We were first put in a room that was very dirty. The floors hadn't even been swept and the vanity desk at the back of the room was ripped from the wall. The mattresses were larger than the bed frames which was odd. The internet didn't work so they put us in a better room. The internet in the second room worked but still wasn't too reliable. This room was average at best but still in very rough condition. The sink did not drain and the bathtub didn't look like it have ever been cleaned. The hotel was really isolated so we didn't feel terribly safe. We did notice police in the parking lot so perhaps they do regular checks. The people at the check in desk were, however, quite pleasant.

The staff member was friendly and had I sought out help, they would have likely helped but I don’t think there’s much help for this facility short of a bulldozer. It is sort of conveniently located just south of Toledo but a smidge weird to get to once you get off of the expressway…and don’t miss your turn or you’ll be driving through a semi-truck graveyard swerving around a few chasm-sized potholes in what used to be some type of industrial area. The room smelled as if it was a smoking room and after smoking a few packs in the room 20 years ago, they boarded up the doors…that is, until I booked a room and they quickly tried to get the smell out of the walls. The description described a room with a microwave and fridge and it had neither. The tv would’ve been great, had the remote been in the room. The mount for the fire alarm was empty on the wall, but good news, the actual fire alarm was in a drawer in the tv stand (but the remote was no where to be found). Lighting certainly left a lot to be desired but I’m afraid if there was anymore light, I would’ve spotted more issues. Oh, and I had to walk very carefully up the exterior stairs, as there was so much rust, I was concerned that with too much aggression in my steps, they would’ve collapsed. I did mostly sleep through the night and I only needed it for a quick one-night stay, and it accomplished that. However, next time I’ll choose elsewhere.

This property in under repair and should have some key items fixed before having guests. There are no lighted signs or directional signs to help find the motel after dark. Outside of property needs to be free from debris. Ice machine not available. Parking area needs better lighting. Staff was helpful and explained property ownership recently changed but new owners should make renovations before opening

Truck stop area not much in immediate area, was safe. Redone floors and good bed TV microwave, frige all working. Small rolling chair, shop worn table. Room was clean. Good shower bars and handicapped height toilet. Spare bedside comode stand, not sure why. Evcellent people at check in.

This place is a dump. Literally this is an abandoned motel with a few rooms half made up to rent out. Dirty, moldy, ugly, isolated. Dim lights, no chairs, no iron. No wifi! Straight out of a horror movie. Please do not list and trap guests in this hell hole. Had to stay the night because I can not drive at night. Nightmare!

The room was large. But it's falling apart - the stairs are rusty and feel unsafe. It looks run down on the outside. The rooms have been updated, but in the first room their was a roach. Cheaper than other hotels in the area. The 'breakfast' is not the big, delicious breakfasts normal hotels have. Prepare to stop somewhere for a real one.

There were bungi cords holding the doors shut, the floor was covered in snow, the heat did not work, the water was cold, there were holes in the walls, no blankets or comforters...just sheets on the bed, no lighting at night. In all actuality, once there we figured that it was a trucking motel.

We booked for two nights visiting family in the area. This place should not even be open. Mold in bathroom (along with crayon markings on tile and door), filthy air vent, Plaster falling off outside of bathroom wall, very unsanitary and felt unsafe. We DID NOT stay the second night. I will see what the Corporate office will do. Super 8 should not allow this disrepair to go unnoticed.

Absolutely disgusting place. Staff was sleeping when we walked in. Given a room that had stains on the mattress, stains in the tub, room dirty and falling apart. I will be calling the health inspector. This place needs to be shut down.

Room was not clean. Puddle of water on floor from mopping. No waste basket. No hair dryer, . Motel did not match the picture online, neither inside or outside. This was the worst motel room I’ve ever stayed in. I ansked a police officer if it was safe to stay there. No smoke alarm, broken vent in bathroom. Frayed electrical cord on lamp. Glass door on ice machine broken laying on the ground. No telehone to front desk.Exhaust fan broken in bathroom. Toilet ran all night. No mirror in bathroom. It's cheap for a reason! There was various hair on every possible surface in the room, mostly the sheets. There was food crumbs, hair, and possible bodily fluids on the bed. Muddy footprints on the floor. Ceiling caving in. Brown water. No blanket. Do not stay here if you have another option. The only good thing about this place was the nice man at the front desk.

The blanket had holes in it and the wifi wasn't working, but the staff was really nice and very helpful. Also, I appreciated that the breakfast included pancakes but I like to have eggs when I'm at a hotel and that wasn't offered the night I stayed. Bagels were also a great option. Although, I wish they had a microwavable egg breakfast option for protein instead of just carbs.

