I stayed here with a friend for just one night. At first glance we were a bit shocked from the hotels outside appearance. But our rooms were really clean and cozy. We had a very good night and could even leave our car at the parking lot after check-out for another two hours to explore the city of North Bay. The breakfast area was undergoing a renovation. So no chance to get any breakfast at all or even a coffee. But there is a coffee machine in the rooms and several coffee shops just around the corner. Nothing could beat the price!

Check in/out was smooth. Front desk staff was helpful polite and eager to please. Great location close to downtown but not overly busy of an area. Being downtown still was very quiet at night. Walking distance to the beach waterfront. Parking convenient directly in front of your room assuming you are on the bottom floor. You pay for what you get. The room was clean, washroom was clean but definitely seemed dated. Bed was extremely comfortable which made up for the datedness of the room. Overall good stay and would again and would recommend if looking for a short term night or two stay

This is a quaint and quiet budget stay. The room was spotless, fresh, tasteful decor, with microwave, tv and fridge and AC that all worked. It is off the main road so even though it is downtown North Bay, it is unusually quiet. We were greeted by the manager, Preet, who was professional, kind and hard working. I would recommend this place to anyone seeking an affordable room that is clean and pleasing.

The room was fine other than the Tv barely worked However the property was very dirty. Cigarette butts everywhere. Cups set out by every door filled with old butts. When we went to go back to our room we have to get by 2 drunks sitting in the outside hallway. Not a nice place to stay

So I want to start by saying that the guy at the desk was very friendly. I also want to admit that it was the cheapest room on Expedia when I searched for a room. The positive: the bed itself was clean and reasonably comfortable. The mini-fridge, the tv, the Keurig and all the accessories were fine. But the room itself had a heavy mildew smell, there were badly repaired chips in the wall, floor tiles in bathroom were peeling up, the floor had a wave to it (I was on the 2nd floor). In short, there's a reason it's priced below other hotel/motel rooms. I'm not telling you to stay away, but lower your expectations.

Took my shoes off to find out carpet was all wet in the room. Went to take a shower in the morning and the faucet did not work so no water in the shower. The hotel does not rise to the standard that is given.

It's a cheap room. Don't go there expecting 5 star anything. Had no idea that there was permanent resident's living there. The shower had no pressure, the toilet felt like it was not bolted down, very strong cleaner smell when we 1st got there which gave me a headache. The tv when turned off acted like a night light (weird) Curtains didn't block out the light out side of our room which was on all night . But nothing happened, no bugs and the Manger is very nice.

The front desk isnt staffed, and you need to use a Ring, or sall a number even to check in. But hey, the staff is ok with playing Cricket in the parking lot, smashing a tennis ball at parked vehicles. Like teenaged boys. It was weird.

The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, the location is so perfect as it is within walking distance to the waterfront, the Carousels, Twigg’s Coffee Roasters, and also the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church. And right next door to the St. John’s Anglican Church.

I recently stayed at the Knights Inn Motel and had a truly pleasant experience. The room service was exceptional, and the front desk staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The location is fantastic, with everything you need within walking distance. The bathroom, rooms, and amenities were all up to the mark and met my expectations. I stayed here with a friend for just one night. At first glance we were a bit shocked from the hotels outside appearance. But our rooms were really clean and cozy. We had a very good night and could even leave our car at the parking lot after check-out for another two hours to explore the city of North Bay. The breakfast area was undergoing a renovation. So no chance to get any breakfast at all or even a coffee. But there is a coffee machine in the rooms and several coffee shops just around the corner. Nothing could beat the price!

the bathroom had mold and there was no breakfast and for staff i hunt them towels. just because was early ask them add room extra reservations. so canceled my reservations so instead $282 I payed $350.

The Knights Inn has a great location in downtown North Bay, but it was really more of a bottom-of-the-barrel motel. The inside of our room was clean and comfortable, and the gentlemen in the office were very friendly. However, the toilet paper holder was coming out of the wall, and there was a terrible smell of cigarettes when you used the blow dryer. The "breakfast included" was the strangest yet: two slices of bread in a plastic bag, with salt and pepper, honey and peanut butter, some chocolate chip cookies, and an apple. No real milk for your Tim Horton's coffee pod, nor hot coffee for you. It's sad how much it costs to stay even at a place like this with current inflation, but I would recommend splurging for another location.

Check in was quick and easy. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. Close walking distance to the waterfront. The motel is older but the room and bathroom were very clean and the ac worked great. Lots of parking

For a 2-night stay at a reasonable price, it was okay and gave me a place to sleep. But there were quite a few issues. The mattress was terrible, the duvet was polyester and wasn't even in a cover, and the sheets were rough and scratchy. The toilet paper was so thin it felt like tissue paper. The bath towels weren't really bath towels at all, they were so small they barely wrapped around me and felt more like hand towels. The room also wasn't cleaned properly. I found hairs on the shower wall and there was a sticky spot on the floor. When I went to check out, nobody was at the front desk, the office door was locked, and I had to buzz the intercom twice before someone finally came down. The one positive was the location. It's a short walk to Main Street and the waterfront.

You have a prime location in North Bay that you could really take advantage of, unfortunately the establishment is in dire need of modern updates. We will not return, unless renovations happen, and pride of ownership improves.
