Well stocked kitchen with all the pots, pans, casserole dishes, and kitchen utensils you can possible need. Spectacular views both in the front and back of the cabin. The cabin and resort were incredibly CLEAN! Comfortable beds and furniture. There were only 3 of us but if you had a group or kids, the second floor game room would keep the young and old entertained. All this and we could bring our dog! And if you want to see bears? They visited every single morning and evening. We are already planning our next trip back!

We loved our 6 night stay. Very clean, spacious cabin, with lots of amenities. The pool and hot tub were a wonderful way to end our days. Beautiful views, loved that it is pet friendly, and enjoyed the multiple bear sightings below the deck. Excellent communication with our host. Would definitely stay again!

I wish we had made longer reservation. No body wanted to leave. The cabin has a cozy feel, but there was plenty of space for everyone and our dogs too. The beds were comfortable, the view was amazing, and we loved the hot tub and jacuzzi tub.

Cabin was great and very clean. Kids had a great time in the game loft and hot tub. I would say that both lofts with the beds are very high for little kids. Our were fine, they were 8, but small kids might have a hard time getting up and down safely. We had a great time!

I booked this cabin for my family's late May 2025 vacation to the area. The cabin is located in The Preserve Resort, which is a wonderful neighborhood with several cabins, a fitness center, and community pool. We loved the peacefulness of sitting out on the back porch in the evening gazing into the forest. Our teens (ages 18 and 16) loved the air hockey and pool tables upstairs. We were also very happy that both bedrooms had a TV in the them. The loft had two queen beds in it, but the lights didn't work up there on the ceiling. There was a working lamp between the two beds though. The other loft only had a full-size futon mattress on the floor. Our sixteen year old was originally going to sleep up on one of the queen beds, but due to his occasional sleepwalking, he decided instead to sleep on the couch in the living room downstairs. We loved looking at the pics on the wall of all the dogs who had stayed there before. The location was perfect, even with the sometimes step, winding road leading up to the resort. We didn't get to try out the pool because the code wouldn't work, but Mr. Jeff was very understanding and apologetic as he tried to help us. We were later given a backup code, but we had already made other plans by that point. Also, the washing machine in the cabin works good, but the dryer lacks a lot to be desired. Two towels in there for 30 minutes were still soggy wet when removed. All-in-all, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!

We stole away from the Knoxville area for a last-minute trip for the 4th. The cabin was beautiful and very pet-friendly. It's in a little neighborhood with similar cabins, but it was fairly quiet. The views were stunning! And the game room: a hit for sure for all of us!! The pool was a great extra, but it's small for the size of the neighborhood and got crowded quickly (but, it was a holiday weekend ...). Wears Valley and Townsend are fun to check out, and the cabin area is not far from the west entrance to the GSMNP. Beware though, holiday weekends are super crowded in this area!! All in all, a great last-minute getaway!!

This cabin is absolutley amazing. Absolutely our favorite and this is one we will definitely book again in the future. The area is beautiful and the views are breathtaking. Jeff is great to work with and was always available to answer any questions. Cabin has everything you need and very clean. We had so much fun playing foosball, airhockey and pool. The view from the pool at the resort is unbelievable. Thanks Jeff for everything!!! Cabin is not far from Pigeon Forge or Gaitlinburg but once at the cabin, you are in your own peaceful place.

We had an exceptional stay at Bears Abound. The place was very clean and had plenty of activities to keep us busy during our time there. It was also in good proximity to many of the activities we wanted to do in Pigeon Forge but felt far enough away that we were in a cabin in the woods. We would highly recommend and are already discussing going back!

Our stay at Bears Abound was excellent! We had a family of five plus an extra adult. There was more than enough room for everyone. The kids (ages 15, 13, and 8) loved sleeping in the loft areas, and the whole group spent the majority of time on the second floor playing pool, air hockey, and foosball. Although we didn’t use them, there were several board games and puzzles available. The cabin was clean and beautiful and had everything we could have needed. Property owner Jeff was very quick to respond to any questions and was super helpful with recommendations for activities since it was our first visit to the area. If we are ever back in the area, we would love to stay at Bears Abound again!

Enjoyed our short stay! The kitchen was well stocked! Had plenty of room! The only thing to note was that the small loft futon mattress was not a comfortable place to sleep for anyone except maybe a elementary school-age child.

The cabin was perfect for families with teenagers. 2 master suites and 3 large beds in loft areas that work well for tweens/teens/YA. Hot tub works well. Views are gorgeous from the house and pool, near dawn/dusk you can see bears, but they were not aggressive and didn't get very close. Quiet community with narrow roads up to the ridge. Highly recommend Bigfoot cheesesteaks in Wears Valley for dinner, short drive away. The owner is very responsive and communication is excellent. Only slight negative is that there is no communal bathroom--all bathrooms are in bedrooms. Would have been nice to have a little more of the basics provided for arrival since grocery store is a bit of a drive--soap/shampoo for each shower, a day or two of coffee, cookie sheet, etc. We left the supplies we bought for the next guests.

Our family loved staying at the cabin! The decor is amazing and the window overlooking the mountains is breathtaking. The hot tub and game room are an added bonus. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

We were so pleased with Bears Abound. Everything was easy from start to finish. Any questions we had were always answered almost immediately! Cabin was clean and met our expectations. We were very happy that our furbabies were able to enjoy our 30th wedding anniversary with us!

We loved our 6 night stay. Very clean, spacious cabin, with lots of amenities. The pool and hot tub were a wonderful way to end our days. Beautiful views, loved that it is pet friendly, and enjoyed the multiple bear sightings below the deck. Excellent communication with our host. Would definitely stay again!

