The room was great; view was even better. Staff was extremely great. Missed not having a swim up bar. All the food was the best I have had at an all-inclusive, the only con was having to make reservations for all the restaurants weeks ahead by phone. Would rather have just walk in. There were always tables available.

We really enjoyed our stay. The service is top notch. Food and drinks were great. It’s a smaller resort but it never felt over crowded which was nice. The infinity pools are awesome. Would recommend going to the Pergola for dinner, best restaurant at resort.

The hotel needs some renovations. We had a very nice room, but it lacked any technological advantages like the usb outlets working, a bathroom fan, radio outlets that work on a new iPhone or a good music stereo/alarm, shower that got warmer than lukewarm, etc. There’s also a lack of privacy with their front windows that don’t have covers or shades and people can look in at any time. The view from our oceanfront room was gorgeous but the beach was too dangerous for anyone to be permitted in the water unless walking to the neighboring hotel. We got really messed over by their charter service when we arrived. If you choose to book with them, don’t bother emailing because they won’t respond until the time is up to make a reservation (no less than 24 hrs isn’t going to work). And watch out at the airport because you can get sucked into none timeshare presentations when you just need a ride to your hotel. It’s not only in the first room, but second room after that too. The gym was on the smaller side but had a good selection of weights, machines, treadmills, etc. it was clean too. The spa treatments we had (scrub and massage) were nice. The spa center itself needs upgrades. The locker room isn’t great and the waiting area with spa/pool is just ok.

The staff was extremely pleasant, the line of communication was phenomenal before I even got to the resort, upon arrival I was greeted with a drink and a cold towl I extremely loved that. Now before I get into the great things I'll express my dislikes. The none of the main elevators weren't working, the alcoholic beverages weren't the best, and the food was mostly cold and most of the time I had to request for it to be made fresh. Or if I had forgot its like I ate a little bit of what I got and left it there which I hate to do because its wasting food unfortunately. But on to the good things. I specifically would like to recognize Marco (he serves inside the breakfast area and also at the restaurant by the pool) & Carlos (he handles the egg sationton outside during breakfast) both gentlemen provided great customer service. I would like to recognize Gabby from the spa she was so pleasant and kind and the service from her was on point, my room was phenomenal I had a wonderful ocean view, the cleanliness, the toiletries they offer, they actually come clean your room and do well, they make sure they stop each room to see if you need more water, tows etc. Everything was great in my opinion and I would truly stay here again and definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pros: - Amazing food at the restaurants - Even better food if you order room service - Room service and restaurant staff were great - Infinity pools overlooking the ocean were unique and had great poolside service - Clean rooms and clean facilities overall - Good drinks. Beer served in cans. - Easy access to excursions Cons: - Air conditioning in the rooms are okay-ish. Recommend bringing a fan. - No real “good” air conditioning on the rest of the resort. Most have at least one spot you can use to cool off. - If it rains, it gets boring fast. Poolside bars close and the Sports Bar opens at 3 pm. The only place left to order drinks is room service. - No swim-up bar. There is a 3rd pool that no one uses that is just kind of in the way. This pool could have a swim up bar but just…doesn’t. - The stage for the entertainment is in front of this useless pool. The seating for the entertainment is in a thin semi circle around this area sandwiched between the other two pools on a downward slope. There are seats behind the entertainment if you like looking at butts I guess. - There is a weird conference room where they can also do shows but no one could dim the lights. - No one gave us a tour of the resort when we arrived. There were some features in the room that a brief tour would have helped with. - The lobby is outside and kind of unsheltered from the elements. When it rained they were shuffling people into the employee area to get them checked in.

We loved everything about The Marquis. They promise and deliver a relaxing experience. Food was very good, staff excellent. Service was excellent and unobtrusive. Evening shows were fun and ended by 10. Enjoyed daily stretching class at the beautiful spa. Perfect place for relaxing get away.

This is a great resort for rest and relaxation as its beach front with a beautiful infinity pool. There is some entertainment but not a whole lot if you’re looking for more things to do outside of enjoying the pool. Rooms were a decent size with an amazing view. Food wasn’t bad but limited. I wish there were more bars around to get drinks. I either had to go to a restaurant or track a sever down. The one bar they did have didn’t open until 3pm.

