This hotel is absolutely incredible! Clean, safe, great location, wonderful friendly staff, and a really great wellness center with a amazing gym and pool! Definitely will be coming back!

Excellent hotel, good and reasonably priced food, and very clean throughout. One of the 2 lifts was out of action which meant there were queues when tourist buses arrived and departed, but that was a minor inconvenience.

Very disappointed with the cold reception on arrival. The hotel staff need to work on their customer service skills. Regretted booking The Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel and very nearly cancelled on the spot after being on the receiving end of a nonchalant welcome. After driving 200 plus miles from NorthWest England the last thing me and my family needed was to search for accommodation. The Hotel itself is very nice and clean, hats off to the service staff who work behind the scenes to maintain a good standardbof cleanliness. The rooms are a very good size with a good size ensuite shower room. The gym has basic equipment but does the job. A good pool and really nice sauna area. There were open showers althougu would have preferred separate cubicles for privacy. Car park very spacious and ample parking available at all times. Hotel location is easily accessible and nice grounds surround the premises. The breakfast was very nice and a mix of hot and cold food suited everyone's taste buds!

Really great place to stay and eat food amazing Big bug though is parking if you arrive before 17.30 be prepared to trawl the car park for a space it took me half an hour to get parked in the hotel car park which is obviously being used by people visiting the hospital Should be barriers if and an entry cide sent with your booking cinfirnation

Excellent option for night before heading to the airport. Wellness centre needs some attention but the rooms and hotels two in general was flawless for the price. Good to have some money going to the NHS. Would definitely recommend if going to the airport.

We werent sure what to expect for a hotel in a hospital, but were pleasantly surprised . The room was imaculate and bed very comfortable , great leisure facilities (the only improvement in my mind would be a bigger sauna) and one of the best hotel breakfasts ive had in a while . The staff in all areas were welcoming and friendly without being over familiar. Thank you everyone !

Evening meal in restaurant was slow and food not cooked properly and the waitress was a bit rude. The room was very noisy from 7am onwards with bins being emptied and bottles being smashed. The cleaners didn't provide clean replacement cups and replenish soap and toilet roll.

Excellent spacious room. However too stuffy and couldn’t cool the room down with air con as heating kept going on with a noise! Also we only got one teabag and one biscuit so had to ask reception. They also had to bring us a remote for TV as not one in room!

Lovely big room on the upper level with a nice view of the river. Bathroom and bedroom were spotless. It was very handy for traveling into Helensburgh to visit family. We had three night here and would definitely stay here again. The only thing I could find fault with was the air conditioner as we couldn’t adjust it to cooler and had to open the window as it was quite warm at night.

We had a lovely stay at Golden Jubilee Hotel. The was a problem with the reservation so checking in and out was a bit of a hassle as I got worried about my booking. The only issue we had was that our room was connected to another room with a door, and we could hear other people from next door. The lady was very loud early in the morning so we couldn’t sleep properly. Also the phone wasn’t working. Overall, had a nice stay. It’s a lovely hotel and newly renovated.

Be aware when booking for a Saturday particularly. I was in room 227 which is more or less directly above the the Events Area and there was a party in full swing from 20:00 to 01:00, the music was very very loud and completely overpowering. I understand it is Xmas and the Golden Jubilee hosts many Private Functions etc but a word at check in from Reception would have been nice or maybe even place guests as far as possible away from the Function Room as there are 4 floors of guest rooms. Cannot fault the room and Beautiful Hotel otherwise but I would enquire at check in especially at the Weekend regarding any functions going on and steer clear of 227 and surrounding rooms.

The rooms were spacious and offered an excellent river view. The bathrooms were neat and clean, and the swimming pool was very well maintained. The restaurant was satisfactory, though I would recommend adding a wider variety of dishes to the menu. However, during our stay, one of the toilets in our rooms was not functioning properly. Despite reporting the issue, no staff member attended to it even after four hours, which was quite disappointing. Since we had booked two rooms, we had to manage using the other room’s toilet, but this inconvenience caused delays in our plans for the day.

This property is a part of the hospital. You walk into reception and the hospital is on your left and the hotel on the right. The entire hotel smells like a hospital. The surroundings are beautiful. The dining room is lovely. The bedrooms were brilliant, we had 3 rooms as there were a few of us. The one thing that oulled the score down to an average was the staff. Their communication style or lack off was not very pleasant. Nobody says hello or good morning. Even the dining room staff along with the reception staff were not friendly at all. In the hospitality sector communication should be spot on. Especially when someone is spending so much in your hotel. We had 3 rooms for 3 nights. There was nice welcome or goodbye. The reception staff just couldn't be bothered. It made it a very bland and blase environment. The rooms, cleanliness, lifts, pools were all fab. The steam room wasn't working whilst we were there but the water in the pool was lovely and warm. A nice place but don't book if you're looking for any sort of pleasantries.

