The grout in the bathroom was black, was supposed to be white. Machines in the business center didnt work and employees didnt have access to email to help us print out a document. The building is tired and needs some work. Was not a good value for us compared to other properties we stayed at on our journey.

Very nice updated hotel. I loved their pillows! Fresh eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, and a bagel for breakfast. I was hungry... Coffee in the lobby. My son used the gym. Basic equiptment which was sufficient for a night away. You cannot expect a 5 star gym while in a hotel. All in all we would definitely recommend and will return.

Just there for a quick overnight stay. Room was clean and comfortable, updated and very nice. Only issues I had was my door had a hard time shutting and staying shut and there was a smell of cigarette smoke coming from the room next door and the one pillow on the bed smelled like smoke. Also there was very limited parking as there were multiple large trucks taking up 4-5 spaces each. Otherwise it was very comfortable, lady at check in was very friendly and informative. I didn’t have time to stay for breakfast but it smelled good on the way out. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

It’s ridiculous to only have 1 ice machine for the whole hotel and that ice machine was broke the whole time of my stay Most hotels have a ice machine on at least every other floor The breakfast was terrible as well. Won’t be staying at this hotel again

I didn't like there there is only one accessible parking spot. It looks like they replaced several spots with EV spaces. I didn't like the room I had had cockroaches and a large wet stain on the carpet. The staff was good though and switched my room to a suite.

Overall, the place met our needs. The highlights were a free bottle of wine at check in and the staff was super nice. Downside is no pool and no outdoor spaces which is tough when traveling with a family. There was also an odor in our room that we couldn’t get rid of. For the price, it was great, but there were some shortcomings.

The parking lot needs to be repaved. There are parking lamps right in the middle of the lot with large concrete barriers . You have to be extra careful not to hit one. Also, the bed was too high. It was difficult to get on the bed.

The ice machine was broken for the 3 days i was there. Did not like paying a staff gratuity per day. Did not know it was automatically added to my bill. I left a separate gratuity as well at departure time for cleaning the room. I also did not ask for service during my stay. The breakfast was the same all three days i was there.

It is a very old and dated hotel. My family and I had to change our room because the first room smelled like a dirty gym sock - it stunk so badly, the second you open the door the smell hit you. The second room wasnt any better, it still stunk but not as horrendous as the first. The carpets definitely need to be completely replaced. The other issue with the room was it had ROACHES! One actually fell on top of my head as I was laying down!!!! Lastly there were blood stains on the pillow cases as well as sheets. Not sure what laundry service is used but its definitely not doing a great job. Never again will we stay at a Comfort Inn

The free bottle of wine was nice. There was a roach alive going across our bed and the room smelled pretty bad. I went to the front desk and was moved to the room right next door. Didn’t find any new roaches but the damp mildew smell was in both rooms.

The service was great and the front desk attendant was friendly and welcoming, but my room was not at all clean. There were stains all over the carpet, and visible debris still on the hardwood floors. The AC unit was also filled with dust and debris, and the room had a funky smell.

Our room was small & dirty. The bathtub was not cleaned. There were stains on the carpet. Comforter was dirty. I did complain & we didn’t get charged for the room at all. So we were happy about that. Customer service was very good.

Staff was not able to help but we had a room that was not clean. Hair in bathtubs, dirty sheets made to look fresh (visible stains) and a deadbolt that was very loose. We arrived too late to go elsewhere.

I traveled extensively in my business, having spent thousands of nights in hotels around the world. I have never seen a room as disgustingly dirty as this one. The carpets were filthy to the point my wife and I didn’t want to take our shoes off. One if the sheets was stained- looked like someone used it to wipe their ass. We packed up, spoke to the desk clerk. Told him if he didn’t have a cleaner room, we were leaving. He offered us nothing. We left. Now they refuse to refund my money. I have plenty of pictures. Wish I could include them in this review.

The hotel common areas were very clean and nice, but I don't think my room had been vacuumed because I kept stepping on little things on the floor. The bed was comfy but the pillows were pretty lumpy. The sink and tub in my room were both clogged and the water started pooling immediately on use. Some of the plugs didn't work properly. The TV was nice but the remote was not clean.

- Damp carpet (my socks got damp after walking/standing on it!) - carpet was stained in multiple places - towels were thin and scratchy - the was mold around the top of the bathroom door - WiFi never worked, had to figure it out myself as the front desk staff didn’t mention it Honestly, we couldn’t get out of here fast enough!

Check n was easy, very nice lady at the desk. Room 213 directly opposite the elevator with VERY small window overlooking the roof so very little light. Room clean, small bathroom with sink and counter outside bathroom but directly inside hotel room entrance, strange set up.

the hallway sounded like a festival was taking place with doors slamming constantly along with loud laughter and giggling. We had an early flight and this wasn't exactly helping matters. I don't believe there was anyone on site besides the night desk clerk to be able to police the ridiculous noise being made.

