Hotel was clean, quiet, and check in receptionist was very friendly. Hot breakfast was delicious and check out process was a breeze. Parking was ample. I would stay again. There are no elevators at this hotel, but it is only two floors if you are able to walk comfortably.

no elevator, no pool. breakfast room was very small. the room had a awful smell. staff working the breakfast area was very helpful and always checking the breakfast items to keep them stocked. fruit options would have been good to have also.

2 story building with no elevator, so if you are physically challenged make sure you request a ground floor unit. Noisey air/heat vent, with no controls - so couldn't be turned off or to adjust air flow. Old style toilet, very close to floor Beds creeked. Ground floor had a very small breakfast location providing 3 tables with 2 chairs to each left customers waiting to get a table. This hotel is well past its prime.

The staff were very gracious and accommodating, more than one can reasonably expect. We arrived very late, yet the host at the counter welcomed us warmly, and tried to help as best he could with the issue I had with Expedia promising a certain type of room. The next morning we slept in and just missed the complimentary breakfast, but our host delayed cleaning up so that we could eat. Much appreciated! Finally, we enjoyed the small treed area behind the hotel, which is quite peaceful.

The staff were very gracious and accommodating, more than one can reasonably expect. We arrived very late, yet the host at the counter welcomed us warmly, and tried to help as best he could with the issue I had with Expedia promising a certain type of room. The next morning we slept in and just missed the complimentary breakfast, but our host delayed cleaning up so that we could eat. Much appreciated! Finally, we enjoyed the small treed area behind the hotel, which is quite peaceful.

I did not like the fact that they did not say they do not have an elevator. I had booked a room on the second floor as I would have assumed they had an elevator. I'm glad I phoned in advance. I was traveling with my parents who are both 90. That would have been a disaster because they could never have gone up. The room was okay

When I got there the first room sink didn’t drain, second room they gave us had very low to the ground double beds when we asked for queens, had to move rooms 3 times total, no elevator for accessibility, breakfast was good.

Our first room had an odour and the sgower curtain rod was about to fall down. After being asked to move the second room we were given also had an odour to it but the bath tub and tub surround were dirty. Shelving in the shower was covered in dark icky soap scum. We have stayed here a few nonths ago without issue but we hears that there were new owners. Will not stay here again.

I had no shampoo or soap , bed was broken , was dirty , had an odour of mildew I asked for a discount and was told no or a full refund as it went up to them to make the decision on that , they offered to change rooms at all at midnight which would have been smaller beds and very inconvenient for me , so we did what we could to remain in that room , used an air mattress as we were from out of town , hope to see sone type of refund if possible plus we have pictures to prove it

Our room had a terrible smell. When we complained the front desk employee came in with an air freshener and sprayed the room. It helped for a while 5 minutes. We ended up checking out after one night when we had two nights booked. It was unbearable. There were other things but it's too much to mention. I do not recommend this place.

Dirty, old and loud sums it up. Bathroom was dirty. Room is outdated and smelled musty when we first walked in. Kids were running, playing and yelling in the hallway until well past 10:00PM. We had to call front desk both nights we were there to deal with it. The front desk said she could hear them downstairs but was waiting to see if the noise would stop soon. Know idea where the pool or ice machine is.

We had a great stay. The bed was comfortable. Main floor room made in and out so easy. There was sufficient food at breakfast. Coffee was good. Room carpet was a bit stained by the door and the bathroom is a bit dated.

Hotel is a bit outdated, but adequate. The air conditioning unit in the room is too noisy to sleep, it needs to be updated with a quieter fan and compressor. Beds were a bit too soft. Walls are thin and not well insulated for sound. Although a continental breakfast is included, it was not appealing, we didn't try it. Staff could be more helpful.

Over priced for this budget hotel. Booked a Queen bed but it was more of a double. Our room 225 is placed right beside the door to the stairs and we heard every time the door slammed shut....all through the night and morning. Complimentary breakfast was adequate. Lots of safe parking. Room itself dated.

I was in room 216 and the entire time I was in my room, there was an annoying noise coming from the roof or an unoccupied room next door (storage area?). I had to keep the fan on in my room in an attempt to block out the noise. It was rather annoying.

