Decent hotel and friendly staff. Limited facilities, but rooms were a good size and clean. It was good that they had EV charging points there as I was doing a lot of travelling around the area over the 3 days I stayed there. I would stay at this hotel again.

This was my second visit at the Ramada. The first time was ok but this time my room wasn’t cleaned very well as on arrival I found that the previous guest had left muck on the seat & white yogurt stain on the bed throw! Food was good and the spar was clean and tidy

My husband and i went to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary here , the staff were friendly , food was lovely and the Bar was really nice, everything we needed for a lovely ,quiet ,relaxing stay .

Lovely stay, very quiet and room was large and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and pool-spa and sauna were good. Only issue was safe didn’t work and breakfast was just ok, found somewhere off-site for second morning.

Booking in fine but reception was left empty on many occasions Taxi ordered by 12hours prior to requirement by reception on the 17th for a business meeting on the 18th no show of taxi @ requested time [ 9-30am ] no show by 9-45am so had to make alternative arrangements resulting being late for meeting late for meeting Executive lounge not available no alternative offered Breakfast was of usually high standard and ambience in bar was perfect

A wonderful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Free parking in front of hotel and just a five minute walk to the Wrexham football stadium and a further five minutes to the town center. Rooms were very nice with a fridge, safe and air conditioning! I would highly recommend this lovely hotel!

Stayed here to watch a Wrexham game. Convenient. 10 minute walk to the Racecourse. Clean and efficient hotel - handled the game crowd well. Parking was a plus.

Two night stay over the Bank Holiday. Excellent customer service and attention to detail. Spotlessly clean with fresh room decor. Staff in particular were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Excellent value for money.

The staff were nice and check in/check out was easy. The room was a good size but the bedside light shades were badly badly damaged and there was a very noticeable hole in the bedding. Tbh a little bit of TLC is would have raised the standard of the room considerably.

The location was convenient for my visit. The wifi was good. There is plenty of parking space too. The room was reasonably clean but worn out. The bed was very uncomfortable and there was mould on the bathtub's sealant. The breakfast was also average at best.

Nice room, quiet. Expect basics to be working though. Engineer came promptly but TV had intermittent sound problem which was not fixed just had to be dealt with and engineer could not get safe to function. Offered a change of rooms on return after day out if latter could not be fixed, but too tired on return to be so inconvenienced. Receptionist busy on phone when returned and phone engaged later when tried to ring and engage with him. Overall clean except two drawers under the fridge unit, very dirty when wet wiped.

The room was comfortable but the carpets had definitely not been vacuumed before my arrival as I stood on a woman’s false finger nail which had been left on the floor, when I got out of the bed. This was reported to reception on checkout but nothing other than “sorry” was offered.

Good hotel for an overnight stay. Lots of convenient parking. Easy check in/out, and helpful staff. Room was spacious and clean. Bed and pillows a bit uncomfortable. Food at breakfast was okay - a bit overcooked, and limited in the healthier options.

The gent on reception when we checked in was super lovely and helpful! We had an issue with our lights but we were off out, but he still went and sorted it for us! Rooms are really lovely, very pleased with them! Great facilities, room nice and cool with the AC. Bed also comfortable, lovely pillows! Bonus findind a mini fridge! Would absolutely stay here again! :)

My stay was comfortable but the hotel itself needs some renovation in the rooms. The carpet was disheveled in places and furniture looked very worn. Also, the bathroom was relatively clean and surfaces was were partly okay in the bedroom but the lamps were covered in dust. The service in the bar area was lovely, bar staff were accommodating and there was a nice place to sit outside the hotel to eat and drink. I enjoyed a nice pizza for dinner as well! I think it was suitable for a business trip but I wouldn't return for another stay until there were some renovations, especially for the price.

A very big room with comfortable beds, but We did request a quiet room, away from lift noise as running the Chester marathon the day after. Checked in at 5pm ish, went into Wrexham for shopping/food. Then returned around 9pm to find we were well Away from the lift, but on floor 1 right about the disco (wedding?) which we could happily sing along to! So much for the quiet room! And yes, we could have asked for a change of room, but at this time of night with a full car park? Disappointed to be fair

After a long journey - I was looking forward to a good nights rest- room service burger came up quickly and was good- then came the feeling I’d checked into a nightclub- until 1am The guy checking me in asked if I’d had a long journey- I was offered an upgrade to another floor however this was 12.45, I asked if the manager could contact me with no response- room was fine - although starting to look tired , carpet stains and bathroom finishes- breakfast next morning was good and fresh but the reception team member was not equipped to deal with my complaint - I appreciate its the Party season but as lone traveller looking for a good nights sleep I would think twice about using this hotel for future visits to Wrexham which will become more frequent over the next few months

Staff were great but many times the front desk was unmanned and there was no way on getting the staff there. The smoking area is directly outside the main entrance, as there was a birthday party being held there there was a constant crowd smoking. You had to walk throug the smoke coming in or out. There was shouting in the corridors late at night.

