Hotel Kompas

I booked room with 18 sqm and balcony. Never ever I can believe the room was 18 sqm, even not if bathroom and balcony is included. We could not sit together on the balcony, it was max 1 sqm and good for small table and one chair only. If hotel promotes Sauna etc, I definitely expect it to be included - and not that I need to pay 10 € for 3 hours - per person.

Lovely pool to relax in with amazing views, walkable to the lake, all the local sights and restaurants and was quiet. Aircon did not appear to work was the only downside.

Great service. Clean hotel. Very nice outdoor patio, pool and hot tub. Onsite parking. Not many food options at restaurant.

Great location, 5 min walk to the lake! Free parking was a massive plus, all the other hotels had charges, and there was always plenty of places even at the weekend which i was worried about! The hotel is abit dated, but it was clean and the staff were nice! Breakfast was decent!

We did Stay two days. The First day the air conditioning as well as the lift were Not working. We were under the roof and the temperature was very high. We did pay the Full Price despite this situation. Price is high (as everything in Bled). Hotel is loud. A lot of noise in the reception area that we could hear in our room. Only the breakfast was correct.

Fantastisk beliggenhet like ved Bled-sjøen. Et hotell som inneholder det meste, basseng, spa, treningsrom. Et utrolig flott uteområde. God frokost og ikke minst veldig god service i resepsjonen. Godt humør på de ansatte.

Beautiful location,enclosed pool and terrace with lake view. Our room was not facing the lake hence only 4 star rating.

The gentleman who checked us in was so warm and welcoming and was humorous. Hotel is bright and modern. Mere metres to central Bled whilst being in a quiet setting. Excellent gym but it’s not open before 9am

This was a very clean and comfortable accommodation.

Hervorragende Lage, Zimmer waren nicht ordentlich gereinigt aber nach Beschwerde sofort erledigt, sehr gutes Frühstück.

Lovely breakfasts - rooms ok - cramped bathroom - very clean - staff were excellent - hotel is not new, but it presents very well - good location - not the Ritz, but not the pits by any standard.

L'hôtel est relativement bien situé mais vieillissant, le lobby est grand mais pas super propre avec les clients qui laissent leur déchets partout autour des canapés. Checkin rapide et aimable. Ascenseur en panne plusieurs jours. Une fois la chambre découverte on se rend compte que les suppléments payés pour un balcon n'ont pas été pris en compte, on se retrouve dans une chambre vieillotte avec des petites lucarnes. L'hôtel nous a aimablement fait un petit remboursement. La salle de bain en fin de vie, de la moisissure noire sur la cabine de douche, rien pour accrocher le pommeau de douche au dessus de la tête malgré un débit de lance à incendie qui du coup est horizontal. La piscine est sous une serre, c'est étouffant a souhait et bien chlorée, elle n'est pas surveillée, ce qui fait qu'à un moment une dizaine d'enfants est venu embêter tout le monde (hurlements, "bombes" près des autres clients venus se relaxer sous le regard hilard et encourageant des géniteurs), personne de l'hôtel n'a réagit. Le petit déjeuner est bien mais le café est plus que brûlé, je ne sais pas quels grains bas de gamme ils utilisaient mais j'ai du tourner au thé. Au bout de quelque jours je constate que mon flacon de parfum a disparu. Je préviens l'accueil en leur disant que j'ai tout fouillé bagage compris. Réponse: il n'y a que vous et les femmes de chambre qui ont déverouillé votre porte. Oui, c'est tout à fait ce que je reproche... bref ils se dédouanent. Je ne recommande pas du tout.

De kamer was erg klein. Badkamer beschimmeld plafond stukwerk liet los. Balkon erg klein kon slechts een stoel op. Kamer leek meer een eenpersoonskamer. Andere kamer bleek niet mogelijk. Dit was geen waar voor geld

This hotel is a very short walk from Lake Bled, but is set back from the main road so that it's quiet. It has a large free parking area in front. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful - outstanding! Our room was very clean and comfortable, with everything that we needed. Breakfast included everything to start the day well. Lake-side cafes and restaurants are nearby. It's easy to rent bikes and go for a ride around Lake Bled in under and hour. We'd love to go back to this hotel anytime.