Not especially friendly check-in. I expressed my disappointment in learning we were booked on 2nd floor with no elevator (2 seniors). Was told that if I had booked directly with hotel I would have been told. Desk clerk kindly gave us ground floor room for same price. Other seniors checking in also said they didn’t know there wasn’t an elevator. Property apparently recently underwent extensive renovation. Much of the work appears poorly done. Light shines in from gap under door to hallway and bathroom door creaked and cracked when moved and didn’t shut properly. Got blasts of cold water in shower. Air conditioning unit old and noisy and difficult to find a comfortable fan/temp setting. Dirty wallpaper and carpet. Breakfast room tiny and a tight squeeze for more than 6 people. All white flour bread and bagels, cheap sugar yogurt and sugar cereals. The hot poached egg and meat had an odd taste and colour and were not edible. The only friendly worker here was the breakfast woman; none of the 3 desk people greeted or spoke to guests unless asked a direct question.

When I arrived, the clerk and then the manager insisted that they had to write down my name and credit card number on a piece of paper (torn from a notebook) as a means of collecting the security deposit because their “system was down”. I strenuously objected and offered to leave a $100 bill with my name attached until we checked out and they could inspect the room, but they said without the credit card number, I simply wouldn’t be able to check in. Since there are very limited other lodging options in the area and I had pre-paid, I finally relented. I will now have to closely monitor that account for the remainder of this trip and request a new card once I’m home. I don’t think they were bright enough to realize that their “system is down” because their internet is out. There was no internet access for the duration of the stay. Additionally, they had assigned us to a room on the second floor where they were performing repairs on the roof just outside the window and directly above our room. The inside of the lobby and the rooms look nothing like the photos.

Clean, reasonably priced and conveniently located with several restaurants close by. The only negative is that there is no elevator to the second floor which is a bit inconvenient if you have several bags.

Breakfast was limited but ok minimal seating , staff friendly ,room was fairly clean , hotel was noisy, lot of running around making noises in the hallway, heating vent noises all night long banging noise from other floors like cleaning staff moving furniture

I loved this cozy quiet hotel. The best part was free breakfast with eggs, sausages, waffles, toast, fries,yogurt. Wonderful stay!

Our original room smelled of smoke. Staff changed it for us promptly. Second room smelled the same. We figured it was not smoke but 'old' - this property really needs refreshing. Also, in the first room, there were what appeared to be blood stains on the duvet cover, on the side. The room set aside for the included breakfast was entirely too small to allow enough patrons to be seated.

2 story building with no elevator, so if you are physically challenged make sure you request a ground floor unit. Noisey air/heat vent, with no controls - so couldn't be turned off or to adjust air flow. Old style toilet, very close to floor Beds creeked. Ground floor had a very small breakfast location providing 3 tables with 2 chairs to each left customers waiting to get a table. This hotel is well past its prime.

Very quiet. Only problem on this property is the breakfast area. 3 tables only. Size of a closet. Having to wait for a table and then having to hurry so someone else could sit down for their breakfast. Not much thought put into this part of the hotel experience.

Clean, service was good, breakfast is included, including hot and cold selections. Coffee is available 24 hrs. Breakfast area is a little small but we managed to find a table. No balcony if you require that. Otherwise we were happy with our short stay.

They have no pool, no fitness room, and the breakfast is crap. How they charge 300 to stay one night is beyond me. They just take advantage because they are one of two hotels in all of simcoe. The best western is riddled with Crack and methheads and they know that. 2 stats overall. Beds are comfortable and parking is free at least. They have a nice little spot with a BBQ and picnic benches if you want to cook for yourself

Breakfast free was basic but enough to geet you going...loved the ice water at the frint especially on hot days...close to le&n trail which i biked...nesr lots of great restaurants...i tried the barrel great fettucine

Had an issue with the bathroom sink on check in.. baddly clogged and not draining. The gentleman at the front desk responded right away and cleared up the issue. Wasn't really his job, but he took on the task and fixed it. 10 out of 10 for this.