If you’ve been to other all-inclusive resorts, you know what separates a great one from an average one, and unfortunately Marquis Los Cabos falls into the latter. At check-in, we weren’t given any information about the property or the QR code needed for restaurant reservations and room service, so we had no idea where anything was or how things worked. The front desk wasn’t helpful, and when I asked about the advertised $75 resort credit and bottle of wine, I was told it would be in the room- it wasn’t. The check-in process felt very tip-driven, even when help wasn’t needed. The property feels dated, with chipped flooring, worn walls, and visible maintenance areas. There are four elevators from the rooms to the main areas, but at least one was out of order our entire stay, and the others were extremely slow. When it rains, water pools everywhere on the walkways. The infinity pools are beautiful, and the pool staff were friendly and attentive, but drink service doesn’t start until 10:30 AM and food until 11:30 AM. There’s only one walk-up bar, and it opens later in the day. Dining options are limited, and the main buffet has long waits and a very slow, inefficient setup. Food is fine, not great. Our room was okay, but the thermostat was stuck at one temperature, an outlet was falling apart, and there’s an odd open window from the bathroom to the bedroom. Overall, for the price, I wouldn’t return.

However, a storm during our stay exposed some issues with the property’s infrastructure—there was poor drainage, multiple leaks throughout the building, and about 2 inches of standing water on the balcony, making it unusable for most of our stay. We were only able to enjoy the balcony for one day. The storm also made it difficult to navigate the property, as the main elevators were out of service. Guests had to rely on the service elevator or stairs to get around, which was inconvenient. The food on the property was average overall, though Sakke and Pergola stood out as the best dining options. The pizza from Pergola was especially delicious! Unfortunately, we weren’t able to enjoy it beyond the second day due to the weather.

My experience at this facility was very disappointing. The front desk staff were not polite or accommodating at all — it felt like the level of service depended on whether or not you were giving tips. Several areas of the property looked poorly maintained, with damage simply painted over instead of properly fixed. The pool had visible trash in it, and when requesting assistance, the staff’s attitude was unhelpful and dismissive. Overall, the customer service and upkeep of the facility were far below expectations. I would not recommend staying here

The property is great. Views are wonderful and staff is friendly and helpful. The only complaint is the room has a lot of moisture and smells like mold/mildew and with the moisture everything seems to be damp.

Después de llamar dos veces para decir que era nuestro aniversario, al llegar nos pusieron en una habitación de handicap, después de la queja nos cambiaron a otra en donde una vez dormidos me cayó una cucaracha en la cara y del susto me caí al suelo produciéndome una lesión que me hizo adelantar la salida del hotel una noche antes, claramente no fumigan. El hotel no me ofreció ninguna compensación por todas las molestias en un viaje de aniversario y tan solo se comprometió a devolverme una noche que no ocupé y que estoy esperando que efectivamente lo hagan

Everything here was awesome. The view from the hotel lobby and the rooms were breathtaking. The food were plentiful and delicious.The place was very clean. Rooms, the pool, activity areas, the bars and restaurants, very well maintained. However, the best part were the employees of this property. Very courteous and attentive. I would dare say that the people here at Marquis gave the best customer service we experienced compared to any place in the world we visited. The room was amazing, the food was great and room service was fast, the staff members were accommodating to every need!! My only complaint was the pool was very dirty, even after requests to clean. The patio area was covered in bugs and every time we opened the door the bugs were everywhere.

The property was spotless, and staff were wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would definitely return. It never felt crowded, food was fresh and delicious, and the rooms were very large and clean. Although you can't swim in the ocean, the layout of the pools and lounge chairs still allows you to enjoy ocean views. The staff all went above and beyond to make sure everything was great; we didn't have one negative experience during our stay. Would definitely return!!

The property is great. Views are wonderful and staff is friendly and helpful. The only complaint is the room has a lot of moisture and smells like mold/mildew and with the moisture everything seems to be damp.

