The property itself is lovely. Staff were kind and helpful. The parking is a bit of a pain - across the street in a garage. You can opt for valet for an extra fee or just hoof it.

Hotel room was spacious and very nice. Coffee in the room was appreciated since we needed to wake up at 2 a.m. to catch an early flight! I didn't realize we were going to have to pay for parking at the convention center across the street. That should have been more clear in the description. Maybe it was and I didn't see it.

Rooms are only cleaned every other day. Doors clank when closed. Alarm was set for the middle of the night and hard to turn off. Pepsi machine made loud clanking at 5 AM for the parking garage area. There was an extra - hidden charge for parking. Distance from parking garage is difficult and far in the dark. People get ticketed if they park somewhere other than A lot - and sometimes the A lot is full if there are activities going on in the convention center. They didn't tell us about the fine when we first got there.

4.5 if i could. Safish nicish area of Taoma. Lots of bars & family friendly activities nearby. Beautiful building and rooms. Very friendly staff. Very cool breakfest area except breakfest is not free. They do make starbucks tho! Parking is either 20 bucks for self at convention center across street or 30 for valet. Valet is worth it. If breakfest bar was free, id give a 5 but the restaurant is cool i suppose. It is a gorgeous hotel.

Convenient location close to downtown Tacoma. Room was very clean, quiet. The bathroom had shampoo in a dispenser which was nice to reduce waste, but there was no conditioner dispenser (just an empty bracket). This may have just been an oversight but I realized too late at night to want to go bother the staff. Food in the bistro was overpriced for the quality. Didn’t have a chance to use any of the amenities as I was only there for one night. Valet parking was affordable and quick - definitely recommend making use of this.

The stay was great. My room was well spaced and very nice. Unfortunately, the person in the room before me had a pet and the carpet was not vacuumed well. There was pet hair all over the floor at the foot and side of the bed. Also, a remnant of, what appears to be a sausage link, was found on the floor on the side of the desk when I was cleaning up the mess I made from balloons.

Convenient location for convention center event but I would not stay there again. The freeway noise was far too loud. Tacoma must be a city of drag racers and people who took their truck mufflers off. Even with white noise and earplugs I could hear it all night. Also I would not get the rate with breakfast vouchers. The hotel was unprepared to serve the guests coming for a tournament. It took an hour to get a bagel and an oatmeal. The bistro staff were doing their best to serve the demands, I can only think this is a management mistake not scheduling enough staff for a large event that the hotel was the group rate hotel for. We will make different arrangements next time

I stayed here because we had a concert for our daughters and. We arrived at 2:50 they told us they were an hour behind on getting people checked in. After an hour I went to ask if any change nothing yet. So then on of the staff members a gal with glasses comes us to me calling me by someone else last name I said oh that’s not me then she follows by asking me what is my last name I tell her and she looks at me and says ma’am your last name I say again “I just said and repeat it” and looks at me like I’m stupid and asking me again and I said I just told you and then says can I see you ID I say no I’m not who you are looking for and she walks away. By 4 something one of the staff up front calls everyone who has been waiting to come up front I go up and the gal with the glasses doesn’t bother to help ignores me and I walk away as soon as someone else comes up she helps. By then I’m annoyed and just wanted to see how much longer she comes up to after a few mins and asks my last I tell her and then says I need you ID I tell her oh ok I gave them up front and rude as can be she tells me “I just need to check it’s you”. Jade provided excellent housekeeping services. She was always efficient, friendly and polite without ever overstepping boundaries. The front desk staff and valet were great. We got all of our questions answered accurately and promptly. Our car was always brought to the entrance within the time we requested. The Bistro staff were very friendly and efficient.

After a long drive which started in California, this hotel was a great choice, fast check in/out, staff friendly, clean rooms and comfortable beds. Easy to get to Tacoma dome for concerts, lots of yummy places to eat like thai, tacos. Close to Dorky's for some arcade fun. Not far from the Courthouse which has beautiful Chihuly glass in it. Close to UW Tacoma campus, the Link and the freeway.

