Staff was helpful but very overwhelmed and stressed. They were accommodating to what we asked for, to their abilities. Rooms are very outdated but work fine for one night. Breakfast was as expected if you’ve ever stayed in a Days Inn before. Rooms were as clean as they could get them. Parking is great, as it gets later, it’s hard to find a spot (typical for most places though). The pool was small and very foggy. The kids (teens and younger) enjoyed it though. Probably won’t stay again when we come to Ocean shores because we’d want to be closer to the beach.

It's a cheap hotel, but what they offer should work. I had to pull up on door lock mechanism for the door to lock, the pool was cold, and my screen to the window was 3 rooms down.

Site and room in poor condition: Rust, doors didn’t close right, and scalding hot water. Trashes around facility full. Housekeeping and handyman were arguing with front desk about “not being paid and no contracts.” The pool had no towels for guests and two chairs for the whole swim area. Staff at the front desk did not arrive on time many days to open breakfast and swimming area. They were not nice to guests. Worse experience at a hotel in a long time.

The room was clean but could use paint and finishing. Patched holes but not painted in bathroom also tile cracking. I was not impressed with the pool and hot tub due to the hair balls and dirty table and chairs. The hot tub needed to be cleaned as well.

The front desk staff wanted $30 for early check in. When we said No we’d come back they said, how about $20. The shakedown was ridiculous. We said No again. The room seemed fine at 5pm but when it was time to get in bed the sheets were dirty with holes in them. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Needless to say, we passed on breakfast.

Room was dirty when checked in, hair all over bath room crumbs all over floor dirty coffee pot you could see old coffee dripped all over it. Fridge full of sand. Inside of the room it looked like the door had previously been kicked in.sketchy people around there and staff.109 had the door wide open for hours smelt like cigarettes and pot as you walked by and the guy im there was part of staff and sketch. The front desk guy that checked me im was nice. I do think that a 10.00 an hour early you check on fee is ridiculous especially because the room was already ready..it was a place to sleep. It definitely wouldn’t recommend.

It was so dirty and gross. We had to ask for a new room. The sheets were stained. The front desk did let us switch roooms but we shouldn’t have to. We felt dirty the whole time. Wouldn’t have stayed if we didn’t have to.

Not once were our towels changed out I had to go and ask for clean towels. Our coffee pot was broke and breakfast wasn't very good. Not once was our room cleaned not our beds made while we had a 3 day stay. First night desk staff was very helpful but after that not the next 2 days

Walls were paper thin. I could hear the complete conversations with the mother and her chi lol dren next door. Breakfast was very limited and everything we wanted had to be refilled or we had to wait for it to be ready.

I booked the reservation at a very good price, and got an ADA room, which I requested at check in.It was spacious. The staff was attentive and helpful. I ended up staying 3 nights instead of two. Two very minor observations: one night the internet was slow and an ice machine was only on second floor.

This was fine for a cheap motel. Could hear neighbors tv and the people above sounded like elephants. The sheets on our bed were awful, the fitted sheet would not stay on (and we were not doing any in bed activities). The sinky qas rusty. The keurig was a bit mildewy. The view out the window was sketch.

Holes in bathroom doors, beds were very uncomfortable, rooms could be cleaner, freezer was fully iced, front desk paper work was all messed up. It was very loud. The pool and hot tub wasnt very clean.

It was a standard motel room. The property was dated. We had a king bed in a room designed for 2 queens so there was plenty of space. Everything seemed to work. Basically, you got what you paid for.

Upon arrival around 6:30 PM on the 24th, we were assigned Room 105. We had originally requested a ground floor for ease of access. Upon entering room 105, we discovered that the room was already occupied with the individuals relaxing watching TV. This posed a serious safety risk to both parties. Fortunately, the occupants did not notice our entry, and we exited immediately to avoid escalation. We returned to the front desk to report the issue. The front desk stated they believed the room was to be vacant when they assigned it to us. The front desk staff then reassigned us to Room 216, but quickly changed their mind and gave us Room 204 instead. The following morning, we inquired again about the possibility of moving back to a ground-floor room due to the heavy equipment and merchandise we needed to transport daily for the event and no elevator to assist us. At that time, the front desk had no record of our check-in or our assignment to Room 204. This raised serious concerns about the integrity of the hotel’s room assignment system and the potential for another guest to mistakenly enter our room, replicating the earlier incident in reverse. The lack of accurate records and the confusion surrounding our room assignment was not only unprofessional but could have resulted in a repeat of the dangerous situation we experienced upon arrival.

The manager that checked us in had no clue what he was doing, it took 30 plus minutes to get checked in and I was the only one in the office, he asked at least 3 separate times how he could help me like I was a different person, he charged my card after I already paid for the room on Expedia and did not have an answer as to why he charged my card and apologized for my concerns. Fortunately the next morning at checkout the lady was very helpful, she was able to explain what had happened and reversed the charges. It was definitely one of the strangest experiences I have ever had checking into a room. The property and rooms are pretty run down, the rooms did not look anything like the pictures showed. I will avoid this place in the future.

Fortunately the next morning at checkout the lady was very helpful, she was able to explain what had happened and reversed the charges. It was definitely one of the strangest experiences I have ever had checking into a room. The property and rooms are pretty run down, the rooms did not look anything like the pictures showed. I will avoid this place in the future.

It wasn’t quiet, could hear people on each side of us and down below us. The staff came crashing through the door, trying to get in while we were sleeping, cause they didn’t know who was in our room. Now it looks like they’re trying to double charge me not too happy.