Everything was perfect. Mr. Green is a wonderful host, and went above and beyond to make our vacation perfect. Starting every day with an insane view of the Smokies was unbelievable, and the proximity of the property allows its guests to enjoy the National Park as well as the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area. I booked this cabin for my family's late May 2025 vacation to the area. The cabin is located in The Preserve Resort, which is a wonderful neighborhood with several cabins, a fitness center, and community pool. We loved the peacefulness of sitting out on the back porch in the evening gazing into the forest. Our teens (ages 18 and 16) loved the air hockey and pool tables upstairs. We were also very happy that both bedrooms had a TV in the them. The loft had two queen beds in it, but the lights didn't work up there on the ceiling. There was a working lamp between the two beds though. The other loft only had a full-size futon mattress on the floor. Our sixteen year old was originally going to sleep up on one of the queen beds, but due to his occasional sleepwalking, he decided instead to sleep on the couch in the living room downstairs. We loved looking at the pics on the wall of all the dogs who had stayed there before. The location was perfect, even with the sometimes step, winding road leading up to the resort. We didn't get to try out the pool because the code wouldn't work, but Mr. Jeff was very understanding and apologetic as he tried to help us. We were later given a backup code, but we had already made other plans by that point. Also, the washing machine in the cabin works good, but the dryer lacks a lot to be desired. Two towels in there for 30 minutes were still soggy wet when removed. All-in-all, we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!

Exactly what we needed for our family of five with two dogs. The pool has the best view in the area. Very clean and comfortable. Had an issue with the WiFi and the owner was extremely helpful and quick to respond. Nice quiet neighborhood with all the amenities one could need. Would stay here again.

My wife and I had a great time at Bears Abound. There was more than enough space for us to enjoy and the game tables were a great bonus! The check-in & check-out process was very smooth. I highly recommend this cabin for any couple or family to enjoy.

Absolutely LOVED our stay here. The views were unmatched, it was like being on top of the world. Jeff was on the ball with communication for anything that we needed. The AC upstairs went out and he made sure to get a guy out next day to fix it and kept me in constant loop of the whole situation. It was by far the best family vacation we’d ever been on. 100% will book again!

This is the second cabin we have stayed in, in this neighborhood and I am confident we will be back. This is now my favorite area to stay in because it’s quiet and away from all of the hustle and bustle but it’s still not too far away from downtown. We liked the layout of this cabin even better than the other one and it was clean and had everything that we needed. I like that it has two separate bedrooms in addition to the loft which is perfect for teens. The host was very responsive and I highly recommended this property.

Very nice cabin. It is just as you see in the pictures. Vety clean, nice view. Jeff, the owner, was very responsive and helpful when we had trouble with the TV Also, we left items in the closet and he, very nicely, said he would ship them to us. We loved our time at Bears Abound. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had truly breathtaking views. It was perfect for our family and very pet-friendly. Great location—peaceful yet close to everything. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

We had an exceptional stay at Bears Abound. The place was very clean and had plenty of activities to keep us busy during our time there. It was also in good proximity to many of the activities we wanted to do in Pigeon Forge but felt far enough away that we were in a cabin in the woods. We would highly recommend and are already discussing going back!

This was an excellent cabin. Plenty of room for our whole family (8) (2 dogs). The cabin had everything we needed for the stay. I would suggest this cabin to friends. I would stay there again for sure. This cabin was close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Literally only about 13 miles to the Kroger and Publix for Groceries. Again, very nice.

We stole away from the Knoxville area for a last-minute trip for the 4th. The cabin was beautiful and very pet-friendly. It's in a little neighborhood with similar cabins, but it was fairly quiet. The views were stunning! And the game room: a hit for sure for all of us!! The pool was a great extra, but it's small for the size of the neighborhood and got crowded quickly (but, it was a holiday weekend ...). Wears Valley and Townsend are fun to check out, and the cabin area is not far from the west entrance to the GSMNP. Beware though, holiday weekends are super crowded in this area!! All in all, a great last-minute getaway!!

We had an incredible weekend! We loved the cabin location as it was quiet, peaceful and gorgeous. The cabin was exactly as described with beautiful views. Would definitely stay there again!

We were only able to stay for one night. It was a very short trip. But we will definitely return if we get the chance to Bears Abound. The beds were comfortable. The view was amazing. There were lots of blankets and pillows. We had everything we could possibly need in the kitchen. The kids thought the lofts and all of the games were the best. And the adults really had fun playing pool also. The location is a little far from town and Dollywood. It took us about 40 minutes to get to the theme park. It’s at least a 20 minute drive to get any where in Pigeon Forge. But being a little further out was OK because the cabin was so awesome.

What a fantastic stay! The cabin is so beautiful. Loved sitting in the hot tub watching the sun go down over the mountain. My kids loved the loft area and we used the game room a lot! Plenty of space for a family of 5 and 3 dogs. About a 30-60 minute ride to all the places we wanted to go to. (It is winding roads to the cabin). The side yard was perfect for a quick potty break for the dogs, also the road has lots of people walking their dogs. Would definitely reccomend this cabin.

This cabin is the ideal spot for a family looking for a vacation away from the hustle and bustle of PF and GB. The views from this cabin are amazing!! Take a short walk and see a little more of the mountains, they were absolutely stunning!! It’s close to everything, but far enough away to offer that quiet solitude of being in the mountains. We even saw a couple of bears right in the preserve area. Jeff was very responsive to any questions. I would definitely stay here again.

Property was fantastic! The couches were a little rough however it is dog friendly so I didn’t expect brand new fancy couches. Make sure you can climb a ladder if you plan on sleeping in the loft. The cabin has a private hot tub however the public one listed in pictures is no longer there. Over all we had a fantastic time and would for sure visit again!
