We were visiting family in the area. Thoroughly enjoyed the full breakfast in the morning. Took advantage of the pool when it was 28°C outside. Used the sauna as well. Walked to Joey's Coquitlam restaurant 20 minute exercise both ways. Hubby enjoyed the gym in the morning

Access poor, signage poor, room was clean, Expedia booked us under wrong name, bathroom was clean but under towelled. Upgrade to jetted tub useless if no towels in tub area. Parking lot extremely poor, underground parking area dark and perceived unsafe. Entry to property sketchy.

Room is just ok, the glass sliding door to the balcony is broken and really hard to open & closed. This is an outdoor pool with heated so the water is always warm for September. Breakfast is not too good and i don't really like it much. Not stay again, sorry.

Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Fitness facility was clean. Pool was a reasonable temperature. The kitchenette section needs work. There were few dishes and those that were there weren't clean. The stove was ancient.

The room condition was quite poor. There was a strong smoking odour mixed with urine in the room. The bathtub rail was broken and the room appeared to have not been swept prior to our arrival. Hair and previous visitor belongings were found throughout the room. What concerned is the the most is prior to our arrival the hotel had charged our credit card- even though we had chosen to pay at property. We also received numerous calls and emails stating that we needed to confirm our arrival or we would Lose the room since they were almost at full capacity. This made traveling quite stressful as we had to keep answering their calls and emails while at the airport and sightseeing. Usually you book a hotel and once you have a confirmation you know that your room will be there upon your arrival, you don’t need to keep confirming and giving multiple credit card numbers to hold the room. The breakfast was ok. The apples were rotten and the pancake batter was never mixed properly. There was cereal or toast as other options. We didn’t visit the pool as it was outside and timing didn’t line up. All machines in the gym didn’t work properly, the stationary bike was completely broken and the treadmill has a mind of its own.

Some rooms are in need of serious updating. We were given another room after I asked for something newer. Overall a great stay and we enjoyed the heated outdoor pool and complimentary breakfast. Would stay there again. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Checked into my room only to find a bunch of dead flies on my bed and the floor beside it. When I notified them of the issue, they were apologetic, but said that the housekeeper had left for the day and they needed a minute to figure it out. I had to be the one to suggest putting me in a different room. The new room didn't have any fly issues, but the curtains didn't fit the window properly and the light woke us up at 5:30am. The hallways of the hotel are very worn out and while the rooms have been updated they still have a shabby feel. The breakfast was good, but probably the only positive of our stay.

Bed linens were dirty and had long hairs, cleaners did not come each day and when they did they did not replace the soap that was used. I had to go down to the front desk at night to ask for a soap one night and for a blanket another night. The employees at the front desk were very apologetic and accommodating but the cleaning staff and the pool stunk.

Everything about this hotel was mostly good the only problem just happened to be a big problem. The bathroom was falling apart and there was water damage on most of the walls. The worst part was as soon as we got into the room I turned on the bathroom light and a german cockroach scurried across the floor. After my partner squashed that one we saw several more over the two days we were there. It was quite unsettling and definitely made the stay less comfortable than I was hoping for.

This hotel is very old and has a terrible smell when you walk through the front door. The room was nicely furnished and the beds were comfortable unfortunately there was a strong moldy smell in the room. Mold could be seen on bathroom ceiling. The advertised kitchenette was ancient and useless since one pot was provided and no utensils, plates cutlery. The rooms should have glasses and there should be water available in the vending machine or provide some. The breakfast was very nice. Overall I think this could be a good hotel but they need to get rid of the mold and smell problem, and update the kitchenettes and water in vending machines.

It was ok. Maintenance is really needed. Old jacuzzi with tape holding the access panel on. Really small toilet. Bed was comfortable. Flooring broken. If you just need a place to sleep for the night it’s fine.

Not very impressed with this place. So close to the freeway, the traffic was steady all night. Room jaccuzi and floors need repairs. Could not sleep until traffic died off around 2 am. Started again at 5 am.