The hotel was very nice and clean, and has a great view of lake bled. It is very well located, close to the lake and walking trails, plenty of food and transport options, and honestly one of the better breakfast buffets I've seen. The main negatives were that the Aircon did not work at all, and the rooms were very hot. The shower was also very tiny, with a flappy paddle water/heat control that sticks out into the shower. Even as a quite small guy I was constantly hitting the paddle, changing the temp or pressure.

alles top. tolles Zimmer mit grossem Balkon. super Lage mit Aussicht vom Restaurant / Bar. Das Zimmer schien neu renoviert zu sein, nur das Badezimmer war sehr veraltet und der Spühlkasten hat leider in der Nacht sehr laut getropft. Fie Klimaanlage schien auch nicht wirklich zu funktionieren.

Good location, staff very helpful, breakfast was good also with plenty of selection. Loved the pool and hot tub room. Bedroom was a bit tired though, air con was super hot even on a cool setting and room suffered because of it.

We had a lake side room on floor 8, with a view of the castle. Staff was prompt and professional. Easy walk to lake front and bus stop. We would book again.

The hotel is in a good location for visiting Bled. However, the AC was not working properly which led to unbareably hot nights without much sleep. Mobile AC unit was provided but also didn't work. Also, the bathroom was tiny and badly designed, resulting in flooding the entire floor when showering. Staff also didn't ask how the stay was, and were quite disinterested in general.

Terrible stay here. I arrived at the hotel early and the staff offered to keep my luggage secured in a room until check in at 2pm. I came back at 2pm only to find out that they were giving me a room with no view even though I paid for one with a view. Then there was no AC working in the room. But most importantly they LOST my luggage! When I came back at 2pm my luggage was not in the luggage room and turns out there were no cameras either so not very secure. The first thing the employee did was accuse me of taking my own luggage out 3 times before another employee told her that there was a group that stored their luggage in the room at the same time and perhaps they took my luggage. It took them about an hour to track down the tour lead and then finally have an answer about my luggage. I sat in the lobby from 2pm check in until 6:40pm !! That’s when I finally got my luggage back. They also broke my tripod and eye glasses and all the manger offered was 10% off my stay ! It’s only after I demanded to speak to the director that I was offered a 20% discount. Sadly I would not recommend this hotel. No AC in 30-34 degree weather ! They finally offered me a portable AC that I had to refill water everyday. People should not have to do this in a 4 star hotel!

Im Hotel hat die Klimaanlage nicht funktioniert, warmes Wasser gab es auch keines. Es wurde eine Rückvergütung von 20% versprochen, wir bekamen die nicht bei der Abreise, sie werde uns später auf die Karte rückvergütet sagten sie uns. (Habe ich bis jetzt nicht erhalten) Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Seesicht, was mit den Lärm in der Nacht kein Vorteil war. Das Frühstückbuffet war gut und schön angerichtet. Genügend Parkplätze stehen zur Verfügung. Das Hotel hat seine Blütezeit hinter sich und hat maximal noch drei Sterne.

Oh Hotel Kompass. What a mixed bag you were. But you crossed the line when you ordered our airport taxi telling us 70 euros and when we got here, the driver wanted 90. When we called to talk to you, refused to discuss, and when we said “ it will go on trip advisor” said “ do what you like” and hung up. Wow! zero customer service. Hotel Kompass is old and does not live up to the pictures. Room is badly designed, too hot with air conditioning that worked by the curtain only. Doors not working. Staff were smoking under our balcony. The hotel looked tired. Can’t fault breakfast. Some staff kind , others rude.Pool and hot tub ok with nice view. Staying here was not relaxing or great. But close to lake and shops. There must be better hotels in Bled .

Terrible stay here. I arrived at the hotel early and the staff offered to keep my luggage secured in a room until check in at 2pm. I came back at 2pm only to find out that they were giving me a room with no view even though I paid for one with a view. Then there was no AC working in the room. Booked as a two night stopover in Bled after a walking trip in the Julian Alps. Booked two twin rooms, both very clean, comfortable, practical and quiet. Breakfast is excellent with a wide choice of cold and hot dishes to pick from. The hotel is very well located with views of Lake Bled, the mountains and castle. The swimming pool and hot tub were a welcome relief after the walking trip and it was a great place to relax and wind down. It's a short walk to the town with it's many restaurants and bars.,

Hotel Kompas was the perfect hotel for our 2 night stay in Bled. Check-in was easy, staff are all friendly. Breakfast was good - great selection of food and all tasty. The hotel is in a good location, easy to walk around and experience Bled.

Friendly staff , convenient location and comfortable rooms . Good breakfast but v disappointed that the restaurant ( with a lakeside biew) is no longer open .Spa ok but needs an update
