Said they had parking for box truck when i called but wouldnt let me park a box truck at 11 pm and made me cancel the reservation quoting employee was new and made a mistake..

Very Poor parking area with small spaces and narrow drive between parking on right or left. Someone parked IN that drive way at night and blocked me & 4 other cars from getting out. No one at offive for check in at 3 and no-show till 4. Person was Very nice & check in was quick. Room was fine but older furniture (not a problem) Bed was OK but not that comfortable...OLD?? I was only here 1 day so not a big issue but better places around I'm sure.

Under $80 it’s worth it but parking is very tight and the location is hard to find

This property was well situated to 101 and 680. It was clean. It was very much like a 50s motel. Bathtub refinish was peeling. The access was a little difficult as you could access it from 1 way only and that way was not marked good.

Quick and easy check in. Everything worked great! Next to a delicious Restaurant! Couldn’t have asked for more. And an amazing price. Easily could be double the cost.

I do not fault the motel, but the rating showing should be less. This is less than a Motel 6. Room was clean and basic, but uninsulated and cold without the wall mount heater/ac unit. ( Rey loud and right beside the bed.) bathroom sink and shower have black mold throughout. Otherwise, bed clean and comfortable. Parking lot well lighted. Easy to pass the location in an industrial district. Get a room off the highway sid3 as all night trucking traffic is very loud. If you’re stuck, it’s not bad, but I will not be staying again, especially at this price.

We stayed here for 4 nights. No room service and a kinda small room, but it fits in budget and was enough for us. Could also be a little bit cleaner. Would recommend for a cheap price. (There are a lot of free parking lots)

We did a real late check in and the person was very friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfortable, but needed a thicker blanket. The restaurant onsite had amazing food and would definitely eat there again.

Stay for work several times now. There is a good Mexican restaurant attached to the same buildings. Staff is helpful.

Great rooms. Horrible parking lot.

The rooms were very dirty especially the bathrooms. First night we were moved to a different room because when I turned down the bed to go to sleep the sheets looked dirty unchanged it was really disgusting.

I stay here often for work. It is comfortable, clean, and quiet. What more could you want?

Stains on bed cover. Sink clogged. Really dirty all around.

Blood on the walls and sheets, dirty bathrooms, mushrooms growing under countertop sink. Nasty floors very very dirty. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!!!!

Lack of cleanliness of bathroom and shower. A bit of an odor in room. Overated in terms or overall cleanliness of bathroom and main room.

The bed sheets had burn holes and there was a big maggot on the ceiling.

Lieber nicht am falschen ende sparen. Allgemein dreckig und dubiose gegend, mitarbeiter gelangweilt und nicht serviceorientiert. Wlan schrott kein shampoo duschgel etc nur kleine Tütchen (sowie diese gratis proben) Toilette spühlt nicht richtig. Lärm von der Straße lässt einen kaum Schlafen

Older motel, a bit worn about the edges but super clean/safe/friendly!! Can't go wrong for the price (don't expect the Ritz) a sold value with the most comfortable bed EVER!!

Good overall , great price , spacious rooms.

It’s the old style motel, with outdated bathrooms, and limited bathroom accessories, no coffee maker, and old style mattresses. On the good side is refrigerator and microwave included. .

Staying on the weekend is a horrible idea. Too many guests feel like it’s party time and bring portable speakers that they play until two or three in the morning.

Did not feel safe. (More below). The front desk agent, an older woman whose name I can’t remember was very nice. The room looked like the pictures and was stylish. The bath towel was laundered but it clearly had been bleached to clean a previous stain which was still obvious. The towel also had a hair entwined in the threads. My main complaint is that shortly after checking in (about 8pm) men outside started aggressively and continuous pounding on different doors of the hotel. They spoke in another language so I couldn’t understand but my impression was they were looking for someone who didn’t want to be found by them. They went to different doors, shaking the building with their pounding until they ended up at the room next to mine. I didn’t know if they’d start pounding on my door next. I did not feel safe to leave my room. The room had no phone to call the front desk with so I tried calling several times from my cell phone but no one answered (even though the front desk should have still been open) and there was no option to leave a message - just rang endlessly. Eventually I put in noise cancelling headphones and went to sleep. I woke up at 4am when the men returned and continued pounding on the door. When I went to leave in the morning at 8:11am the front office was still closed even though it was supposed to open at 8am. I would not stay here again and do not recommend it. Did not feel safe.

Awesome value. Better than expected. Definitely going to be a return customer. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy check in and out process. All staff members were fantastic.

Great price and Manager Jose was very helpful and accommodating.

Close to a restaurant so made getting food easy

Alura Inn hotel by far had the best customer service I have got to experience in the San Jose , Santa Clara and sunnyvale area. It was an absolute pleasure staying here because of how courteous and respectful the staff treats you. Would definitely stay again.

I went to check in and gave the woman at the desk my card for my $50 deposit...she slides the card the first time and said that it didn't go through so she asks if she could try one more time so she slides it a second time and then says that the card is locked. I call my bank while still there and the bank said that the card wasn't locked and that the motel deducted the $50 deposit two times. So $100 missing from my account. Told the gentleman that was now at the counter which her the phone conversation and said that his system shows that i never paid any $50 deposit. I have to go back tomorrow to talk to his Supervisor but they were adamant that they didn't receive no money from sliding my card. I was so angry

Took over two hours nearly to check in again; hotel agent couldn’t view virtual card in system so I was on the phone with hotels.com and was transferred to different agents and the hotel was also not happy with hotels.com.

Alura Inn is my favorite place to stay in San Jose, the staff are super friendly & willing to go over & beyond to accommodate me. Well worth the money & I will continue coming back...

For the past two times I've stayed here, I have yet to receive my security deposit back. When I call to ask about it, nobody answers the phone! I know both times there was no reason to not refund my deposit, and they just kept it without giving me any reason why I haven't received it back.

Industrial area

Not in a suburban setting as advertised, but an industrial one.

I didn't dislike the place, it's adequate if you need a place to sleep for a night and you don't need to go walking anywhere. It's in the middle of nowhere really, you're stuck in a no-man's-land of noisy highways. The little tacqueria's pretty cool though. The room has a few rough edges, like a corroded plughole in the bath, cracking caulk at the edge of the tub, and other stuff broken. But it's clean and the service is friendly. No breakfast.

great for what it is. like a friendlier "mom & pop" motel 6. everybody showed friendly. I walked less than 1/2 mile for coffee. industrial kind of area. I would stay again :-)

Good location, friendly front desk service, and reasonable price

Very conveniently located close to the nVidia conference. Good eating places nearby. Also located closer to two major freeways.

This was a convenient stay for us with our late returning flight to San Jose. Just a few minutes from the airport and the desk service was very friendly and professional. It won't be mistaken for the Hilton, but it was clean and comfortable and a very good value.

Run down area

Where do I start? Pictures can be deceiving. I know the price was on the lower end, but a little disappointed. There was no coffee pot in the room. I called the from desk multiple times with no answer. Tried again an hour later multiple times and finally spoke with someone. Lady said they do not have anymore coffee makers. What? How do you not have a coffee maker for every room? Tried to get ice with no luck. Front desk said ice maker is currently broken. I wouldn't bring kids here. Lots of shady characters up to go good at all hours of the night. Noise increased the later it got. The only good thing about this place is the price and the Mexican restaurant.

No face towels or coffee machine in the room

Needed a place to stay in a pinch and this place was absolutely amazing there was a small little Mexican restaurant and it was great!
