Title: Lovely Hotel, but Overpriced Entry-Level Room ​We stayed at the Balmer Lawn Hotel for a work event. The hotel public areas are beautiful, the food was good, and providing a breakfast sausage for our dog was a really sweet touch. ​However, £177 felt steep for a budget room with a view of a brick wall (you'd have to stand on one leg and hang out the window to see the New Forest!). A £30 nightly dog fee also felt excessive. We didn't get to use the spa, but overall it’s a nice venue—just disappointing on room value and pet charges.

A charming hotel in a great location. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel has both an indoor and outdoor pool which are great. Breakfast was tasty and filling. Would definitely return.

Aufenthalt für eine Nacht

A very nice but old building. No disabled parking but told to use the dropping off section out the front so that was ok. Room was nice but quite small to manoeuvre round the bed if you were sleeping on the left side. No air conditioning which was disappointing in these temps. Did have a fan so that went on and stayed on til we left the next day. Surprised the bar shut by 11 nowhere to get a nice cold drink. The restaurant was fully booked because there was an 80th party going in which we weren’t pre warned about. Luckily hubby hadn’t had a drink so we went out into Lymington to find somewhere to eat. Indoor & outdoors pools were ok just needed a little tlc really. Breakfast was very nice cannot fault that at all. Sausages and bacon very tasty as was all the hot choice.