To start, I booked this hotel with the option of reserve now, pay later. After it was confirmed, I received numerous phone calls saying that my card did not go through, and that I have to call and use a card to not lose my reservation. Mind you, I haven’t even arrived yet to pay!?? After disagreeing, I arrived a few hours later to check in. Upon check in, I didn’t receive either of my “VIP” packages that were supposed to come with the stay. Not just that, but every night I stayed there, in front of the hotel, they had cars doing burnouts, shooting off fireworks, and whatever other crazy things that had going on in the streets with cops everywhere you look. This terrified my dogs, and they barely would leave the hotel room because of how scared they were. Lastly, on my check out day, I get woken up to a phone call at 8am to move my car because they are starting to paint the side of the hotel I was parked in. Why wasn’t I notified of the outside activities all weekend? Why wasn’t I notified of the “painting” that started at 8am sharp? For all of this hassle, the room was very basic and didn’t include anything other than your basic amenities. I had an okay experience the first time staying here, after the second time, will not return!! Save your money and go to any other nicer hotel in the same area!! I’m positive it would be a better experience!

Stayed one night because of a basketball game. The hotel was perfect for our needs and we were blown away by the customer service, especially at check in by Manali. She made the stay perfect. We will stay there again.

This was a last minute change for us - we booked a hotel down the road and couldn't stay - last minute we found this comfort Inn - the front desk staff was AMAZING - super friendly and helpful !

Nice property. Walk to a good restaurant (Tullys) next door. Registration clerk was terrible. No greeting, minimum eye contact and fewest words necessary were spoken. After a 35 years career in resort operations, I’m uniquely qualified to say this young lady should not be in a guest service position. Very poor representation of this hotel. Hotel is very nice but a terrible greeting can dampen the experience or overall impression. .

Wow- such great customer service from the minute we checked in at 1am to checking out- everyone we encountered was wonderful. Special call out to the gentleman cleaning up breakfast. He gave our dog a bag of dog biscuits for the road. So thoughtful!

Checkin was fantastic and I can’t say enough about the wonderful lady working the reception desk! However, let me say that she is the saving grace and best part of this hotel! The other man that I encountered at the desk was unprofessional, poorly dressed and never even cracks a smile or greets anyone! The first morning we were there an employee was going up and down the hallway at around 9am knocking and saying they were housekeeping. That’s very early for an 11 checkout time. Keep in mind that upon checkin you are given a card to hang outside and can mark on it the timeframe for housekeeping and if you do not want it. Breakfast is not good! Very little offered and even that wasn’t well kept up. The first day there was a fridge full of yogurts, second day it was empty. Coffee ran out and the lady in charge had to be asked at least three times about it. She took the empty carafe away but for got to make more. There was no syrup for the waffle stand except for some sugar free kind that my husband cannot have. Nothing else to put on it. Thankfully Dunkin’ donuts is next door! We paid more to have breakfast but next time I’ll go to the Super 8 and just buy my own somewhere.

Checkin was fantastic and I can’t say enough about the wonderful lady working the reception desk! However, let me say that she is the saving grace and best part of this hotel! The other man that I encountered at the desk was unprofessional, poorly dressed and never even cracks a smile or greets anyone! Having a variety of breakfast options was nice. The location is ideal for those wanting to visit Destiny USA (it's only 4-5 minutes away). My room was located at the end of the hall on the 3rd floor so it was plenty quiet. Nothing was lacking to me so interacting with the staff was limited, but they were nice and welcoming!

While our neighbors were quiet there was extremely loud cars racing and burning out in the parking lot of the hotel and surrounding it. The WiFi is also incredibly slow, we couldn’t even stream in standard definition. It was however clean, staff was nice enough, and other than not being able to sleep at night it was fine.

It’s ridiculous to only have 1 ice machine for the whole hotel and that ice machine was broke the whole time of my stay Most hotels have a ice machine on at least every other floor The breakfast was terrible as well. Won’t be staying at this hotel again

The ice machine was broken for the 3 days i was there. Did not like paying a staff gratuity per day. Did not know it was automatically added to my bill. I left a separate gratuity as well at departure time for cleaning the room. I also did not ask for service during my stay. The breakfast was the same all three days i was there.

Hotel was very well maintained. Price was reasonable. Breakfast was good. We had a good night sleep as the beds in the room were comfortable, specious. Hotel is in a convenient location close the interstate I-90 and I-81. Bathroom water in the shower was good. Overall it was a great experience. On top of that, the wine as a VIP guest was a pleasant surprise that we really liked. We will likely stay here again and refer others about this property.

We were very disappointed on the breakfast. The sausage was dried up and cold, the hash browns were cold and greasy. The breakfast attendant wasnt doing her job. We stayed a few weeks ago and got a fantastic breakfast what happened?

Very Nice hotel. We would have given it a 5 star, the only reason that we have not is when we landed on the floor (4th) we got a strong smell of smoke. Else, the amenities were great. Breakfast was great with lots of options.

Needed a place to stay for a night after arriving late into SYR. It’s really close to the airport (less than 10 min of driving) but it was kind of expensive for a hotel in this class. It was not exceedingly clean, friendly or nice but was not bad either. Seems a bit expensive for what it is.