Better breakfast than I expected--they had the usual yogurt, apples, cereal, bread, muffins (chocolate chip), but also chocolate mini croissants, glazed donuts, sausages, eggs, potatoes, and waffles with an array of toppings to choose from. I was sorry I didn't bring workout clothes--the gym equipment looked new and inviting. The beds were on wheels and the wheel locks on the one my husband and I slept on were broken--moreover, the wheels were bent parallel to the floor--so every time we sat on it during the day or turned over in our sleep, it moved the whole bed several inches away from the headboard attached to the wall, again and again. We mentioned it to the front desk, and the guy at the desk indicated that he'd have it taken care of.

The staff was absolutely fantastic. We had a spacious suite that looks to be getting ready for a remodel and it was so comfy. Beds were comfy, deck with patio furniture was an added bonus for our stay.

Comfortable, clean room. Friendly staff. Diced potatoes and sausage were very good. The usual waffle machine, pastries, yogurt, instant oatmeal and cereal also available. Orange, apple and cranberry juice, plus coffee. The only negative, and it's not the hotel's fault, is that trains nearby blow their horns in the middle of the night, like 2:00-4:00 am.

Helt greit sted. 100 m fra Hertz, veldig nære utkjøring til Highway 1, som er en hovedåre ut og inn fra Vancouver (østover, vestover og nordover. Beliggenheten ikke av de beste i forhold trafikk og lite å finne på i nærområde. Savnet også informasjonsbok på rommet. Reist rundt i BC og Alberta gjennom 20 år så rent erfaringsmessig er dette et hotell som er helt OK som transitt for videre reise. Fin offentlig komunikasjon mot Vancouver Down Town og Simon Fraser University, (Sky train og buss) Man kjøper et Compasskort som man kan laste inn penger på via automat på togstasjonene. Har man betalt for en tur, gjelder betalingen for alle andre turer, med buss og tog i 1,5 time.

Central Location. On and off the highway was easily accessible, parking was free and easy. Only 10 min drive to Vancouver. I was given an accessible room so the sink was very low and I am tall but no big deal. Was offered an early check in for a nominal fee which I took advantage of and appreciated.

Good value. Facility is older and shows wear in some areas. Room was clean and updated. Shower pressure was excellent! Access to parking lot sometimes challenging due to traffic in area. Staff was courteous and professional. No frills accomodation, served my purpose well. Would stay again.

I have never had a more ridiculous hotel experience in my life. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels, am not high maintenance, doesn’t take much to satisfy me. What follows is the story of my 3 night stay of repeated problems, and the staff that liked to argue instead of helping with problems. After checking in, we discovered that our toilet wouldn’t flush. We were heading out for my son’s hockey, informed the front desk of the problem, and headed out. Got back at 10:30pm to discover it wasn’t fixed. Talked to the front desk about it again, and was given a new room at 11pm. Was given only one room key and no sleeve with wifi password for new room. Discovered that the new room was visibly smaller. Calmly asked if I would be given any refund for the visibly smaller room and inconvenience. Was subjected to a 5 minute tirade about how the problem was solved and how hard her day was. Next day went by with no issues. 3rd day woke up to a puddle of water on the floor. Discovered it was from the ac unit. Told the front desk, don’t know if they ever fixed it. Just turned ac off. Son needed to do homework, needed wifi password, so went down to front desk. Subjected to argument that there’s no way we didnt have the password already it’s on the key card sleeve…remember we weren’t given a sleeve with our new room. Later that evening came back to find beds not well made, towels replaced, but not stacked properly on the shelf, so one had fallen off the shelf INTO the toilet.

I just got to the SureStay and they tried slamming me with a bunch of extra fees that weren’t anywhere on their Hotels.com listing. I’d just finished moving, was dead broke from the whole ordeal, and my card didn’t even have room for their greedy add-ons. They flat-out refused to give me back the $281 I’d already paid for the night, leaving me and my two dogs stranded with zero options no other room, no Uber to a friend’s place, nothing. The girl at the desk just kept shrugging and saying “it’s not my problem.” Heartless doesn’t even cover it.” Do not stay here. These people don’t give a damn about their guests.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Booking this hotel has been my biggest regret in my entire vacation! The entire hotel, including our room had such a horrible stench that permeated all our clothes and bags and it’s still lingering, even after 2 whole days! The carpets in the hallways are horribly dirty, the bathrooms and rooms are dirty and dingy, the shower curtains was ridden with mold and smelled of urine, I felt like I could contract something before I left the hell-hole! This experience made me become extra, extra conscious and paranoid about my future hotel choices.
