La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Stockton

Room was dirty, something smeared all over the floor hair all over the bathroom, only 2 really bad pillows for a king size bed. Homeless people living in cars in the parking lot out side the room.

We were unable to control the air conditioning, it was on and that was nice but we were unable to set a temp, or turn it off, it was just on and concerns got too cool we had to unplug it. And once it was too warm we had to plug it back in. But at least we had an air conditioner that kept our room nice and cool. We had an issue with our TV but the front desk sent the maintenance right up and fix the issue for us. The breakfast was great, fresh and a nice variety of items. You could make your own waffles and that was awesome. They were constantly keeping the breakfast area clean and stocked. I have to say that the staff here was really awesome which made my stay really nice.i thought that this place is a great value.

So scared homeless outside my room i could not sleep , my car outside not safe place

Everything was clean and tidy breakfast was ok. Maybe should have notified them in advance as I have food allergies.

The room was disgusting! We had tar all over the floors, and red stuff that we weren’t sure what it was. My husband took a shower and when he got out and dried off he and his towel were covered with this stuff! It looked like a red dried plant! It was all over him, his towel and the floor! I couldn’t believe it! There were huge bags of trash on the sidewalk at the end of the building when we checked in and it was still there when we left in the morning. I can’t believe that they charged us $117 for that disgusting room! I will never stay at a La Quinta again!
