Clean rooms but breakfast area not great. We stayed as a family, and despite messaging the hotel 4 days before arrival about the sleeping arrangements for the children, the hotel didn't respond to the message and then set the beds up wrong, resulting in us needing to make up a bed ourselves on the floor for our daughter. When we came to check in, there was nobody at the check in desk and we had to hunt around trying to find someone - eventually we asked at the bar and they went and found somebody. We booked for a special family celebration and hoped we could have an evening meal in the restaurant. We tried to book with 7 days' notice, but sadly, because there was a small wedding, the hotel seemed unable to cater for anything else, and we were told there was no availability after 6pm until after 8.45pm! The reason being that the kitchen wouldn't be able to cope. We checked again on arrival and were told the same story. We were forced to walk into town and find something to eat there instead. Disappointing and not what we imagined for a special family weekend away! The breakfast although tasty was very limited and the cold meats and cheeses were virtually empty and weren't replenished despite there being over an hour left to close of breakfast. No bread rolls? It felt understaffed and the staff were trying their best but were struggling to keep up. It was an average stay with polite staff, but the hotel could possibly be managed/staffed better to cater for all guests.

Milford hall hotel is a hidden gem. Only 10 mins walk from Salisbury town centre. The staff just can't do enough for you and take pride in making your stay is a wonderful experience. The room we stayed in has recently been refurbished to a high quality. Massive comfi, bed beautiful bathroom and a mini fridge. High cleanliness standard. They even went to the trouble of leaving a delicious dessert in our room with a heartfelt greeting card to wish us a happy anniversary. We will definitely be returning. Thank you

Staff were very nice. Check in was easy. Room clean and cool, it was a hot day outside. Car park was very busy but we managed to squeeze in, cost £10p night. Breakfast was ok. Choice for cooked breakfast was ok but not very hot, buffet style. Hotel is located close to a busy road, this did not impact our stay at all but the area is a little run down.

Staff were extremely helpful & friendly. Good facilities, close to Salisbury Cathedral & easy drive to Stonehenge. Bed & facilities in the room were excellent.
