Clean and quiet. No issues for a place to stay one night. One thing that caught me by surprise was how tight the parking spots are. Definitely would not recommend larger vehicles to this spot.

Friendly staff, reasonable price, lots of parking spaces. A bit hard to locate check in office if enter from the back side. Overall good place to stay if visit Monterey

This place was nice and conveniently located near the Del Monte Golf course. Parking was tight but still had room. Bed was comfy and room was large.

Customer service was wonderful and the front desk people were helpful and kind. The room was clean. Parking was available at all times of the day; if you couldn't find a space in front of your room there is a small parking lot close by. We stayed for 4 days and loved the fact that the inn was centrally located. It is close to everything beautiful in Monterey.

It is a great deal for the money. It is modern and has a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. However it has no Continental breakfast, and you can only take a shower no bath. They don't have maid service for clean towels if you stayore than one night.

Location was convenient, my recommendation will be to have room services available , offer a atleast breakfast service or some sort of vending machine for snack, drink or soda, just incase someone or kids are hungry, need some quick supply.

Where do I start. The owners in the office are rude. There were hairs all throughout the bathroom and in the bed. A red stain on the sheet. I went to the office and the owner was there, she said they had no extra bedding or blankets for that matter. Each room is provided exactly 1. The baseboard was rusted and the bathroom had mold on the ceiling. When you turn on the shower the drain smells like rotten eggs. Then when you wake up, there was conveniently construction going on. Overall, stay at Days Inn right down the street for the same price.

someones sock on the floor hair in the microwave the parking feels safe for a woman who is travelling alone for work but this is unacceptable i actually noticed this is the morning as i didnt notice at pm i arrived later eve wont be coming back i told the desk

Monterey was a beautiful place to visit from hiking Point Lobos to visiting the Aquarium to the 17 mile drive. The stay on the other hand was nice at first, and I say at first because it took a turn. After going out for the day, I noticed there were black spots on the curtains and instantly thought it was mold. I gave the area the benefit of the doubt with it being in a beach town and there being higher humidity and the curtains being right above the heater/ac unit. I called the front office to let them know, and I nice lady came to inspect. She looked at it and claimed it was dirt. I shared the concern of health risks and she said she had risks herself and that if it was mold she wouldn’t be touching it. I know what mold looks like and I know that dirt didn’t look like that. Later that evening, I noticed there was mold on the ceiling over the shower and honestly thought it couldn’t get worse than this. The next day we received a call from the front office about changing the room, and it was rather dismissive. They provided the option to change the curtain and or room, and during the conversation the front office attendant said it would be an inconvenience for her if we change rooms when asked about the process to change. They changed the curtains ultimately, and we are thankful for that. The cost and size of the room was nice, but they say you get what you pay for.

The refrigerator was disgusting and there were womens thongs left in the room. Just was not clean and really needs an update.

Overall a really good experience. Staff was attentive and friendly. We had an issue getting our TV working and they kindly took the time to help figure it out (the hdmi cable got loose accidently). Clean room and nice property. Recommend for anyone looking for a good place to crash while exploring Monterey.

Very tidy and clean, very much a basic place to stay. Close to Trader Joe’s and about two miles from ocean. Would stay here again. In a safe and quiet area.

This have stayed there before and it was good. We will not go again.This stay was .disappointing. My wife has asthma and we asked for a room with reduced or no chemicals. They could not accommodate so we left the window and door open and it seemed to reduce the problem. However the room was dirty with layers of dust on pictures, hair on pillows etc. The wifi was weak. I could only connect for an hour the first night after that nothing.

I was upset that my room door was wide open when I got my keys, assuming maid forgot to lock it. The internet did not work on any of my devices, tiolet ran every 15 minutes and heater made alot of noise. I have stayed here a few times before and was very happy but this time not so happy

First night was very peaceful and quiet but the second night there was so much noise from upstairs, the next door guest and kids screaming till 11:00pm. The room was nice but a bit cramped but we made it work. Over all we’d give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars ⭐️

This amazing hotel was spotless, our room with a king bed had cathedral ceiling and a fireplace , it was gorgeous. Comfy bed and pillows, safe neighborhood and ample parking. Perfect for a 1 nite stay, we are so happy we stayed here! I have pictures but don't know how to add them, bathroom also looked newly remodeled. I couldn't ask for a nicer place to stay

We were told it was the best room and cost accordingly. The room was large and had a small gas fireplace. But it was right on the public sidewalk and street. Very noisy and the public could see right in, even to the bathroom area, which didn’t have a door in the dressing area. It’s a Main Street so lots of loud traffic early and late.

