We had a delightful stay. The service from the front desk to the wait staff was outstanding and prompt. The hotel is very charming and quiet. As we stayed under covid rules, the sauna and the steam room were not open but the pool was. The pool is is small but just perfect for hotel such as this one. It was a great location for all the historical sites of Puebla.

Es un hotel que tienes que visitar. Es hermoso, lleno de detalles y vida, el spa es buenísimo y el servicio así como la comida son excelentes. El Sueño representa una experiencia realmente memorable. Todo muy bien en general con la habitación Ignacia, solo les dejo algunos temas que desde nuestro juicio, deberían solucionarse por seguridad en primer lugar y porque se trata de una habitación de alto nivel y precio: 1. El desagüe de la regadera. Toda el agua se sale del área de regadera cuando uno se baña, inundando prácticamente todo el baño donde se encuentra el WC. Se vuelve entonces una zona muy peligrosa por resbalosa. 2. Si la tina se llega a desbordar un poco cuando uno se mete, el agua inunda también el baño completo. Deberían considerar un sistema de rebosadero. 3. La tina no tiene agarradera, deberían instalarle una para evitar accidentes. No hay de donde asirse para entrar y salir de ella. 4. La distribución de la cama a nosotros en particular nos parece incomodísima. Cómo está esquinada y además ocupan semanarios en lugar de buroes, obviamente no puedes tener cómodo acceso a lo que lo que pongas encima, como un libro, el celular o un vaso de agua, ya que están a una altura de 1.5 mts. sobre el suelo y además por la colocación de la cama, quedan casi a la mitad de la misma. La cabecera está despegada del colchón, varios centímetros, se can las almohadas para atrás durante la noche. El colchón nos pareció también demasiado duro para tipo y nivel de hotel.

La habitación Toña nunca sirvió el jacuzzi queríamos usarlo después de los paseos aventaba agua para afuera todos los días les decíamos en recepción y nunca lo arreglaron también la televisión prendía sola en la noche y se desactivaba sola iban a revisar y al rato seguía igual mucho dinero para esta master suite no valió la pena una mala experiencia

We really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and comfortable with modern amenities. The staff was very friendly and a lot of them spoke English. They also helped us with our Spanish! The spa was very relaxing and everything was very reasonably priced. Great internet in the common areas; just not in our room itself. The pool is small, but very clean and nice. Delicious food at the restaurant and at breakfast. Wonderful place!

I found the hotel was overpriced for what it offered. The shower didn't work well and the pool was tiny and unheated (it's supposed to be a spa!). On the plus side, it included parking, the location was good, and the staff friendly.

This is a hidden gem in Puebla. In the heart of Zocalo, the centre of Puebla history. We’ve stayed at El Sueño twice now and it has been our favourite place to stay. The rooms are comfortable, clean, the breakfast is warm and delicious. Service is impeccable! Everyone is so accommodating and willing to help and answer any questions or make suggestions. We love the history, architecture and comfort of the hotel.

El restaurante es caro. Pero tiene buena cocina. No hubo forma de cerrar por dentro mi habitación, se atoró la cadena por estar mal diseñada. El personal fue de mucha ayuda. La habitación tenía restos de cacahuates. La habitación Sor Juana tiene mucha luz, se necesitan cortinas. El hotel, siendo un lugar muy bonito, se nota descuidado. Hace falta personal que le dedique tiempo a mantenimiento y mejoras.

La habitación se veia vieja y un poco sucia El aire acondicionado no servía, el control de la tele tampoco, marqué a recepción por ayuda y me ignoraron, mandé WhatsApp a recepción y me ignoraron... no había agua caliente.. definitivamente estoy arrepentido de haber ido, las imágenes de la página mostraban algo totalmente diferente... pésimo servicio, pésima experiencia..

La ubicacion es excelente y el personal muy amable. Sin embargo, en mi experiencia la habitacion no fue como esperaba basada en las fotos. Me toco la que esta en la entrada (Maria Antonieta) y todo el tiempo escuchas los ruidos del jardin y pasillo. Si lo que buscas es descansar, si afecta la experiencia porque no lo consigues del todo.
La ubicacion es excelente y el personal muy amable. Sin embargo, en mi experiencia la habitacion no fue como esperaba basada en las fotos. Me toco la que esta en la entrada (Maria Antonieta) y todo el tiempo escuchas los ruidos del jardin y pasillo. Si lo que buscas es descansar, si afecta la experiencia porque no lo consigues del todo.

Personal muy amable. Lindas las instalaciones y las habitaciones. Buen servicio. Sin embargo el aire acondicionado falló, empezó a tirar agua y casi cae sobre una lámpara junto a la cama y le cayó encima el agua a mi celular. Afortunadamente no le psó nada por que me di cuenta a tiempo. La solución que nos ofrecieron fue un ventilador. El personal estaba dispuesto a ayudar siempre. Otro detalle es que en un momento empezó a oler mucho a caño en la habitación. Se supone que las Master Suites tenían Jacuzzi pero era tina de hidromasaje de tamaño normal y los orificios de la tina para el masaje en la espalda no funcionaban. Ah la alberca pequeña pero con agua fría. No se nos antojó usarla. En general bien, fue un canje de noche gratis para conocer el hotel, pero no pagaría los $4,000 pesos que según cuesta ese tipo de habitación.

