Room was updated, comfortable beds and staff were very friendly. Pool would have been nice if it was heated and needed a good cleaning. Would definetly recommend and would stay there again if we were in the area again

Chambre telle que vu sur Expedia. Propre, odeur de propre. Bain/douche avec excellente pression. Déjeuner très correcte avec plusieurs choix - gaufrier, oeuf à la coque, toast, bahel, céréales, yogourt... et café! Piscine propre. Nous avons apprécié et y retournerons si nous retournons dans ce coin. Seul bémol, ne parlent pas français.

Nice old school property. Arrival was simple and friendly. The grounds are very well maintained and spacious...the beds were very comfortable. The rooms were renovated not so long ago, so in good shape. The whole place has a nice welcoming vibe where you will find it very easy to relax, perhaps in one of the Muskoka chairs in front of all the rooms. The included breakfast exceeded expectations with boiled eggs, waffles, yogurt, cereal etc..the whole place represents good value for money. Recommended.

Our room was not very clean. There was a dirty towel behind the bathroom door on the floor. The bedsheets were extremely wrinkled and seemed like they were not changed from the last guest. They also had a strange smell. All evening and through the night there was banging noises. Not in any pattern. Just random. Sounded like it was above us but there are no rooms above us. It was not coming from the guest room beside us. I told the person at reception but he said “maybe it’s the wind” it was not windy at all. I explained about it being dirty but he said I’ll check on that. When I told him about the mattress being so hard that my husband and I had a horrible sleep and woke up in pain he said it’s not possible because they were purchased a year ago. Also, when I checked under the mattress for bedbugs as I was worried given the condition of cleanliness there was a big pee stain on the mattress. Very disappointed and did not expect that experience as the photos on Expedia look great.

I stayed at the inn for one night. The staff were friendly, and my first impression of the room was decent. However, the cleanliness was disappointing. I’m 5'2", and even at my height, I could see dust on nearly every surface. The towel and toilet paper holders were oily with visible fingerprints, clearly not wiped down in some time. There was also hair on both the towels and the floor. It’s clear there was a lack of attention to detail in the cleaning. Basic areas that should be cleaned thoroughly between guests were overlooked. Not impressed.

Friendly, courteous staff. Good breakfast, good price this time of year anyhow, everything functioned, room could’ve used a better cleaning, most any room these days are lacking basic cleanliness in my experience. This was mainly the floors, dust/debris/hair/etc. Always bring sandals. Updated bathroom/shower. I’d go back.

The room was dirty, bed, floor, lamp all dirty and not safe for health, I booked for two days and I stayed for only a day and left, I asked the receptinist I he told me that we can not give refund, also I asked that person we are leaving and he said that you booked for two days and leaving day early I'll update the system tomorrow. Is there anyway we can get least a day refund ? Thanks

The room was very clean, it had updated bedding,and furniture and a brand new bathroom. We were late in the season so it was cold out but we could control the temperature inside and it was warm . Front desk personnel Sid was pleasant and helpful. Overall a good experience.

Our check in and check out were both extremely easy and quick. We were greeted both times by a friendly and courteous young man at the front desk. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. There is nothing to complain about at this property!.. We were quite impressed with our stay overall....everything we needed and everything in great condition.

Breakfast was okay but could have been better. Hard boiled eggs were good but the kids would have preferred scrambled eggs and bacon and sausage too. The bagels were not great. We enjoyed the waffles, fruit and yogurt. The room was cute and in good condition We liked the high, slanted ceiling, which was kind of rustic and unusual. The beds were comfy. Overall, we liked the hotel and would come back again.

Minor complaints: We didn't check the listing to see if there was a mircrowave in the room, and there wasn't in any rooms. Sort of have come to expect this as a matter of course. No bedside table or outlets on both sides of the bed, we like to sleep in one bed, and we both prefer bedside lights. Other than that no complaints. Nice spotlessly clean room with windows that open and have screens- something that should be a matter of course everywhere, but which has sadly become a pleasant surprise when we get it.

