Checking was fast and easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. I love Best Westerns, and I appreciate how awesome the stay is, how comfortable the beds and pillows are, and how accommodating staff is, as well as the hotel. There is a $100 fee that gets put on hold so if there’s something severely ruined it gets paid for that isn’t in the up front costs or in the agreement at checkout on the apps, or on the website. I understand the reasons for it, but that should be disclosed prior to check in, and obvious so people can see it. I had already prepaid for my room, so they had to use my card for that.. I just don’t think it’s right to do that last minute “fee” upon arrival, and I don’t think it’s ok to put your staff in that position to deal with angry customers that won’t reason, or can’t afford that extra fee before it gets put back into the bank.