We were looking for a clean, budget-friendly, easy overnight while we were in the Monterey area visiting the aquarium and seeing a music show. The Arbor Inn worked great for us (two adults, one child); the front desk staff were very welcoming, the room was clean, beds comfortable, and check-in and out were easy. We did wish the room had an extra lamp--it seemed pretty dim even with all the available lights on, making it tricky to find things inside our luggage. The beds were a tight fit for the space--the door hit the foot of the bed when opened, but that was a minor problem and didn't really affect our stay for only one night. Would stay here again on our way through the area in the future.

The property was very nice. The desk manager Arie was very professional & offered suggestions of places to see. The room was very comfortable, simple but adequate and plenty of natural light in the room. Since the manager's office window faces the entrance of the facility they are able to keep an eye on who's coming & going. We felt safe staying there.

Would give 0 stars if I could. My daughter got the smallest amount of washable crayola marker on the bedspread. I should have tried to get it out but I really didn’t think much of it because it’s gotten on our clothes and stuff before and it comes right out. The following week I look and I have a charge for 113 from the hotel and call and find out it’s a charge for the marker. I couldn’t believe it the woman told me I needed to be more careful in the room and that they are running a business. I asked if I could get a picture or pick the comforter up myself to clean because I could get it out and the woman said she could not do that. I told her I would leave a review so people would know they should watch out to make sure they are not scammed as well and she said okay. I never leave reviews but I would like to stay true to my word. Also think that they should have called and left a message with me to make me aware of this “incidental” but they probably figured they could get away with being unnoticed in transactions.

The owners are such friendly and helpful people. Check in and out was quick and easy. Our room was clean and comfortable. The location is walking distance to restaurants and entertainment. This is our second time here for the MotoAmerica races at Laguna Seca and we’ll be back next year.

No Room Service was provided and they confirmed there will be room service after 2 days stay. Charged $113 extra to stay in same room because we had kids.

Staff was kinda rude and impatient at first when they couldn't find our reservation. Stayed only one night. Room average. Parking is tight.

The property was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. When we checked out we forgot some important valuables and didn’t discover our mistake until we had driven about 60 miles. The staff had found the items and called us to let us know of our mistake. We were very grateful for their honesty and help in returning our property.

I booked based on reviews!! Arrived late since we drove from out of town I had to hurry as I was told the doors are locked at 10pm. The man who helped me check in was kind. However, made up some California law about me asking for extra towels. (Spending the weekend) The room was so so. The bed was somewhat comfortable. The baseboards should be cleaned. The property is cute and well maintained. Here is why I give one star I sent a message to staff Friday night after I checked in to report we had no hot water to shower. We just drove 4 hours!! I had hot water in the sink. But no hot water to shower and the Next day no hot water again. The only response I received was a “k”no follow up or call. I asked for room service and I was told “no” I had my husband set trash cans outside to eliminate an odor in our room. Covid is over and at no time should a consumer be told No for basic requests! I will not return unfortunately. Great prices but you get what you pay for.

We liked how cute and quiet the property was. Check in and check out we’re both very convenient.

Nothing unique. The property exceed my expectations. Wnd its near the places that i need to go.

All was good however we were up front close to Muras and there was a lot of road noise.

Room recently renovated, spacious, and very clean. Quiet area and walkable to Fisherman’s Wharf for a fit person. Great value!

It is a great experience that the hotel left our family! It is a cozy but very cute property with beautiful and clean environment. It is both open and yet together 2 floor buildings with beautiful flowers on Arbor. It is very quiet, walking distance to downtown food and shops and piers. Highly recommended!