The hotel needs some renovations. We had a very nice room, but it lacked any technological advantages like the usb outlets working, a bathroom fan, radio outlets that work on a new iPhone or a good music stereo/alarm, shower that got warmer than lukewarm, etc. There’s also a lack of privacy with their front windows that don’t have covers or shades and people can look in at any time. The view from our oceanfront room was gorgeous but the beach was too dangerous for anyone to be permitted in the water unless walking to the neighboring hotel. We got really messed over by their charter service when we arrived. If you choose to book with them, don’t bother emailing because they won’t respond until the time is up to make a reservation (no less than 24 hrs isn’t going to work). And watch out at the airport because you can get sucked into none timeshare presentations when you just need a ride to your hotel. It’s not only in the first room, but second room after that too. The gym was on the smaller side but had a good selection of weights, machines, treadmills, etc. it was clean too. The spa treatments we had (scrub and massage) were nice. The spa center itself needs upgrades. The locker room isn’t great and the waiting area with spa/pool is just ok.

I thought I would get a room with pool in my casita like pictured but I got a room with a pool with no privacy. Right in front is the chairs for the guest and the next public pool. My room was also infested with these tiny bugs on the counters crawling through my toiletry bag as well as bugs on the floors. The AC also had this weird smell so everyday ii just wanted to get out my room. Sucks I spent this much money for a casita. Also non of the inclusive meals are that great, tastes frozen and I wouldn't come back. The views, property and the staff is very friendly though!

I would give it more stars if I could. This was our third time going, and we're already planning our fourth. It's SO relaxing, and beautiful. The staff is amazing. The property is stunning. We were upgraded to a Casita and loved it, even if it didn't have an ocean view. It was huge and very private. The food is the best. The drinks are wonderful. The gym is big and well appointed. I can't recommend this enough.

If you’ve been to other all-inclusive resorts, you know what separates a great one from an average one, and unfortunately Marquis Los Cabos falls into the latter. At check-in, we weren’t given any information about the property or the QR code needed for restaurant reservations and room service, so we had no idea where anything was or how things worked. The front desk wasn’t helpful, and when I asked about the advertised $75 resort credit and bottle of wine, I was told it would be in the room- it wasn’t. The check-in process felt very tip-driven, even when help wasn’t needed. The property feels dated, with chipped flooring, worn walls, and visible maintenance areas. There are four elevators from the rooms to the main areas, but at least one was out of order our entire stay, and the others were extremely slow. When it rains, water pools everywhere on the walkways. The infinity pools are beautiful, and the pool staff were friendly and attentive, but drink service doesn’t start until 10:30 AM and food until 11:30 AM. There’s only one walk-up bar, and it opens later in the day. Dining options are limited, and the main buffet has long waits and a very slow, inefficient setup. Food is fine, not great. Our room was okay, but the thermostat was stuck at one temperature, an outlet was falling apart, and there’s an odd open window from the bathroom to the bedroom. Overall, for the price, I wouldn’t return.

My experience at this facility was very disappointing. The front desk staff were not polite or accommodating at all — it felt like the level of service depended on whether or not you were giving tips. Several areas of the property looked poorly maintained, with damage simply painted over instead of properly fixed. The pool had visible trash in it, and when requesting assistance, the staff’s attitude was unhelpful and dismissive. Overall, the customer service and upkeep of the facility were far below expectations. I would not recommend staying here

Beautiful property and food was pretty good. Staff was friendly in the restaurants, but service was pretty slow most days. Buffet breakfast was good and staff very friendly! Pool waiters were almost nonexistent. Waited and waited and waited for drinks for our our group of 10. We only saw 2 servers for both pools and they had to go quite a ways to the bar and back all day. Need more servers or more bars close to the pool…we could get our drinks ourselves if that were the case. I’ve never seen a set up like that before and I’ve been to lots of AI resorts in Mexico. Also alcohol is waaaaay watered down. The tequila shots were not Don Julio…no way. You could drink all day and feel like you had water all day! However, the drinks at the lobby bar were pretty good!!! We’re also used to the staff greeting you with a smile and a “buenas Dias”when they walk by you, but not here. This is the first bad review I’ve wrote after traveling Mexico for over 30 years. I just hope they get it together because it’s a beautiful place! Unfortunately, we won’t return.

In terms of value, you can definitely get the same experience in others of Mexico for less. The food was good, the views impeccable, and the staff/service was okay. Ive had more attentive staff in regions like Cancun and Puerto Vallarta. They often passed us by in pool service, not fast with refills at dining, and alot of the offered dining options were closed 2 days of the trip with no clear itinerary to confirm or plan.

