Baymont by Wyndham Waukesha

I used to go to this hotel often I like the area it was closed from Milwaukee . I enjoyed the pool and the whirlpool. I hadn’t been there in a few years and now the whirlpool is gone when I ask about the whirlpool, they looked at me like I was crazy and said there never was a whirlpool. If you go in the pool area you can see where the whirlpool was because it’s covered up. I’m older and it was always so nice to sit in the whirlpool my knees, my back my shoulders. It always did wonders for me and I just enjoyed the atmosphere. I won’t go back there. I will look for a hotel that has a nicer area with a whirlpool.

Well kept property, clean and tidy. Breakfast was fairly standard for this hotel star rating. Pool was not very deep so big bonus for parents with children. Rooms were clean, toilet and shower area could use updating. Outside key readers on doors were out of service but hotel had many cameras down hallways and in pool area. The area around the property felt safe. I caution anyone traveling with with more then one adult or children and pets. Additional charges and fees are not disclosed in the fine print at booking. Hotel has a long list of up charges they will access at check in.

Simple property. Wish the pool was warmer.

Staff was amiable and helpful. Room was basic and clean. Pool was NOT available and snow removal was very poor - inconvenient and even dangerous.

The pool is smaller than it looks in the picture. No hot tub. The hotel is located in the weird street and it’s hard for the tourists that don’t know how to drive around here. Not many restaurants nearby only McDonald and Taco bell but the gas station nearby offers many take home food which is nice. Hotel room offers a microwave and a fridge.

When we first arrived, we were given a room on the 2nd floor. I found a luggage cart to load up only to realize there was no elevator! They changed us to a first floor room because my husband had shoulder surgery and was in a sling and couldn't help unload the luggage. After settling into our room, we found snack wrappers and garbage on the floor. The freezer was filthy and looked like a frozen brown soda exploded in it. Our room keys didn't work consistently and we had to get them reprogrammed several times - once after not being able to get into a side entrance and have to walk all the around to the front door. The manager on duty was unfriendly and rude Our bathtub had hair all over it. The whole place was run down and dirty! There was a dirty man who seemed to be living in a creepy van in the back parking lot. He was nosy and getting into everyone's business as though he was a security guard. I will NEVER stay at this hotel every again! Worst hotel stay ever!

The attention was excellent! They are very friendly, respectful and willing to help 👏 You can have options for your breakfast and the food is good. 😊 But if you have too much luggage you should ask for a room downstairs because there is no elevator.

general conditions were currently acceptable but repairs will be needed ie one non-working ice machine. other machines worked. no during stay room cleaning service resulted in small overflowing garbage cans.

We couldn't get the temperature control unit to turn on, so room was quite warm. Our sink drain broke, so couldn't drain. And our bed sheets were stained. That being said, we didn't tell the front desk about it until we were checking out, so not sure if they would have done anything about it. We didn't get to our room until late and were too tired to want to move rooms at that point.

WE FOUND BED BUGS! UPON ENTERING THE ROOM AND OF COURSE DECIDED WE COULDN'T STAY. I WENT TO THE FRONT DESK AND THEY WOULDN'T REFUND THE ROOM COST EVEN THOUGH WE HADN'T BEEN IN THE ROOM 5 MINS. NO EXCUSE FOR THEIR BEHAVIOR.

The room smelled of cat urine, which can come from excessive mold and mildew. When leaving there were multiple Service Pro trucks and workers waiting in the parking lot. There were no other rooms available.

I'm not sure if the room we were put in was even supposed to be occupied. It was VERY dirty. The bathroom was so gross with an extremes rusty towel rack and mildew all over the tub area. There was dust all over the room along with stained and dirty lamp shades and bedding. Someone was very clearly smoking in the hotel because there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the hallway. Overall this was one of the most unpleasant hotel stays i have ever had. Would not recommend.

Pro: inexpensive Con: bedbugs. Front desks response on learning that I had bite on my body from staying there was, “we’ve never had bedbugs here before.” Well, you do now, and I’ve got about 2 dozen bites to prove it. Consider another spot to stay until they fix their bedbug problem. Room 101, gross. Waiting on Expedia to get my money back.

