Check in was easy the room was clean and fairly updated. Air conditioning and heat worked great. Bed was not the best but I am picky. But it was doable. Pool was clean and warm as was the hot tub though the water level was super low in the hot tub. Not a big deal. Breakfast was nice. Husband enjoyed the eggs and waffles. Thought tater tots for potato options hilarious. There was fruit and oatmeal and cereal pastries toast yogurt. A full assortment of food. Coffee and juices. Overall I’d say it’s a great value for the location. It’s close to several area attractions as well. Would definitely stay here again. There is road and people noise from outside but didn’t bother us.

The king room was clean, spacious and recently painted, we were on the 1st floor. The bed is comfortable the pillows are on the small side and not that comfortable but not the worst. The bathroom was also recently updated, new paint and tile work. No mold or mildew anywhere, shower pressure is standard low for a Inn but great temperature. The water is treated so if your not used to that it can feel a little slimy. Good sized and nice towels. The A/C worked great,kept the room at the perfect temp, no weird smells and not overly loud. The loud comes from no soundproofing, the door not fitting right and the garbage collection on Wednesday mornings. You will be woken up by 6am. I suggest earplugs. The amenities are a plus. A microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator in room plus buffet style breakfast. The breakfast room is small but outside seating is available. Lots of options for food. The staff are amazing and really care about this place. Parking can be tight but it's doable. We didn't use the pool but it looked very clean and is disability accessible. The staff were wonderful and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable and the parking was right where we needed it to be. We had a wonderful anniversary trip and will kepp you in mind when traveling to Monterey in the future!
