Holiday Inn Express Deforest Madison Area by IHG

Good location right off I90. Starbucks, McDs, Culvers, Kwik Trip conveniently nearby. At the time we stayed the breakfast and elevator area was under renovation. Breakfast was moved to the meeting room...which really wasn't an issue at all. A lot of decent breakfast options: pancakes, sausage, eggs, cinn rolls, etc... Rooms for us were quiet, clean and seemed recently renovated. Bathroom was very small with just toilet and shower. Sink is by the door as you walk in the room. Other than the renovations in the lobby/breakfast area to deal with this hotel was a pleasant stay for us. It was a good spot to stay north of Madison for us to head towards MN the next morning.

Staff was nice

The location is great! So many food options within walking distance. The front desk clerk was wonderful. She let us check in early. The room was clean and had Dove soaps, lotions and shampoos which were nice. The breakfast buffet was good. We didn't leave hungry. The lady running the buffet was a sweetheart! The only downside was the hotel is under remodeling. The hot tub was inoperable. And possibly the pool might be before long. Our room 313 was on the Starbucks side. They open at 6 and woke us up. The drive thru is right there and you can hear the lady on the loudspeaker taking orders. wastuemodeling

Hotel is being renovated. Should be decent when finished. Room facing the street was pretty loud.

I didn’t even have heat. Waiting for my refund. Horrible hotel