There were abandoned automobiles in the parking lot with flat tires. The outside trashcans were overflowing. The grass/landscape had not been addressed in a long time. The windows in the office/front desk looked horrible. Can light fixtures were coming out of the ceiling in our room above the jetted tub. One small trash can for the whole room. Three pillows for a king bed. All of the furniture had chips of paint. The room smelled of old cigarettes. On a positive note, the microwave and refrigerator were both clean. We didn't have any bugs, dead or alive. All of this for $ 143. Who could stay for more than one night?

The locale is "industrial," to put it as nicely as possible, While the room was clean, the exterior had lots of trash and an overflowing bin. There are two cars in the lot that haven't moved in a long time, judging by the very flat tires. The toilet ran continuously and vigorously at all times. I slept fine, but a simple, inexpensive repair would save a lot of water. I also had occasion to use the office bathroom while waiting for my room to be ready and had to reach into the tank to pull the flush chain. Another really inexpensive fix.

The room was large. But it's falling apart - the stairs are rusty and feel unsafe. It looks run down on the outside. The rooms have been updated, but in the first room their was a roach. Cheaper than other hotels in the area. The 'breakfast' is not the big, delicious breakfasts normal hotels have. Prepare to stop somewhere for a real one.

The new gal at the front desk was helpful but it was almost as if she knew the room was really dirty but was really able to offer anything else. I booked a non smoking room. The room was so disgusting the nicotine was dripping down the walls, areas that had never been swept, the conditioner was on full blast couldn't be changed smelled of mildew and smoke, remote not set up for TV couldn't turn on so i did manually big mistake, couldn't adjust the volume and then couldn't get it to turn off even with the button so i unplugged it. I checked in at 3am so i really didn't have many other options. It was really gross. The door was supposed to be white but almost black and couldn't hardly get it closed. Didn't feel safe at all. It was really sad. I couldn't even shower or walk on the floor anywhere without shoes. It looks like they were painting outside, if i were you I'd clean and paint inside first then you can generate more business. Not an experience i want to repeat.

Host was very friendly and helpful. Quickly moved us to a second room when first room did not have all the amenities advertised. Room was old and a bit run down. Shower luke warm, no tv remote, no bed blanket, cigarette hole in bed spread, tub faucet leaks. However it was quiet and peaceful.

Convenient location just off freeway and very affordable rates. Property was old and outdated, and the room and finishings were cheap and dirty. They appear to be renovating the property, which is akin to putting lipstick on a pig, with low quality finishes and poor workmanship. Overall, you get what you pay for.

False Advertisement. Rooms are not the same and not available. Pictures are not this property. I took two hours for expedia to find me another room. I sat in my car for two hours in pure frustration. I will probably never use the site again. This is my second tome having issues. Last time my card was tripple charge. All i wanted was my money back...instead i got stuck with outsourcing that couldn't speak clear English. Aweful experience.

Truck stop area not much in immediate area, was safe. Redone floors and good bed TV microwave, frige all working. Small rolling chair, shop worn table. Room was clean. Good shower bars and handicapped height toilet. Spare bedside comode stand, not sure why. Evcellent people at check in.

I reserved my stay a week ahead of time. I even called to make sure I had my double bed reserved and to inform them that we would be arriving late. They told me no problems. On the night, as we were driving up to the hotel, I got a call from them telling me that they did not have a double bedroom for me. But that they had contacted another hotel 15 minutes further we from their hotel. And that it would not cost me any more money to go there. I asked them to text me the new address and hotel name. They just sent me the address of 1800 Miami road, Toledo, Ohio. I got to the new hotel at 8:30 pm. When I checked in, the person told me that they had indeed gotten the call from the other hotel, and they had me a double bed room. But when I had to pay, they informed me that I had to pay a additional $10. I was too tired to argue about $10 because we had to get up at 4 am. I asked about a wake-up call, and I was told that they did not have one. I asked about an alarm clock, there was none. So I was very disappointed in this whole process. And Expedia needs to look at the reviews for the Super 8 at Milbury rd Toledo. There were a lot of complaints about it being very dirty

The hotel desk girl was nice, the property was run down and road completely unmaintained. The rooms were extremely dirty and had bugs....I wouldn't recommend it if it was free but the rudeness of the owner or whoever the older lady was definitely was the worst of all! I would have asked for a refund but I knew that was a pointless endeavor!

The sink was clogged and it took them 3 daya to come fix it, i had to bug them to come fix it. Then the toilet backed up and they ignored me 2 times to come fix it, we checked out with it never getting fixed. There was burn holes in the bed, the bathroom door was busted at the bottom. They do not clean your room. There was not a front desk person available at all times. They charged my card with charges i had to dispute with me bank because no one would answer the phone to tell me why they charged my card. They would not give you towels or garbage bags until they were done flipping rooms. The area around the hotel had trash LITERALLY EVERY WHERE! That was the NASTIEST, DIRTIEST, RUDEST hotel we have ever stayed at. We will NEVER stay there again, the only reason we did not leave immediately is because of unforeseen circumstances. DO NOT STAY HERE! expedia should take them off their website!!

