We were treating ourselves to a well-deserved vacation. We decided to stay downtown, but not “directly” downtown. This was our choice, and it was amazing. It was within walking distance to everything we wanted to see and do. We had so many choices for dining and shopping. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet for its location. Our room didn’t have much of a view, but we weren’t there for the view anyway! The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. The room layout felt more spacious than it actually was. The only downside was that our room did not have a microwave. When we asked the front desk if there was anywhere to heat up some food, they let us utilize the microwave in the breakfast room. The hotel staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We asked numerous staff for recommendations about dining and shopping. They did not disappoint. The breakfast was delicious. The breakfast hours were great. We didn’t need to get up super early to eat. The variety was good. Everything found something they wanted to eat. We would definitely stay here again in the future. It’s not somewhere we would be able to afford to stay every time we travel, but this splurge was well worth the price.
