to watch different programs. When my wife showered, there was plenty of hot water. But we could not get hot water in the bathroom sink. The room has a table/desk with a bank of electrical/USB plugs on top. Unfortunately, the arrangement of the room did not allow the bank to be plugged in, rendering them useless. The staff we met did the best they could, but were limited by the physical problems at the facility.

The staff at this Ramada was excellent. The room we finally got was clean. However, the exterior of the hotel has been neglected for a long time, and the interior seems to be a work in progress. The first room we got had a broken toilet seat, so we got moved to a different room. The air conditioning in the second room was not working, so they moved us to a third room. The AC was also malfunctioning in that room, so they moved us back to the second room and tried to fix the AC. It didn't work. But they did get it working in the third room, and we moved back into that room. Like I said, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was clean and comfortable (once the AC was working). The wi dows were very dirty however (part of the exterior neglect). They are doing renovations in the hotel, it seems, but there were quite a few things "out of order ", like one of the elevators, the ice machine, bathroom by fitness room. Hopefully the renovations will continue and they will improve the landscaping and exterior of the hotel. But since the staff was great and our room was clean, we can't complain.

Always a please staying here. Shontall at the front desk is ALWAYS a blessing to see! Perfect person to have at the front desk! The younger gentleman at night, with longer curly hair, is a pleasure as well, and will always rush to get your needs met! The continental breakfast crew and public area cleaning crew always greet my family and I with a very friendly smile and hello. We choose to stay at this Ramada every chance we get! Can’t wait until all the remodel is complete. It was a little bit of a pain that during our last stay, the ice machine on the fourth floor did not work and there was no vending machine up there either.

The hotel and room seemed very clean, nice fresh smell. The location was very convenient and the simplicity of check in and check on were greatly appreciated.

Homeless people are around. One came out of the bushes at 2am when I went out front to get some fresh air

For a hotel located in an unsafe environment the hotel exceeded my expectations. It was cleaned, provided a lovely free breakfasts, and was very quiet.

Close to the freeway, restaurants and shopping centers. Beautiful parks around.

The property is in a good location. Plenty of restaurants near by, many in walking distance. Pretty central to a lot of good local attractions. The property was clean and well kept,the staff was friendly and helpful with any questions. The property is relatively quiet with the excetption of the token attention seeking motor heads that feel the need to show how little they care for their money by gunning the throttle on their motorcycles or poorly souped up cars. All in all our stay was enjoyable and we would stay here again.

Its location was off highway, extremely convenient

Olympia is a fun, quirky town and hotel is in a great location to get to everything. Nisqually Flats is beautiful park for hiking and picnicking just north of hotel.

Our room was very spacious and the bed was so comfortable, but the room was missing some amenities that seem standard in other hotels such as a microwave and coffee maker, and the fridge was very small. The breakfast was great! Lots of options and they had bacon! The pool area was ok but could definitely benefit from a renovation.

Best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had. The food was excellent, it was super clean. Overall, a great presentation. Please share with the food staff what a great job I think they are doing!

They were doing a large re-model so there were several areas with debris and issues, but placing that aside, very nice staff, the included breakfast was great, the room was newly finished.

I have stayed at this property many times in the past, but this time I was very disappointed, construction going on, half of the amenities were unavailable, I was only told about the hot tub, how do you have breakfast without coffee ? Several other things that wasn't informed of just very disappointed may find other options next time especially since there are many other options nearby
