Great location. Easy (and enjoyable) walk to Museum Hill. Direct access to downtown (about 2 miles) yet a quiet and peaceful setting on a side road. Feels like you are away from any traffic. Actual living space is clean and welcoming. Beautiful views out every window and every direction. Well-equipped kitchen. And, we loved being able to sit outside in the courtyard. Kind and friendly hosts. We plan to return! DK & MK

My husband and I needed to get away from it all and Santa Fe did not disappoint. Our first time to stay in SF and Gary’s & Bee’s Guest House was the perfect spot for us. We met both of them during our stay, both expressing that we could contact them for any needs we had (we didn’t have any). You walk by their house to get to the guest house, but still have all the privacy you need. The house was perfect, just as described. We didn’t cook there, but in looking around, it appears you would have all you need for light cooking. The TV is a bit small, but is adequate for a little downtime in the evening if you have streaming accounts (which we do). The bed is comfortable, albeit fairly low to the ground. The house is clean and inviting with a pretty perennial garden lining the entry walk. It felt like coming home every time we returned. Being a little outside of the city proper, you can’t really walk anywhere, but everything you want to see or do, including grocery stores, are just a short drive away. We would definitely recommend Contemporary Guest House and might just stay there again ourselves!

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this property. It was roomy for two, comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. It was also in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful views but close to everything we wanted to see in Santa Fe. The hosts were very friendly and accomodating. Highly recommend!

We travel to Santa Fe frequently (4-6 times per year), and we are excited to have found this place, because it’s perfect for us. Spotlessly clean, and has everything we need. Even ceiling fans, and counter space in the bathroom, both of which can be hard to find! Thank you, Gary & Bee, for a wonderful stay.

The outside of the house looked nice , the views were amazing , it was clear where you could see all the stars at night, the sunsets and sunrises were very beautiful. The inside of the house has been neglected over the years it needed a lot of TLC. The bedroom was too crowded with the table and chair. The bed with just the mattress was uncomfortable and hard. The stove needed to be fixed so you would not have to light a match to light the burners. The shower needed to be cleaned better. The vent in the bathroom was filthy , my husband cleaned it out, there was so much dirt that came out of it . For the number of nights that my husband and I stayed there should have been enough towels and wash clothes for the entire time that we stayed not just the two towels and two wash clothes. The lock on the door was complicated to use, keep it simple. Bee did let me wash some clothes in her washer so that was nice of her letting me do that instead of going into town and washing clothes at a laundry mat. I appreciated that.

My husband and I were very pleased with this lovely casita. It had everything we needed and much more. Loved the light decor and the windows to amazing views (especially with the glistening snow on the junipers)! We came for a week to visit family, to hike in the area and of course to enjoy the food. The hosts were very welcoming. We would definitely stay here again!

The was the best of the dozens of short-term rentals I have had. The casita is thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and well maintained. Radiant heat in the floors, unlimited hot water, great lighting, including in the kitchen (unusual for a rental), high quality utensils, etc. Along with the other, usual factors, these things account for the first five stars. The other five are for the hosts, Gary and Bee. I became ill during my stay, and I found them among the kindest, most compassionate people I have ever met, even though I was a complete stranger. They went out of their way to check up on me, offer and provide help, and adjust the booking on the fly when I was too weak to travel. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Gary, the property owner, was so nice and very welcoming. The casita was perfect and very nice. We felt safe in the lovely neighborhood! I would definitely stay again and recommend this property if you are traveling to Santa Fe. Perfect location and very quiet and peaceful.

The Santa Fe Guest House was exactly as listed, clean, and conveniently located for all of our travels and adventures. Our host, Gary, was very easy to communicate with and helpful when asked. We definitely would stay here again when in Santa Fe.

The location of this property is just perfect. Near old Santa Fe as well as Museum Hill, getting anywhere I wanted to go was easy. The property is quiet, with nice views of the surrounding area. Gary and Bee respected my need to have some quiet time to write and get away from the rat race. Very responsive and helpful with everything. This was my second time staying at the property, and I hope to come back again before too long.

Honestly, perfect. Couldn’t have had a better experience! Gary (our host) was warm and welcoming, accessible too. The location worked so well for us during our stay. This is a very clean and comfortable modern house in a great location. Set in a quiet neighbourhood with amazing views. The house is only a 5 minute drive from downtown Santa Fe. There is everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Gary and Bee communicate quickly. I would highly recommend if you are looking to stay in Santa Fe.

We enjoyed staying in this lovely guesthouse during our Christmas visit to Santa Fe. The snowy view from the living room was beautiful. The location was great for us because we were close to local family members, Museum Hill and Canyon Road. We would stay here again and recommend it to others.

We stayed several days at this guest house. Our stay was peaceful with beautiful views of the mountains. The house had everything we needed and was close to downtown Santa Fe and hiking trails.

Great location. Easy (and enjoyable) walk to Museum Hill. Direct access to downtown (about 2 miles) yet a quiet and peaceful setting on a side road. Feels like you are away from any traffic. Actual living space is clean and welcoming. Beautiful views out every window and every direction. Well-equipped kitchen. And, we loved being able to sit outside in the courtyard. Kind and friendly hosts. We plan to return! DK & MK

This was such a nice place to stay. It was very private and peaceful. The casita was perfect. Very clean, great views, nice kitchen, bathroom and lounge area. We walked to downtown Santa Fe, did hikes and really enjoyed all that Santa Fe has to offer. Would stay here again.

We spent a week in our casita and enjoyed it. The location was perfect. It was very quiet yet very convenient for moving around Santa Fe. We had terrific views from our windows and enjoyed the wildlife. Highly recommended!

This is our favorite place to stay in Santa Fe. Just right for the 2 of us. Near Museum Hill (and a very nice arroyo for walks) as well as a short distance from downtown or any place else we want to go. Gary and Bee are excellent hosts. Friendly and present without "hovering." The place was nice, clean, and all of the necessary amenities were available. It is as pleasure to recommend this place to anyone visiting Santa Fe!DK and MK

Excellent stay in Santa Fe! Located in a safe quiet area, yet close to everything. We walked into town every day! The hosts were super friendly.The VRBO is separate from the main house and private. Great view. Highly recommend and would stay here again in a heart beat!

Everything about this casita was easy and great. Good parking, absolutely beautiful setting, clean and spacious and Gary and Bea were great hosts. It had everything you could need and was in a great location, just minutes from the capital and the plaza. I highly recommend this place and the hosts! We will definitely try to stay here again should we come back to Santa Fe.

Our hosts Gary & Bee were wonderful. Their place was exactly as they listed it. Comfortable, clean, spacious and in a great location for getting around Santa Fe.If we had can questions they would answer right away. They made our first trip to New Mexico a great experience!
