Upstairs in room 15 and the other rooms along the corridor, the banged when closesd. It wasn't the residents fault, it was just the way they closed. The only fault I could find. The staff were friendly, room was clean and bed comfortable, quiet and peaceful too. Tea, coffee, biscuits, shampoo, shower gel etc were all good as well. They have a bowls club behind the hotel that you can watch or maybe participate if wanted. This review is for upstairs room 15... Very good

The room a little dated but was a good size and clean. It had all of the basic facilities you would expect, except there was no refrigerator, which was surprising. The staff were very friendly and the hotel is situated in a quite, but convenient location.

Clean and comfortable room. Decor a bit tired and needing maintenance. Staff were lovely and helpful. Went on very hot day and the rooms were super heated due to glass windows in corridor. Would return but on a cooler day!

My stay was extremely disappointing. The bed was far too soft and provided no back support. I asked if I could change rooms or have the mattress replaced, but both requests were refused. As a result, I was so uncomfortable that I ended up sleeping in my car. The following morning, I also found ants in the toilet, which only added to the poor experience. The staff assured me that the manager would contact me to discuss a solution and how to resolve the situation. Three days later, I am still waiting. It appears that the manager is not always on the property, but regardless, I would have expected someone to follow up as promised. Overall, I found the lack of customer care and failure to address my concerns far more disappointing than the room itself.