The front desk clerk was abrasive at check-in, but was much more pleasant other days. Over the four days we were there, he was the only staff member we saw, besides housekeeping. The room keys didn’t work or stopped working. The front desk clerk was annoyed that we came back multiple times. The beds have spring-type mattresses with large sagging areas where the springs are broken down. After two nights, my friend was exhausted from poor sleep so I offered to trade beds. Housekeeping said it would be an extra $10 to change the sheets. Breakfast times were not posted. Before 7am, there is a sign on the lobby door with a number to call if needed; it goes to a fax machine. The first morning, the carafe was full of coffee leftover from the day before and full of coffee grounds. We left without trying their breakfast. The second morning, we left before the lobby opened. At 7:15 the third morning, more than a dozen people were standing by the door waiting for the lobby to open. At 7:20, people started getting into their cars and leaving. At 7:25, the lobby opened. Once again, the carafe was full of cold coffee. Once brewed, the hot coffee was full of grounds. We left without breakfast again. We never did eat there, but as I recall there were waffles, bagels, cereal, yogurt, juice, milk and coffee. The first day, housekeeping changed the towels but did not make the beds. The second day, my friend was sleeping and declined service.

The lady that checked us in was super accommodating. We have a disabled daughter and was scheduled to be on the 2nd floor. Soon as she learned about our daughter she went right to work on trying to get us on the 1st floor, which was able to do. Thank you 🙏

We were NOT greeted at all when we came to check in. Another guest was disputing a charge on his bill when we walked in. The owner I believe was the one helping us. He never acknowledged us, made eye contacted, just says "name" as he is standing behind the other staff memeber. I then state "Oh your talking to me" we didnt even realize he was talking to us at first. He drops a paper & door keys on the counter and says fill this out. He never asked for ID. Handed them back the paper and he never said anything to us. It was the strangest thing. We got to our room on the second floor No elevators by the way, which good thing we didnt need one. The door knob on our door was broken, it would stay in the down position. As soon as we opened the door the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke engulfed us. I called down right away and made sure they knew this since I had to sign a form at check in about a $350 charge if room was found smelling of cigarette smoke. Our window lock was broken and hanging, walls were disgustingly dirty and we felt like we would get bedbugs staying here. So we left to see if we could find another hotel to check into. We got lucky and were able to check into another hotel. We were willing to sleep in our car rather than stay in this hotel. We did NOT feel safe at all here. When we went to let them know we were checking out, they were on the attack. Would not refund our stay even though we checked out less then 1.5 hrs after checkin. NOTHING LIKE PICTURES

Have stayed here before. It is a great location. Easy to find easy parking walkable area. Nice to have the windows open and hear the ocean. Bed was comfortable appreciated the breakfast choices. We'll stay here again. Check in with easy friendly staff

Walls were paper thin. I could hear the complete conversations with the mother and her chi lol dren next door. Breakfast was very limited and everything we wanted had to be refilled or we had to wait for it to be ready.

Served its purpose. Hotel was a bed and a shower. Had a pool, but didn't use. Breakfast was minimal compared to every other Days Inn I've ever stayed at. Was on a road trip, so wasn't looking for all the bells and whistles. Just wish breakfast was up to par.

Great value but you get what you pay for. The guy who checked us in was very kind. The room was what you’d expect, but there were a couple of small issues. The shower curtain was broken so when we showered water got all over the bathroom. The sink was dirty and the room Didn’t have a pleasant smell. The complimentary breakfast was not very good. Typical waffle maker , cereal that kids didn’t like, milk in the fridge wasn’t cold. The girl at the front desk acted like she didn’t want to be there. Very short answers and very rude to my child and I. Like I said, you get what you pay for and we got a good deal with it being pet friendly. If you’re looking for a cheap stay and don’t care about their rude employee and some cleanliness issues, then it’s perfect. We love ocean shores so we’ll look elsewhere next time and not cheap out on our hotel.

I booked a two double bed room. I specifically put notes in there that I prefer first floor. I cannot do the stairs. When I got to the property to check in, I was informed that they had me on the second floor and then I was also informed that the only rooms on the first floor, where a king bed with a pullout couch. I was traveling with my daughter and wanted two different beds. I accepted the first floor king with pullout couch asked if there was bedding in the room for it. Gentleman at the counter said no I will bring it to you soon as I go fix a TV in another room. When we got into the room, there was no queen pullout couch. There was a futon. We waited almost an hour, and no one showed up with bedding. The next morning I talked to the lady that was on staff at the desk and she didn’t seem to care at all. Definitely will NOT be staying there again.

Showed up and we were almost given an occupied room by the lady’s son??… then were given a room with king bed and a pull out couch instead of two beds. Pull out mattress was stained and gross. Didn’t have a fitted sheet so she gave us a flat sheet to cover it. Thankfully we only were there till morning… king bed only had a sheet covering it. Had to ask for a blanket but ended up using that for the kids. Thankfully we brought a couple couch blankets. At checkout next morning another customer was getting frustrated with the boss lady because he was given a single bed room when he ordered a DOUBLE bed room because he and a motorcycle buddy were rooming together. He also mentioned another person (customer) was given a key to their room and they walked in unannounced assuming it was empty. He wasn’t happy. Breakfast was sparse, not much to choose from and it isn’t always the freshest. Bagels a little stale, muffin in single packaging was already soggy n molding. My kids were able to eat an apple and that was about it. Owner had nothing but problems with the waffle maker…. Wasn’t being very sanitary when refilling it either. Most people that morning (6/9/26) looked annoyed and walked out frustrated. Did sound like lots of people were utilizing the pool though! WOULD NOT RECCOMEND STAYING HERE MORE THAN A NIGHT, IF THAT!