Very good accommodation but the evening meal service was disappointing. Took our order at 20:00 hrs- 45 minutes later they realised it hadn’t been started! Eventually got it, very well prepared and tasty. Breakfast was a very different matter on time, great choice and tasty.

Quite simply, the staff went above and beyond during my stay. They arranged and paid for a taxi to collect me from the airport (I was visiting for my mothers funeral, so they arranged an early check-in). The room was imaculate and modern. I had dinner in the restaraunt, having the prawn cocktail followed by pork belly - both were beautiful. I required a bottle opener and they sent someone to my room to do it for me in minutes. The chef cooked smoked haddock for my breakfast (despite it not being an option) and they have arranged a driver to take me back to the airport. They turned what was a very difficult time, into a very pleasant stay and even enquired how the service went when I returned - the staff get 10 out of ten - very impressive, and will definitely return (hopefully under happier circumstances).

Arrived early but was unable to check in early which was frustrating but not the end of the world. Was rudely awoken at 08:55 by a cleaner to ask ‘what time I would be leaving’, despite check out being 11am - poor to say the least.

Perfect location for overnight stay prior to early hospital appointment. Provided extremely well for disability with a full wet room including shower chair and rail available for toilet. Clean, comfy, spacious and quiet. Friendly staff and great food Recommend

Location was quite suitable for our stay while attending The Open at Royal Troon. Scot Rail stop was only 1/2 mile walk, thus very easy to get into Glasgow center for rail transfers or visiting city center. Since we had a car, parking was very easy and free. Restaurant on site and bar on site were good. Room and hotel overall was very clean.

Large pleasant space but out of the way. Our GPS didn’t give us accurate directions to get here. Just look for the large brick buildings and go through the gate. If there is a conference on you might have to wait to find a parking spot.

Staff was very helpful with holding luggage before check in and arranging transportation. Close enough walk to the bus stop if your looking to head into Glasgow. Beautiful veiw.

We love staying here! Lovely large rooms, very clean. Great swimming pool and gym. Bit out of town but can use public transport easy enough.

This was a lovely hotel that met our needs. I thought the restaurant in the hotel was a little pricey and had a very limited menu. We had a car so we did not use the transit in the area, but I did see bus stops along the way.

We liked our spacious room with a good shower. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Staff were all very friendly. Will go again. The only small problem was that we only had 2 cups for 3 of us , a few coffee sachets, no decaf, 4 tubes of milk and one biscuit.

The common areas were in excellent condition but the room had several fault's, three different lighting issues and an ineffective showers screen. In addition the food failed to live up to expectations. On a positive note the room was spacious, quiet and a nice temperature, lastly the bed was a delight to sleep in.

Hotel has plenty of facilities and space. Breakfast excellent and restaurant food very good and value for money but service a little haphazard on both occasions we used restaurant. Room excellent vfm,spacious, clean and very comfortable bed.

Excellent stay. Spacious room that was of a very high standard of cleanliness. Bathroom very clean. Excellent shower with very nice toiletries. Air condintioned which was needed. Excellent choices at breakfast. Overall a great stay, will definitely stay here again.

Very good accommodation but the evening meal service was disappointing. Took our order at 20:00 hrs- 45 minutes later they realised it hadn’t been started! Eventually got it, very well prepared and tasty. Breakfast was a very different matter on time, great choice and tasty.

Good overall just a few issues had to swap room as heating didn’t work and still didn’t in second room Food a bit pricey I had lamb curry which was more like a seasoning no sauce Breakfast was a standard buffet nothing special Good bar and did the job overall

Lovely hotel. Just park outside of working hours as hospital parking hogs the car park. Breakfast could do with a healthy refresh option as the selection was very limited.

We had a deluxe double room booked and when we got to room 332 found that we had a huge room with separate lounge, two en-suites and two TV’s. The bathrooms were immaculate and the room was clean. The bed was very comfortable. We didn’t book breakfast because we didn’t want one both days but we did for our second morning. For £12:50 each it was excellent. We also ate in the bar restaurant both nights and it was great value and well cooked and served. A strange hotel because it’s actually linked to the hospital but that didn’t spoil anything. Parking can be difficult early morning - even though there are almost 300 spaces. We had no problem when we arrived at 5:30pm. Big shout to all the staff - excellent all round! All in all we would definitely recommend for a short stay.