The staff was very attentive and always courteous. Adriana, Jose, Glenda just to name a few were exemtional. The food was very good. Lunch at the pool was always fresh. A pool bar would be a nice touch.

Excellent resort! Staff was friendly, food was great. The views were incredible. The beach is not swimmable, so if that is what you're looking for you might look elsewhere. One of the smaller resorts we have stayed at and that was perfect. We stayed in an oceanfront casita with plunge pool - it was like having a condo right on the ocean. Room amenities were great as well. Ride from the airport was 20 minutes or so. Everything felt completely safe and there were no travel issues. My only (small) complaint - not a lot of shade on the property - bring lots of sunscreen!

Loved Marquis Los Cabos property. Beautiful and well maintained grounds. Spectacular views of the ocean. All rooms have an ocean view. The infinity pools were great as were the staff at the pools. Food was my only issue with this property. Breakfast and lunch were great but the dinners were not as good. On multiple nights our food was cold. Not what we expected for such a nice resort. The best dinner of the week was at Sakke. The other issue we had was checking in to our room. Our room was not ready until around 5 pm. We thought that was quite late.

Our stay at the Marquis Los Cabos was amazing! The restaurants on site are delicious, in room service menu has a good variety. The true shining star of this resort aside from the view and the overall design is the staff. They are all extremely kind, polite and go above and beyond. To name a few of our favourites: Bryan, Regilo, Alessandra, Fidel, Martin, Marco, Eduardo. The resort property is absolutely STUNNING. The light, natural, and clean design really boasts the views that this hotel has to offer. We stayed in one of the Casitas with a plunge pool and it did not disappoint. The only downfall was when we got hit with a tropical storm we did have some issues with leaking in the bathroom. But everything was dealt with and fixed up within 12hrs. We didn’t grind the leak until 12am so we asked that they do a quick fix and return in the morning. Which they kindly obliged. The convenience of this location only about 25 minutes from the airport, 25 minutes to San Jose ( definitely a must see), and about 45ish minutes to Cabo. We will definitely returning to this resort in the future!

Beautiful aesthetic around the property! The combination of bright plaster and natural woods was stunning. The pool pebble color matched the ocean color. Property offered amazing views of the ocean and situated along a beautiful stretch of beach. The staff were amazing and very attentive. It would have been nice to have one of the pools designated as a quiet area vs another for those looking for more of a party atmosphere. It was a little hit and miss as to whether you would find a quiet area to relax. Otherwise great stay!

Staff super friendly and hotel was very clean. They probably shouldn’t have been spraying for bugs or at least explained what they were spraying for that was kind of weird. It’s about 20 min drive if you want more nightlife not much to do around the hotel. Good was decent- the high end restaurant was wonderful though. I would recommend this hotel if you’re looking to relax - spa services were great as well

The room was great; view was even better. Staff was extremely great. Missed not having a swim up bar. All the food was the best I have had at an all-inclusive, the only con was having to make reservations for all the restaurants weeks ahead by phone. Would rather have just walk in. There were always tables available.

Marquis is a beautiful property with stunning outdoor ambiance. The food was good overall, though not outstanding. The clear highlight was the Teppanyaki restaurant—definitely one of the best meals we had and our chef was VERY FUN and ENTERTAINING. Skip the Italian pastas at the Italian place and go for the salmon or steak instead. The drinks were very weak and watered down, which was disappointing, but the service throughout the resort was excellent. Our room was spotless, and housekeeping did a fantastic job each day. The pool area was lovely and we never had trouble finding chairs, unless you were particular about location. The price was great for a quick getaway with girlfriends, and I would stay again despite a few shortcomings. We also booked spa treatments at check-in—a mini facial and a 60-minute massage—and both were wonderful. Highly recommend the spa experience! We enjoyed the entertainment each night, DJ, live music and dancing but if you want BIG nightlife, go downtown.

Rooms smell like mildew and mold, we had to change rooms twice. Reservations necessary for every restaurant however you can’t make a reservation in advance so impossible to get into a decent one. Food altogether is mediocre at best. Elevators don’t work many days. Requested something special for my husbands birthday for the room and nothing was done for either his birthday or mine.

We really enjoyed our stay. The service is top notch. Food and drinks were great. It’s a smaller resort but it never felt over crowded which was nice. The infinity pools are awesome. Would recommend going to the Pergola for dinner, best restaurant at resort.