Property is very old. Furniture and carpeting are worn. We asked for a different room when we arrived becausevthe carpet was dirty looking. We were given another room with LVP flooring,, much better. Room was clean, but definitely new window treatments are needed. Staff very kind and accommodating. Location was good. This property is an ols style motel.

they had. no cancellation policy posted anywhere and despite giving 24 and 48 hrs notice, they charged my credit card anyway. beware they have no cancellation policy despite doing so in advance also expedia was completely useless in advocating for my refund so be careful with all Expedia booking as they will not help

We had stayed there before and everything was good. This time we arrived early to confirm our reservation before; we had business locally. When I asked if I could take a pen from the jar I was rudely informed that these were for guests only. We were checking in a couple of hours. The manager was surly and rude. Then when we went for the breakfast the tables were filling up and I observed other guests taking some items back to their rooms. For curtesy to the other guests waiting for a table we took a small plate with 4 yogurts. The manager accosted us and demanded we give him the items. We complied. All the other staff were excellent but the manager leaves much to be desiired.

I was given a congested room and was asked to upgrade for extra , and was also suggested to book somewhere else if I don’t want. Front office is rude as hell and using cheap tactics to pay customers more. Ended up paying the regular day price

Staff were very pleasant & patient! Helpful with directions . Breakfast was truly sufficient, & well stocked. Quiet, clean. Property was easily accessible to downtown area . Suggestion : No carpets in the rooms, I was informed that non carpeted rooms are for pet friendly , but it may be all round better rooms with no carpets, as not good for people with allergies.

This was the perfect place to stop for a night while on our road trip. While the exterior of the hotel looks dated, the room was perfect. Renovated with plush carpet and new comfortable beds and linens. Full renovated bath with great shower and nice toiletries and towels. Place was spotless. We needed a dog friendly room and the drive up motel style made it a breeze. Lots of grassed areas for our pup. Included breakfast was fine. Sorry that all dishware and utensils are disposable but I get it. Staff were very friendly and efficient and they certainly were proud of their property. It is a drive or a long walk to the beautiful waterfront. Dont miss it. I wish the Ramada was a bit closer to the tourist area for that reason. If you are looking for a place to eat def will need to drive to the main downtown where there are lots fun places to dine. Would def recommend this to those looking for a short affordable stay.

The room was clean, the hotel is well located for a stop between Montreal and Toronto. Lunch is basic, but that's OK. The only downside. In my room, the shower head was installed so that you had to stick to the shower wall to receive the water..

Great property. Renovated bathrooms. All are ground floor rooms so they feel like cottages. Basic breakfast menu. Super-friendly staff. Clean and secure. Location is away from downtown Gananoque and just off the highway. Property is vast with big lawns and benches. Will definitely go back.

Property is very old. Furniture and carpeting are worn. We asked for a different room when we arrived becausevthe carpet was dirty looking. We were given another room with LVP flooring,, much better. Room was clean, but definitely new window treatments are needed. Staff very kind and accommodating. Location was good. This property is an ols style motel.

It's an old-fashioned "Motor Lodge" setup, which was a surprise, but not a problem or a negative. Being able to park 5m from your room door is nice. The room was huge and very recently remodeled to completely modern standards. Breakfast was a little meagre. No meat or potato options. Cereal, bread products and pancakes only. Tim's is across the street if you want a breakfast that's bigger and better.

Pictures on the website do not match the actual rooms, breakfast area and the property areas. Cacking around the shower are cracked. Breakfast tables are dirty and breakfast itself is close to null. I do not recomend this hotel at all.

We had the breakfast and it was good and the housekeeping lady was nice and very helpful. The room was clean and réfreash but minimal in terms of shampoo . However , it is a good value but do not expect answers to yours questions be cause I never received an answer to my request by email .