Not the cleanest, drain didn’t drain when showering

Our room was comfortable but quite dirty. Floor was sticky. Corners of all rooms had loads of dirt and possibly big excrement. My parents had roaches in their room. The only way I would stay here again is if they amped up their cleaning process.

The staff member that checked us in was friendly, but warned to not fill the tub up very far for some reason.....but it didnt matter because we didn't even want to try and use the hot tub in the room, it looked dirty. The bottom of your shoes stuck to the floor when entering the room. The couch looked filthy and had the cushions on backwards. The little cup that holds the coffee on the coffee maker in the room was missing and we found it on the floor under a table....and left it there. Based on cleanthleness of the room we didn't dare try breakfast.

Conditions were average but could use a makeover. Starting to look shabby.

Air conditioners were awful; loud and not very cool. Windows were open during a thunderstorm and that made the rooms muggy and hot. TV in the living area didnt work. Room setup was nice. Rooms were fairly clean

Prive was good, room was dated but ok.

The room was spacious and very clean. We had some trouble with the TV, but the desk guy had it fixed in five minutes.

Let's start with its 90° outside we had been driving for 4 and a half hours before we got to the hotel at the time we got to the hotel it was 78°. Upon entering the hotel front office area it was nice air-conditioned, but a bit run down, but being tired and needing sleep we got our room key and went to park in the back parking lot. Coming around the corner we saw a large group of people sitting on lawn chairs in the parking lot. We grabbed our stuff and headed in the back door to the hotel, the group sitting said good luck. I thought that was odd. As soon as we opened the door to the back entrance we were blasted with HOT Humid AIR at least significantly warmer than the outside temp we made our way to the room and opened the door to even WARMER AIR I hurried and turned the AC on and went back outside and sat on the back of my truck for a half hour to let it cool down in the room. Going back to the room very tired it wasn't cool in there but it was tolerable. At about 3 AM the AC stopped working ending up opening the window trying to cool it off. When I got a little sleep I could, I woke in the morning and went to take a shower upon closing the door to the bathroom I noticed the BLOOD SPATTER on the door and wall I quickly got dressed packed up, and went to the front desk. I spoke directly to the manager about the AC first, and he said “You should have come down at 3 AM and got a different room" As for the blood issue he said nothing, not even an apology. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Quick stay. Hoped to swim, but couldn’t find the pool (no signage) and staff were rarely visible. Very clean and spacious room. Didn’t sleep well since the people above us were walking around at all hours of the night. Thin walls. Breakfast was highly disappointing. Cold ham, watery eggs, and sugared cereal.

Was clean, heater falling apart, toilet loose, cable wall cover disconnected from wall and king bed well wore passed its usable life

We had a suite that was very clean and spacious. A very good price! Would definitely stay again.

They were very kind and accommodating

We booked a suite which is nicer than we would normally travel. A few days before our trip, we extended the stay out an additional day and called to clear this with the front desk to ensure we could have the same room twice. We didn’t encounter any issues at check-in, but on our second day we got several calls from the front desk that we needed to come down and re-file our card. This was at 11am, so much for staying another night to sleep in! Our second night was also uneventful, but our last morning we ran into another issue with the front desk. Again communicated in advance, we were told we could check out late at 1230-1, at our convenience. 1100 sharp the manager was banging on our door telling us to leave immediately or we would be charged for a second night in full. I protested that we had already used the late checkout that comes with Diamond status, and she said we had to be out by 1130, or again, we would be charged a full night. Great property, not so great (female) desk agent.

Wonderful staff- Smit is a very nice gentleman and made sure the check in process went smoothly - this is our second time staying and we had no issues

Asked for an extra towel to use as hair wrap, was denied because a dirty towel was needed for exchange. Had to explain to front counter that towel was extra not replacement. Told would be extra charge if not all 4 towels were not found when checking out. Needed an extra set of sheets, request denied. Hotel didn't have any extra. Ironing board cover needed replacement. Shower head sprayed everywhere. Needed replacement. basic necessities. Nothing extravagant and customer service, nothing special also.