Pros: EXCELLENT STAFF. Stunning property with views of the ocean. Cons: everywhere has swarms of flies. I could not enjoy the pool because of the number of flies. There were also flies on the omelette station and all the food out in the open. The food options were very limited. Some spots were either not open or had an up-charge. However, I was disappointed that upon arrival the staff immediately encouraged my boyfriend to pay an additional $600 to “upgrade” to a room that was essentially the same as the one we had already booked, only slightly closer to the pool, and without any added amenities to justify the extra cost. I was also surprised that the signature onsite restaurant required an additional $140 per person, despite the resort being advertised as all-inclusive, especially considering we had already paid $5,000 for a four-night stay.

The staff is fantastic and the vibe is fun. The location is great, with a number of infinity pools right on the beach. The rooms themselves are also surprisingly nice. Even their base rooms are massive and have great ocean views. All food and drink is great, with the glaring exception of dinners. Lunches are excellent with fun selection. Dinners are.. pretty mediocre. They try to be unique/inventive but so much falls flat. We did not try the paid restaurant. Finally, the resort overall feels just a little dated. It could use some TLC to make it feel premium again. We'd definitely recommend the resort, but would keep expectations for dinners low.

If you’ve been to other all-inclusive resorts, you know what separates a great one from an average one, and unfortunately Marquis Los Cabos falls into the latter. At check-in, we weren’t given any information about the property or the QR code needed for restaurant reservations and room service, so we had no idea where anything was or how things worked. The front desk wasn’t helpful, and when I asked about the advertised $75 resort credit and bottle of wine, I was told it would be in the room- it wasn’t. The check-in process felt very tip-driven, even when help wasn’t needed. The property feels dated, with chipped flooring, worn walls, and visible maintenance areas. There are four elevators from the rooms to the main areas, but at least one was out of order our entire stay, and the others were extremely slow. When it rains, water pools everywhere on the walkways. The infinity pools are beautiful, and the pool staff were friendly and attentive, but drink service doesn’t start until 10:30 AM and food until 11:30 AM. There’s only one walk-up bar, and it opens later in the day. Dining options are limited, and the main buffet has long waits and a very slow, inefficient setup. Food is fine, not great. Our room was okay, but the thermostat was stuck at one temperature, an outlet was falling apart, and there’s an odd open window from the bathroom to the bedroom. Overall, for the price, I wouldn’t return.

The best part of this hotel is the pool and the spectacular ocean waves that crash in front of you when you are in the pool. The pool chairs were comfy but dirty. The rest of the hotel is run down and needs a face lift. Our room was meh (ocean front, king bed) with outdated decorations, torn chairs on the balcony and the weirdest layout for the bathroom. There is a shear curtain that separates the bedroom from the bathroom so there is no privacy while using the toilet. Also, you can here the traffic from the street out side the room - 4 lanes, lots of cars. Not the best noise to hear when you're trying to relax by a beach. The AC in the room worked great and the bed was comfy. The food and service were meh. The best thing we ate was the pizza. The restaurants look tired and so did the servers!

The Marquis is a beautiful beachfront hotel. I booked a king Junior suite and the room was very spacious and had everything we needed, including a mini bar. The few things that I feel people should know before booking this hotel are the following: If you like to swim in the ocean, this might not be the place for you, as the water is not swimmable. The only option is you can walk about 10-15 minutes towards The Hilton. Some of the restaurants require a reservation for dinner. I suggest you contact the concierge as soon as you book so that you can begin booking your dinners/activities. They aren’t the quickest at responding so sometimes you have to keep following up. If you wait until last minute, you might be limited on dinner options because the restaurants do fill up. I highly recommend dinner at Pergola. That was our favorite restaurant along with in room dining! Room service was excellent! Lastly, the drinks and food poolside took a REALLY long time, so just be prepared to wait. We saw a lot of people with their YETIs and would keep refilling them. I should have done the same! Besides that, the food overall is pretty good. The coffee shop drinks are delish and the service from the staff makes the whole experience worth it! The views of the ocean are breathtaking and the entire resort is very clean and beautiful. Don’t forget to take cash for tips, if you like to tip, as the staff works very hard!