Friendly welcome, attentive staff and mist enjoyable bar snack. Overnight stay before early hospital appointment so no breakfast. Check in and out was simple and flawless. Thank you everyone for making our stay a pleasurable experience. Will definitely recommend this hotel.

Lovely stay for two nights . Hotel staff very friendly, gave good knowledge of the area and recommended places to eat . The man on reception both Wednesday and Thursday evening was lovely ! He went above and beyond .

Booking in fine but reception was left empty on many occasions Taxi ordered by 12hours prior to requirement by reception on the 17th for a business meeting on the 18th no show of taxi @ requested time [ 9-30am ] no show by 9-45am so had to make alternative arrangements resulting being late for meeting late for meeting Executive lounge not available no alternative offered Breakfast was of usually high standard and ambience in bar was perfect

Left an expensive set of earphones in the room .. Izzi on reception was more than helpful in locating them and assisting in getting them returned to my home …. Excellent service..

Very let down & disappointed with my last minute stay at The Ramada, Wrexham. My room was next to the plant room - sounded like a tumble dryer was on all night! The restaurant was closed due to a `Kings of Leon pre-party` that customers had not been made aware of. Ordered an Uber-eats instead. Rude woman serving in the restaurant for breakfast - not good!

Serious staff shortages! More reception staff needed. Also you had a trainee receptionist left on his own - he was trying his best but there were at least 5 frustrated customers waiting and at least one of them walked out of the hotel. Ok another occasion I could not get the heating to work in my room. I called reception and they said someone would be with me in 10-15 mins. After waiting an hour I called back and the receptionist explained he was on his own and there was no one else to help. Your staff shortages are having a detrimental effect on customer service standards at this hotel.

Visited the university, 15 minute walk or 5 minutes by car, town about 20 minutes walk. Hotel was very clean, staff friendly, plenty of choice for breakfast.

The room was perfect for our needs. The front desk staff was very helpful. It is about a 10-15 min walk to Wrexham General station/Wrexham FC stadium and about 25 mins to city centre.

A wonderful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Free parking in front of hotel and just a five minute walk to the Wrexham football stadium and a further five minutes to the town center. Rooms were very nice with a fridge, safe and air conditioning! I would highly recommend this lovely hotel!

Stayed here to watch a Wrexham game. Convenient. 10 minute walk to the Racecourse. Clean and efficient hotel - handled the game crowd well. Parking was a plus.

I just had one night here and enjoyed my stay. Walked to the City Center only about 10 minutes and met some really nice locals. The staff were friendly and the room was well appointed and layed out nicely. Great TV with many channels to choose from.

Good hotel for an overnight stay. Lots of convenient parking. Easy check in/out, and helpful staff. Room was spacious and clean. Bed and pillows a bit uncomfortable. Food at breakfast was okay - a bit overcooked, and limited in the healthier options.

Room was really nice and spacious. Very comfy bed. Food was nice but very over priced. Cod and chips was £17.95 but the cod was a kids size.

I booked because the hotel was closest to the medical facility my partner & I needed. A traumatic procedure was booked involving fasting for 24 hrs before it so we were looking forward to a nice dining experience afterwards. Because of a block booking, apparently by a coach party, ( 1 COACH ), were told there wasn't room for any other hotel guests. Though bar meals were available the setting wasn't exactly comfortable, no prior information had been extended either. The room had a complimentary shower gel, ( dispenser was empty, ) & a drinks bar with nothing in it, though the fridge continually dripped water all over it's cabinet. Could have informed reception but don't think I should have to & figured they probably knew anyway. Facility was clean, bed was comfortable, though the aircon struggled & the staff were friendly & helpful apart from 1 exception. Wouldn't stay again unless had to.

My husband and i went to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary here , the staff were friendly , food was lovely and the Bar was really nice, everything we needed for a lovely ,quiet ,relaxing stay .

One night stay. Hotel has dedicated car parking and is close to a bus route to the centre of Wrexham. Decided to take up the breakfast option and were very impressed.

This hotel has the "Luxury" tag on Hotels.com and is 4 star... perhaps it was when it opened and maybe if you think back to the late 90's early 2000's. Now though, it could do with bringing in to the present day with a modern refurb. It's very dated, think business travellers and conferences and you are along the right track, if you are wanting luxury it's not. That said the price, the food and drink (price, options, and quality), and the staff were all very good. The room, aside from the décor being stuck in the past, was clean and tidy, very "American chain hotel" with it's unstocked chargeable mini fridge, letter writing material on the desk, and card to pass to reception offering to supply the small toiletry items you may have forgotten to pack. Sky TV was available, weirdly with sports subscription but not movies. We used the Jacuzzi and sauna in the afternoon (which were both dated but clean), ate in the bar as the restaurant was closed due to lack of footfall, and had a few drinks before heading into town. Breakfast in the morning had a vast choice of hot and cold options, and check out was nice and simple. For what we paid it was nothing special, but did the job.
