Check in was supposed to be at 3pm. We arrived at 4pm, but our room was not ready. Returned around 6pm and still had to wait 5 minutes for our room to be ready. Even then there was still garbage left in the room and freezer, and the mirror in the bathroom was dirty. The walls of the room were dirty. The room was very poorly maintained - eg the shower curtain rail was barely attached to the wall. We booked a suite with 2 tvs. One of the tvs didn’t work. It didn’t even have a cord. The pool never had clean towels. The receptionist did her best. She was kind and helpful - but it just wasn’t enough to make this stay feel worth the price we paid.

We recently stayed this past Fri -Sun for the State Bowling Tournament. We were up early Saturday morning and when we returned to the hotel around 3:00 to rest for a bit we were unable to do so due to the loud banging coming from upstairs. We then figured we would get up and go in the hot tub and relax. This was impossible due to the amount of unruly kids running around. Which I also want to mention, the pool and hot tub were filthy. There were clumps of hair floating in both and they both looked like they haven't been cleaned in ages. Which was extremely disappointing since we purposely booked a hotel with a pool and hot tub to utilize it. The kids being loud and obnoxious continued throughout the day. After leaving for dinner and returning to the hotel, the banging and loud noises continued all evening and progressively got louder. It sounded like they were going to come through the ceiling. It was so bad, the walls were shaking. This went on for about 4 hours. We complained to the clerk at the front desk numerous times. She indicated that she knew which kids they were that were being disruptive and that she believes there were no parents around all day. We had finally had enough and asked for our room to be changed. For almost 5 hours into the late evening, we were kept awake due to unruly kids upstairs. My only positive that I encountered from my stay was the sweetest woman on Saturday who ran the breakfast. I feel some type of compensation should be gi

Where do I begin, ice machine on second floor wasn\'t working properly, there were multiple leaks happening throughout the property including our toilet and in the pool area, when my husband checked in he had to have the desk get him a remote for the tv in our room and there was no cable line to our TV so they took it from another room, the mini fridge seal was destroyed so the freezer wouldn\'t freeze, then after all that and we were home they surprise charged us $250 for "smoking" when we are both nonsmokers, when I tried to dispute this charge with both the property and corporate (3 times) I am told the charge accurd because a "sensor" alerted them of smoke and that it\'s my word against theirs. Needless to say I will never be staying with best western again.
