We were staying overnight so as to be in the area. Friendly staff on arrival and departure and offered services of the restaurant although had already eaten. Had a drink in the bar again Friendly staff and good choice of wine.

This was a lovely hotel. ALL the staff were very friendly. The rooms were spotlessly clean. Great wifi and delicious food. Also the hotel and restaurant well extremely good and excellent value. We would definitely stay here again. Also plenty of free parking and only a 10 minute drive to Silverstone.

For the money, as a sole traveller on business, it was great. Parking; clean, comfortable no-nonsense room; reasonable bar prices. Service was great, professional and very friendly.

Staff friendly until we asked one person about Disabled Bay had van with no badge parked in it and the comment was - do you think I am parking police? Not DDA very compliant but understand it is a listed building

Lovely hotel with a lot of charm. We were in the area for a weekend event and couldn’t be happier with the hotel. Easy parking, and the restaurant was also great. Sunday roast was A+!

The stay was very nice. Easy to find and a very warm welcome. Considering we arrived late and in the storm. The lady on the reception was very helpful. The overalll stay was Good. My only negative point was that the bath was very shallow and i was looking forward to a nice bath on arrival after travelling for 3hrs. Other than the bath not being deep enough, the place smelt lovely and clean. Was very Christmasy and cosy. The bed was comfortable and we really loved the place as an overall stay. Cheap too so thats always a bonus.

My wife and me stayed at the Saracens Head Towcester for 2 nights because we were attending Reggaeland at Milton Keynes Bowl on the Saturday. The hotel was lovely and clean,all the staff were very friendly and helpful we would definitely recommend this hotel 5 star 🌟

We were concerned that staying in a pub might be noisy but you couldn’t hear those in the pub or outside noise. The room was a good size, but with a character property comes a few negatives. Firstly the stairs to the second floor were steep and narrow. Floors are uneven, slope and creak. The bed was too soft for us but the pillows too hard. The room was far too hot even after switching off the towel rail. A fan is provided and was kept on overnight but didn’t make much difference. The window was small and would be hard to reach if short, I’m 5’7 and struggled to reach the blind cord. The shower screen didn’t fit properly so the floor became soaked. Location was good, especially for Silverstone circuit.

Lovely hotel ,only issue we had was our room was above the old coach doors ..by god they was noise when closing at night ...was asleep and really banged and scraped shut ,woke me with a real startle...again when opened in the morning.

We stayed in a room only basis and it cost £150 a night. We thought it was quite expensive for a room that was quite “tired” and old fashioned. However, the bed was big and comfortable. The room and bathroom was clean.

Stayed here several times but never on the 3rd floor. Room 19 shower was a dribble. There is virtually no wayer pressure in this room. Bed was small. The hotel is a quirky old coaching inn, which is part of its charm. Next time ill request to stay in another room.

Staff were excellent ( the one thing that really matters) the lady at check in helped take our bags to our room . Charlotte and the other two young people serving in the restaurant were brilliant and so was the food and drinks

Lovely hotel in the centre of Towcester. Very clean, nice room and excellent restaurant on site. Parking available, would definitely recommend . 😁

Staff were excellent ( the one thing that really matters) the lady at check in helped take our bags to our room . Charlotte and the other two young people serving in the restaurant were brilliant and so was the food and drinks

Easy to find & park, lovely accommodation, clean comfortable rooms, friendly efficient staff, good prices in the bar (had very nice pie & chips) & fab choice of great food at breakfast. Highly recommended!

Lovely hotel with a lot of charm. We were in the area for a weekend event and couldn’t be happier with the hotel. Easy parking, and the restaurant was also great. Sunday roast was A+!

Great hotel. Spacious rooms. Lovely building and area. Staff were great particularly Jo who was extremely helpful with us all (12 guests). Will definitely return.

Breakfast was good, but not amazing,👍, very much guest-house style , nice option for cooked breakfast, limited continental style . Pub meals also Ok , lots of different spaces to eat, unfortunately the beer-garden was the carpark, so no relaxing outside space. But therefore had good parking for a town-centre Inn,

Good points: Clean, friendly and good location. Bad points: Noisy. Lots of road noise as windows are not great. Can hear all bar noise when in bed. Shower and hot water awful.

My best description for this hotel is that it is ok. It’s what you can expect from a three star hotel. Very basic bedroom with old creaky furniture and old bathroom fittings. Road noise from front facing rooms is not good. Some staff were not great or helpful but location is good, breakfast is good. All in all it was ok but wouldn’t choose to return.
