Comfort Suites Yakima

Would have been great if we didn't attempt to use the hot tub. Besides the hot tub being colder than many pools and the floor in our room having a few large crumbs on it, it was a decent stay. Parking was good over the weekend, but may be difficult during the week. The front-desk staff was pleasant and treated us to warm cookies.

Unfortunately, the elevator wasn't working for several days.

The accommodations were very comfortable. We did unplug the refrigerator because it made a noise that kept us awake. We really appreciated that the pool & hotub was available 24 hours.

When I arrived I was told the elevator was broken and it would not be fixed. Only room available to me was on the 3rd floor. I am 79 and it was a struggle carrying luggage three flights of steps.

Pool and hot tub needs work. It's Yakima so don't leave valuables in your vehicle. Excellent breakfast and great service!!

Only complaint was the pool was freezing cold! Couldn’t even swim in it…

Lobby is clean and welcoming. Our room was in bad shape, I was surprised since the reviews were so positive. Maybe we just had a dud. Pool area looks ok, gym is clean but very limited.

The workout room was tiny and had no weights. None. They are still using Covid as an excuse.

Not as clean as expected. Sticky floors that can be heard as you walk. Receptionist not attentive/present at the front desk, after 15-20 min waiting there with 2 little ones I called the hotel number and asked them to come to the front desk for check-in. The receptionist was not welcoming and went back to his room as soon as he left the rood ken on the counter. Asked him if he could leave a bell to make it easier for guests. His answer was just sorry we do not have it. The next day I saw a bell sitting there which was promising! Unfortunately, an employee who does not care about where their paycheck comes from.

This is a good option for Yakima, maybe the best overall in terms of safety, price and location. The hotel does well with staff friendliness and being helpful. However, it desperately needs to have the carpets and chairs steam cleaned in the public areas. I was afraid to sit on most of the lobby chairs because of how filthy they are, and there were stairways which were never cleaned with pieces of popcorn on them for days. A suggestion for the management is to have cameras in the lobby and hallways. Overall, I would stay again because the rooms were fine and appreciated having the ironing board to deal with wrinkled clothing from the trip, and the breakfast has plenty of choices including hot items. We tried the in-room Keurig beverage maker once, for the green tea, and it was so bad we threw it out (and we don't like to waste but it tasted not ok). It would have been a lot nicer if there were real mugs and glasses in the rooms instead of paper and plastic. I also wondered about what is being done with all the plastic and paper waste from the disposable utensils and plates from all the guests, day after day. This seems incredibly wasteful. Again, don't get me wrong, in the big picture I definitely would stay again but I would hope at least that the carpets and floors and upholstered chairs would be cleaned more purposefully and regularly, as well as put a bit more attention to detail on the floors in general. Bed was quite comfortable. Thank you for a good stay.

The comforters were unwashed (stained with what looked like blood, smeared boogers, and had hairs on them), and the toiletries in the bathroom were half empty and hair-laden … clearly they were unwashed between visits. The fridge made a constant high-pitched noise, and the hallway was dimly lit. The staff was very friendly, but I’d recommend staying anywhere else if you can. EXTREMELY UNCLEAN.

Staff were friendly, but photos of property are out dated. It was not what we expected, based on the photos. The comforter had old stained blood. A lot of wear and tear to the room.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff were very kind and helpful. We liked the continental breakfast. The hotel was very clean, and the beds were comfy.

The employees were great but the carpeting in the room was filthy and the bathroom back of the door was peeling. Breakfast was good and they had great complimentary soup and cookies at night an yummy lemon infused water throughout day.

Clean rooms, accommodating staff, quiet, beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again

I can’t read the info for Wi-Fi (handwritten). Nor could I find a network that looked close to what I could read! The check-in clerk was cordial enough, but disappeared before I noticed. (6:05 pm)

good stay, the location is convenience, the only complain I have is that the room is not isolated from noises from other rooms.

Older property. Lobby could be updated. Room is comfortable. Great mattress.

HVAC was not cooling the room, no tech on Saturday evening. Obvious damage from a room break-in. Several outlets not working, including coffee maker. Staff on duty tried to help.

Was in town for training and chose to stay here. It was affordable and clean. Only issues were the refrigerator which froze everything and could not be adjusted and the breakfast which wasn't very good.

Yderst hjælpsom og energisk receptionist. Hun virkede oprigtig. Desværre lå værelseskvaliteten nederst på skalaen. Et køleskab som larmede hele tiden og som “frys” varerne mere end det kølede. Det var ikke muligt at slukke eller regulere på køleskabet. En aircondition der lød som et “bumletog” når det var igang, så det måtte vi slukke for ret hurtigt.

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast included single serve items in addition to eggs, bacon, potatoes and make your own waffles. The single serve items included yogurt, granola bars, yogurts, boiled eggs nd fruits. The water pressure was also awesome.

Dates facilities but rooms were spacious, clean and nicely furnished. Staff was extremely helpful throughout the stay accommodating several requests.

They promote a buffet breakfast until 9:00 AM. By 8:45 it was completely depleted, and no seeming intention to restock for guests arriving at that time. I erred in my checkout date. I came back to my room, and all my luggage and possessions had been removed…. No call to alert us. And no significant influx of new guests. I admit my error, but felt abruptly disregarded. I’ll never, ever, stay at a Comfort Suite again.

Tony at the front desk has been so friendly and helpful. Even when I called before arriving with questions, he worked diligently to help me out. This guy deserves a raise.

Quick business trip, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean, quiet and close to several restaurants

The rooms were really very nice. The young lady that checked us in was amazingly nice. I needed help Saturday evening and the front desk gal was perfection as well. Breakfast was ok, I’ve had worse but also better. It’s not a complaint though, just the only area there’s room for any improvement, in my opinion.

No potatoes or biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Other location provided it. Small hotel. Right next to Dennys and Fred Meyers.

Close to Prometric testing center and Dennys!

Great for an overnight stay. Spacious clean room with a comfortable bed. Lots of restaurants within easy walking distance and a large recreation complex nearby with a good walking track. Would stay here again! Fresh cookies were a bonus upon check-in.

It was close to shopping and resturants.

This property is conveniently located. There is a great park for walking a dog, and there are restaurants and fast food places within a 3 minute walk. we stayed on a busy weekend and there were a number of late arrivals that made it fairly noisy. The staff was friendly. It is on a busy road but there was little road noise. I would come back to this property.

It was a great room for the price -- it was clean, comfortable and in a good location for nearby dining, shopping, etc. It is also an easy drive to the Cowiche Canyon hiking trails.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff was particularly friendly. Country gravy was not great but food selection was good for a hotel breakfast. Room was quiet and pretty clean. Convenient location for me, will stay here again when visiting family in town.

We absolutely loved the staff (their attentive and kind service), the free cookies and soup every evening, and the 24-hour coffee/cocoa station. The facility was very clean and well kept despite being a basic hotel. We'd choose this location over any others in the area in a heartbeat.

Great breakfast

This hotel is amazing. The staff makes you feel welcomed at all the times. They serve a soup everyday at 4 p.m and also fresh baked cookies! The breakfast is pretty decent. The pool has the perfect water temperature: it’s not freezing. The beds are super comfortable. My kids love to pieces this place and my daughter couldn’t stop crying when we left. I would come back for sure! The lady on the breakfast room goes to every table to make sure everyone has everything they need. I never got this kind of attention while staying in another branded hotel. The breakfast room is open 24 hours and you can eat there instead of using your room. It’s super family friendly hotel! Thank you for the amazing stay!

Everything was fine except in my room the carpet was stained and the elevator was slow. The breakfast was good but it doesn't have many options.
