Best Western Glengarry

Overall a good place to stay when in Truro.

Staff was fantastic, management was super kind and was nice to see them have the time to stop and check in on guests. Was a bit disappointed in breakfast not being readily available, but understand that it gets super busy during that rush so not super upset by this. Was a bit confused by the message we had received regarding pool, hot tub and restaurant. So we contacted hotel and found pool was accessible,as was the restaurant, but nearly cancelled reservation due to this message. Again, staff was so great to deal with. Had a pretty decent sleep, and so grateful check in was a simple quick process after a long flight across Canada! Overall was decent and was comfortable for the night. Oh and shower/bath products available were a great brand and smelled great!

Overall it was a good stay. I would stay here again.

The young men who checked us in were very nice. One of them was pretty new so it took a while. The room was decent size, bathroom was a bit tight but was clean. The ac/heat unit was a bit noisy and the pillows were too firm for my taste! I feel that they should have some soft ones too. Buffet breakfast was decent, it was served in the restaurant so have real utensils and plates. Overall I was satisfied and would consider staying there again.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was so fresh, hot and delicious.