The block where this hotel and the convention center was very well-kept and comfortable. Staff helped me out with some unusual requests. I really appreciated them. Tacoma has become a scary place and if you venture outside the immediate vicinity of the hotel after dark, be very careful. Otherwise, no complaints.

This is our favorite place to stay. The food in the bistro is absolutely excellent. They have a nice selection of coffee’s wine beer. The food was remarkable and a nice selection of that. Also staff is friendly very convenient to the convention center. There’s an excellent steakhouse within walking distance And other restaurants like the spaghetti factory that are within a short, walking distance great place for kids all ages

Easy check in, parking is across the street but easily accessible. We op-ed out of valet but its only 3 more dollars if youd like. The pool and hot tub are closed. But the View and room size was perfect for our little getaway! No room service but the bistro was so good had dinner and breakfast there.

Jade provided excellent housekeeping services. She was always efficient, friendly and polite without ever overstepping boundaries. The front desk staff and valet were great. We got all of our questions answered accurately and promptly. Our car was always brought to the entrance within the time we requested. The Bistro staff were very friendly and efficient.

4.5 if i could. Safish nicish area of Taoma. Lots of bars & family friendly activities nearby. Beautiful building and rooms. Very friendly staff. Very cool breakfest area except breakfest is not free. They do make starbucks tho! Parking is either 20 bucks for self at convention center across street or 30 for valet. Valet is worth it. If breakfest bar was free, id give a 5 but the restaurant is cool i suppose. It is a gorgeous hotel.

The property was clean and comfortable. The bistro had a limited menu but the food was delicious and the service was excellent. The desk clerk was remarkable--efficient, capable, friendly, helpful. The valet parking service was also excellent. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Great place to stay! Only issue is how expensive the food items are, $6.07 for a drip coffee is a little absurd. The hotel food is actually more expensive than the Seattle airport prices.

Convenient location close to downtown Tacoma. Room was very clean, quiet. The bathroom had shampoo in a dispenser which was nice to reduce waste, but there was no conditioner dispenser (just an empty bracket). This may have just been an oversight but I realized too late at night to want to go bother the staff. Food in the bistro was overpriced for the quality. Didn’t have a chance to use any of the amenities as I was only there for one night. Valet parking was affordable and quick - definitely recommend making use of this.

I travel alot and this was by far, the worst accomodation I have had (for the cost) Check in: no problem there, normal stuff...BUT the room we were given was absolutely gross! Hair in the bathroom (sink, floor, toilet) carpet bunched up and DIRTY!, kick plate around the beds were filthy, the window was so sun damaged that it was opaque and you could only see thru parts of it. Nicks, scrapes and gouges in the wood work..etc..Needless to say, we requested another room. 2nd room was cleaner, but the tub was worn out with stains all over it, the sink basin was the smallest I've ever seen!, and wood work was still beat up, over all, the room was in need of a facelift! I paid for a deluxe suite, what I got was a large room with 2 queens and a worn out hide a bed. We requested a wake up call...didn't happen! Luckily my phone alarm worked! Wanted the free coffee to find out the only coffee "free" was the room "pods" (the absolute worst truck stop style!) (altho the staff did begrudgingly make me a espresso .it wasn't because he wanted to!..I just whined alot) All coffee except room pods co$t. There are no free amenities! There was only one bottle of water in the room and it was $6. I thought we were to get free breakfast, but despite paying nearly $350 a night for the room, we were informed that we hadn't purchased the correct package. A Manhatten and a "mule" cost $37. NO views! I really would prefer to have my money back. It was a horrible place to stay.

I felt like me standing in a slow line to order for an extended period of time, and the simple fact I was placing an order, was an inconvenience to them - we were there for both breakfast and dinner. So rude. Very disappointed with spending $600 on a two day stay and it feel like a $50 a night place. Valet and housekeeping staff were great though.