The hotel was perfectly reasonable and our room (junior suite) was on the roof so was quiet for most of the stay. The stairs to the room were unlit and we couldn’t find the switch. We asked the staff on the first night to switch it on but it wasn’t switched on on the second night, so not ideal. We had to ask for our free drink and when it was given we weren’t allowed - it seemed - to drink it at the bar but instead had to have it in our room. The room itself was spacious and clean, with very good access to the local sights.

The location was excellent for walking in the Zocalo area, the staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were very good. Our room was located downstairs with no outdoor views so it was a bit dark, but overall OK.

Nos encanto el hotel, tenía dos camas y en una de ellas ya estaba desgastado y se sentía el hueco que deja una persona y fue incómodo dormir

Fui un par de días y me encantó el lugar, la decoración, el lugar. Mi cuarto Frida fue hermoso. No desayuné en el hotel pero si comí en el restaurant, todo muy rico. El personal muy amable, muy atentos todos en todo momento. El internet no es muy estable, para descansar varios días es perfecto ;) Volvería sin duda alguna, super bien ubicado, a 1 cuadra de Catedral y de la plaza.

First time here, came for a wedding. Staff was warm, friendly, and very helpful. The architecture of the building was beautiful and Unique. The zocalo is a beautiful area and we were lucky enough to be there when they had decorated for dia de los muertas. We had a wonderful stay overall!

This is a hidden gem in Puebla. In the heart of Zocalo, the centre of Puebla history. We’ve stayed at El Sueño twice now and it has been our favourite place to stay. The rooms are comfortable, clean, the breakfast is warm and delicious. Service is impeccable! Everyone is so accommodating and willing to help and answer any questions or make suggestions. We love the history, architecture and comfort of the hotel.

La habitación se veia vieja y un poco sucia El aire acondicionado no servía, el control de la tele tampoco, marqué a recepción por ayuda y me ignoraron, mandé WhatsApp a recepción y me ignoraron... no había agua caliente.. definitivamente estoy arrepentido de haber ido, las imágenes de la página mostraban algo totalmente diferente... pésimo servicio, pésima experiencia..

Almohadas y Cama cómoda, buena salida de agua caliente en regadera, muy rápida la respuesta del personal por WhatsApp, servicio de las masajistas excelente!! caminando a todos los restaurantes y bares del centro, catedral a unas cuadras, cuenta con estacionamiento, techos altos habitación fresca, wifi en todo momento

The hotel was perfectly reasonable and our room (junior suite) was on the roof so was quiet for most of the stay. The stairs to the room were unlit and we couldn’t find the switch. We asked the staff on the first night to switch it on but it wasn’t switched on on the second night, so not ideal. We had to ask for our free drink and when it was given we weren’t allowed - it seemed - to drink it at the bar but instead had to have it in our room. The room itself was spacious and clean, with very good access to the local sights.

The location was excellent for walking in the Zocalo area, the staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were very good. Our room was located downstairs with no outdoor views so it was a bit dark, but overall OK.

We loved our stay! The staff was so friendly and the design of the space is breathtaking. The room was spacious and comfortable, and there was so much attention to detail in every corner to surprise and delight you. The drinks and food is amazing, and like the hotel, are works of art unto themselves. We plan to come back very soon!

El restaurante es caro. Pero tiene buena cocina. No hubo forma de cerrar por dentro mi habitación, se atoró la cadena por estar mal diseñada. El personal fue de mucha ayuda. La habitación tenía restos de cacahuates. La habitación Sor Juana tiene mucha luz, se necesitan cortinas. El hotel, siendo un lugar muy bonito, se nota descuidado. Hace falta personal que le dedique tiempo a mantenimiento y mejoras.

Sin duda un hotel para relajarse, decoración adecuada para el concepto, muy cómoda y amplia la habitación, el desayuno muy rico. Caminando llegas al centro histórico que huele a ponche de frutas en diciembre.

Breakfast was great. The Huevos tiraditos were a novelty for me that I enjoyed. The ambiance, decoration and architecture are charming and comfy. The location was perfect, right downtown with most of attracting at walking distance. However, the shower cleanliness was bad. Even after reporting it, the mold in some areas were still there. When we checked in, the overall room appearance was very good, but the second day, the beds were badly made, as if someone had sat or laid over them. I hope the management pays attention to these items because this nice place can do better.

The hotel is nice, however is lacking basics needs. Hotel is lacking a coffe maker in the room. Rooms and hotel are clean but could be better. Hotel is at a nice walking distance from main Zocalo. I am an Expedia Platinum and no welcome drink was offered. During breakfast, no basics such as sweet bread, beans or Green juice had in the morning. Overall I give them a solid 7 in a scale 1-10.
