Red Lion Hotel Pasco Airport & Conference Center

I honestly wish I had read more reviews before staying at this hotel because this was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had traveling. From the moment we walked in, the entire place felt dirty and poorly maintained. The lobby had a strange odor that only got worse as we got closer to our room. The hallways smelled musty, like old mildew mixed with garbage, and it immediately made the place feel uncomfortable and unhygienic. When we opened the room door, the smell hit us instantly. The room smelled like dirty carpets, stale smoke, and something sour. It was obvious the room had not been properly cleaned. The floors felt sticky, there was dust everywhere, and we even noticed stains on the bedding and furniture. The bathroom was disgusting — hair in the shower, grime around the sink, and what looked like mold near the corners of the tub. Towels looked worn out and didn’t even smell fresh. We were shocked that management thought this room was acceptable for guests. The restaurant experience made everything even worse. We decided to eat there because we were tired from traveling and didn’t want to leave the hotel. Big mistake. The food looked questionable when it came out, but we tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Within hours of eating, both of us became extremely sick with stomach pain, nausea, and other symptoms consistent with food poisoning. It completely ruined our trip. We spent the rest of the night miserable and unable to enjoy anything.

Quick check-in and spacious room. Few maintenance items reported like bathroom fan and plugged second sink reported at check out. Arrived too late for restaurant and bar, but decent breakfast options.

Breakfast was great. All of the staff was welcoming and friendly.

Nice distance from the airport offering shuttle service. Front desk and shuttle staff were great. Location was quiet!

The breakfast was fine. The Pool and Hot tub was unavailable for 2/3 days I was there. It was in the 80’s so that was not good.
