The pool was closed and their breakfast process is infuriating. You can come down at anytime and have to wait 15 minutes because there is not enough seating room. The breakfast was also quite poor. Our first room, the ac was not working and e got moved to a new room. Guess what? Same scenario. Spend sometime upgrading your amenities. This is probably one of the worst hotels I have stayed in

The breakfast was awful, the eggs were ice cold, hashbrowns were soggy and cold. Was not a very good selection. Full charge was still being charged when the pool was not available for use due to renovations. That's disappointing. The amount of large trucks in the parking lot took up space for customer parking. 18 wheelers shouldn't be in the same parking.

Stayed 4 nights. Had no issues. My gf liked the keurig in the room. Tim Horton’s across the street which is nice. Also attached to a gas station. Parking lot is very rough.

A place to sleep and nothing else. Breakfast is challenge, never stocked and mediocre. Pool was under “renovation” but never disclosed during the booking. AC barely worked. I wouldn’t stay here again.

We had to be transferred to a different room because I felt like bugs were crawling all over me and i was itching... My husband was sleeping in the other bed and I slept with the kids and he felt the same... We were moved to a different room and the issue with the bed was resolved but they put us in a room with a landline that wasn't working. We spent 11 days and for the entire time the breakfast options were mostly the same so you can imagine getting tired of that. We are home now and my husband has what looks like a fungus on his arm which he suspects came from the room with the itchy sheets. Safe ro say we wont stay there again although we liked the convenience of having a gas station on the property but the other issues trumped that 1 plus

i was eaten up by bed bugs and i woke up to find the bugs all over me onthe bed. was too late and i spent the night itching and scratching all night and beyond the next day. i reported the issue and the front desk sent someone up to my room. he saw everything and made a report of it. they changed my room.

When we moved in, I moved the beds closer together. The floor was dirty under the bed with pieces of chips. The floor was not washed in absolutely the entire room, perhaps with the exception of the bathroom. Even the next day and the day after, they made the bed, and pieces of chips continued to lie on the floor. We wet the napkin and wiped the floor a little and were horrified at how dirty the napkin became. We will never return here. Booked because of a good experience at the Ramada Calgary of the same hotel chain. But now I will never set foot in a hotel called Super8 in Ontario.

Front desk attendant was rude when checking in. Told me my card didn’t work even though it worked fine when I did it myself. Held on to my card even though I asked many time to get to card back. Beds were not comfortable. We’re told we would have a crib but the front desk said there was none. Didn’t even check into getting one for us. We went and saw the cleaning staff ourself to see if they saw a crib. Cleaning staff was great. Found a crib and blankets for our 6 month old. The fridge was great. Tv was very small. Remote kept falling apart.

Booked the king suite room. When checked in the hotel didn’t even say anything. We didn’t notice until went to room. I went to front desk and they say no king room. And offered $12 credit and promised the king room on second night. The 2nd night , front desk said no king suite room then come to say it wasn’t promised yesterday.Didn’t get the type of room as booked. Very disorganized and dishonest.

Got separated from my friend on our flights. After flying for 28 hours she arrived 5 hours before I did. Despite having the booking number, confirmation and the room already being paid for she was not allowed to check into the room and had to book another room as the booking was in my name and not hers. Expedia could not get ahold of the hotel to help rectify this issue. Front desk candies are good though.

Had a long, hard day of travel with delayed and cancelled flights. Called the hotel to let them know we would not be in till approximately 2am.(This is for 2 prepaid rooms). Was informed that was too bad, if we couldn't make it before 2am we couldn't check in and that information was on their website. The airlines did what they could and we made it by 1:45am. However, their total lack of concern for people that experience difficulties in today's travel market and willingness to strand 4 travellers at 2am tells me they are not a company to do ANY business with. Will definitely NOT book again.

We first requested to check out 30 minutes late they refused later there were some negligence from their side which they know suddenly they changed their policies and allowed me within 15 minutes to stay for one hour extra. This Hotel is located in a very nice area, attached to one of the cheapest gas stations in Toronto and very close to a lot of shopping and dining options. Wouldn’t be very ideal if you’re planning on going downtown Toronto but if you’re going to canadas wonderland or surrounding area I would recommend this hotel.

The pool was closed and their breakfast process is infuriating. You can come down at anytime and have to wait 15 minutes because there is not enough seating room. The breakfast was also quite poor. Our first room, the ac was not working and e got moved to a new room. Guess what? Same scenario. Spend sometime upgrading your amenities. This is probably one of the worst hotels I have stayed in

Breakfast was terrible , food was frequently empty. Dining room was filthy tables were not cleaned and all the staff was sitting in the back room goofing out and talking. I asked to speak to the manager serval times over my visit and they were never available and never got back to me. Our room was dirty and missing office chairs to sit at table and desk. Bathroom was dirty, and despite the front desk assurance they would talk to staff and address our concerns about the breakfast worker not working and the dining room be filthy , the next day was the same and the next day after that, and the manager was still not available. To top it off the curtains don’t fully close and their is a truck fuel station next door so light came into room all night and sounds of trucks comming in and out all night does not all you to sleep because the room was not sound proofed. Unless you have no other option do not stay here

The breakfast was awful, the eggs were ice cold, hashbrowns were soggy and cold. Was not a very good selection. Full charge was still being charged when the pool was not available for use due to renovations. That's disappointing. The amount of large trucks in the parking lot took up space for customer parking. 18 wheelers shouldn't be in the same parking.

The hotel room was clean and very nice overall. However the main issue was the breakfast buffet. I emphasize with the hotel staff as the breakfast setup is extremely limited in terms of real estate to accommodate all of the guests. Tried twice to get breakfast and both times they were out of almost everything including space to get the breakfast or the seating. Guests who were inconsiderate of others and loaded their plates, exhausting the available food contributed to the issue both times. I’ve stayed at other Super 8s and never had such a bad breakfast experience before.

A place to sleep and nothing else. Breakfast is challenge, never stocked and mediocre. Pool was under “renovation” but never disclosed during the booking. AC barely worked. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Everything was great…room was spotless and plenty of hot water…quite and staff very polite and helpful when you have a question and breakfast was good…will definately stay there again when in the area 😀

When we booked, the website showed a beautiful pool, but when we arrived, it was closed, and it has been under maintenance for months with no explanation. The staff didn't warn us before check-in. It wasn't until we asked where it was located that they told us. As a matter of fact from the moment I checked in until the day I left, it felt like the staff was actively trying to ignore the guests. I had to wait over 20 minutes just to check in because no one was at the counter. When someone finally appeared, there was no apology for the wait. As for the breakfast there was zero sense of urgency for replacing items as they were all gone when I arrived. It felt like being on display while eating at tables in front lobby. At least there was another dining location down the hall that another guest helped me to find. No mention of the exterior construction on the website when booking. Resulting in construction dust all over the car. We were placed in a second floor suite overlooking the steel roof. If I have been made aware of any or all of the aforementioned issues I would have booked elsewhere. I will never recommend this hotel to anybody I know.