I came in about 130am after spending time with a very dear friend. It was a little unnerving the wait I had before someone appeared. I don't know if that is the hotels policy or what. I was getting very afraid I wouldn't have a room

The rep at the check in desk was not at all helpful, he was condescending and rude. Further more, when I checked out, I had left a sweater in the room and called to inquire if housekeeping found it, I was told I called too late and it probably wasn’t even there anymore, that housekeeping is gone, he can’t help me, and “maybe they’ll be in tomorrow”

This is not an expensive 5 star hotel, yet we received more than we paid for when booking at Baymont by Wyndam. The hotel itself and rooms were clean and the AC unit worked well. The desk staff was very kind and went out of his way to help us and make sure we were happy. I didn't realize there was not an elevator and he helped my husband carry our wagon of stuff up to the second floor. He also allowed us a later check out for no additional fees. Breakfast was good and hot with several options. The site did advertize a pool and hot tub, but the hot tub does not exist, which was a minor disappointment. The pool was not large, but did have a deep and shallow end. We were beyond happy for the price we paid and what we received, compared to some bigger name and more expensive options.

I had a difficult finding this property on my iPhone navigation. It had me going around in a circle. I was a half mile away and by a large car dealership when I called the motel. The staff said he didn’t know where I was! When I arrived, he then changed the story to that he couldn’t hear me. He did not even try to help me. There are better places to stay next time.

I was impressed with the curtesy and professionalism of the front desk staff in dealing with rude customers.

Perfect location for us

This hotel is centrally located to shopping and dining options amd only a couple of miles from the interstate. The room was clean. Our entire floor smelled like curry. It was overwhelming really. The front desk clerk when I checked in and checked out was very welcoming and friendly. The hotel lost power during our stay. This was an area wide issue, due to the extreme heat. We requested to get a refund for our second night in order to head towards home and get a hotel with power and air-conditioning. That desk attendant simply said no, we had to talk with a manager in the morning. That would have defeated the purpose, so we chose to stay. Luckily, power did get fixed before bedtime but it took quite a while to get our room chill again. Overall, I would recommend the hotel as an affordable, safe option to stay on the outskirts of Milwaukee.

Was close to the highway & only 15 minutes from downtown Milwaukee. It had plenty of dining options & a mall with a movie theater. It’s an older hotel so it still has carpet in by the rooms (which I hate) & they don’t provide lotion but it’s clean & reasonably priced.

Very good for the price. Breakfast had plenty of items (scrambled eggs, sausage, Canadian bacon) to make for a great start to your day. I was in town for a volleyball tournament at Center Court and it is a short drive away. Plenty of restaurant options near the hotel. I slept well and the rooms have the amenities you would need (hair dryer, iron, ironing board, safe, refrigerator and microwave). I would definitely stay there again.

I was attending an event in the area the Baymont was close rooms were nice had microwave and small fridge also a safe. Room clean and area seemed safe.

Once i found the hotel, it was plenty of places to eat & shop walking distance but be careful its a very busy 4 to 5 way very street crossingquant, nice area

I usually stay at a Hilton hotel as I am a member and get discounted rates. But this was a last minute trip for Harley Davidsons homecoming party and this hotel was the closest to the events. I guess I’ve been spoiled to Hiltons cleanliness and hospitality because this place was no where close to a Hilton. It was more like a motel 6 or red roof inn. The breakfast was almost inedible. The room was dirty and smelled. The front desk staff was less than helpful on the 2 occasions I asked for assistance. Definitely would rather pay an extra $50-$100 to not feel like I’m going to wake up with bed bug bites.

It delivered the bang for the buck, decent breakfast options and good options for entrance into the hotel after hours. Not a whole lot I didn't like, would definitely come back

Hotel was dated. Carpets were worn and stained. Breakfast sausage was not cooked was cold still and eggs were not palatable.

I enjoyed my stay, they were accommodating and ok when I had 2 small children in the place of 1 child per a last minute change. Stayed for 2 nights, rooms were clean, beds were comfy. Breakfast was okay, scrambled eggs, sausage, canadian bacon, waffles and cold cereal.rooms were spacious. Would stay again. again. waffles, cold cereal.

There was an extension cord leading from the vending machines, taped down across a major hall, up a pony wall, and plugged into the breakfast area on the other side of the wall. Cream cheese with "refrigeration needed" was in a bowl. Just before 6AM it was warm.

The milk was left out which could make people sick, plugs didn't work in room, I was condemned for being a woman and traveling alone and the clerk upon chk in was questioning my therapists service animal prescription...next time ensure your clerks know how to read.