The room we got was also disgusting, so I’m not sure how it could cost more to stay at Miami Suites than the super 8, unless that one is way worse.

There is a lot of gas stations for semis and stuff this motel is at the end of a road that has been cut off to the main highway. The surrounding area is run down rocks more for semi trucks or monthly stays for people working in the area temporarily. It is not as scary or ugly as it seems. Had a quiet evening I can't give it a four star overall just because it is quite old and rundown minimum things wrong such as light fixtures the chrome is worn off light bulbs missing. It was perfect for the price for us to just get our head on the pillow and cleaned up so that we could leave the next morning to our next destination far away. The manager on call helped us out. They had already shut off available rooms for the night to all the services. But some reason three online companies were still allowing rooms to be rented. There was 10 people with reservations and I happen to be the first to show up and they made sure they found a room for me Don't know about the other nine. They did what they could I think they were limited because of getting rooms cleaned. I did show up at 10:00 at night. I'm not saying I would stay here again for a longer stay but it did allow us to sleep.

There was a sketchy guy walking around holding a handgun and watching me drive to my room. The people in the next room immediately opened their door and stood in the doorway smoking cigarettes and watching me unpack my car. A guy on the second floor was actively cooking drugs right outside his room... I returned my room key and left as quickly as I could.

The staff member was friendly and had I sought out help, they would have likely helped but I don’t think there’s much help for this facility short of a bulldozer. It is sort of conveniently located just south of Toledo but a smidge weird to get to once you get off of the expressway…and don’t miss your turn or you’ll be driving through a semi-truck graveyard swerving around a few chasm-sized potholes in what used to be some type of industrial area. The room smelled as if it was a smoking room and after smoking a few packs in the room 20 years ago, they boarded up the doors…that is, until I booked a room and they quickly tried to get the smell out of the walls. The description described a room with a microwave and fridge and it had neither. The tv would’ve been great, had the remote been in the room. The mount for the fire alarm was empty on the wall, but good news, the actual fire alarm was in a drawer in the tv stand (but the remote was no where to be found). Lighting certainly left a lot to be desired but I’m afraid if there was anymore light, I would’ve spotted more issues. Oh, and I had to walk very carefully up the exterior stairs, as there was so much rust, I was concerned that with too much aggression in my steps, they would’ve collapsed. I did mostly sleep through the night and I only needed it for a quick one-night stay, and it accomplished that. However, next time I’ll choose elsewhere.

This property in under repair and should have some key items fixed before having guests. There are no lighted signs or directional signs to help find the motel after dark. Outside of property needs to be free from debris. Ice machine not available. Parking area needs better lighting. Staff was helpful and explained property ownership recently changed but new owners should make renovations before opening

I arrived around 930p and the guy at tbe iffice was fine, but the location is VERY smetchy and seemed weird. Got my room with my baby! Which was a walk to the second floor which was the first bad thing, got to the room which i felt unsafe doinh ans the light switch didnt work, the smoke alarm was beeping and i immediately said to myself, nope! This isnt it! The room looked huge feom what i could see but i felt completly unsafe. I went back to the office to retuen my key and there was a lady at the desk and she was very nice and understood and knew it wasnt going to be for me ans a baby. Im pretty sure its more of a trucker motel for sure. So no dont bring your family..just tour lot lizard lol..but fr!

I chose this location based solely on price. I got what I paid for. The locale is "industrial," to put it as nicely as possible, While the room was clean, the exterior had lots of trash and an overflowing bin. There are two cars in the lot that haven't moved in a long time, judging by the very flat tires. The toilet ran continuously and vigorously at all times. I slept fine, but a simple, inexpensive repair would save a lot of water. I also had occasion to use the office bathroom while waiting for my room to be ready and had to reach into the tank to pull the flush chain. Another really inexpensive fix.

It was not what I expected. The pictures online were a misrepresentaton of the property. Office staff was no where to be found at checkout time. The parking lot made the FDR Drive in NY look like a well paved road. The only upside was the room was clean.

There were bungi cords holding the doors shut, the floor was covered in snow, the heat did not work, the water was cold, there were holes in the walls, no blankets or comforters...just sheets on the bed, no lighting at night. In all actuality, once there we figured that it was a trucking motel.

The blanket had holes in it and the wifi wasn't working, but the staff was really nice and very helpful. Also, I appreciated that the breakfast included pancakes but I like to have eggs when I'm at a hotel and that wasn't offered the night I stayed. Bagels were also a great option. Although, I wish they had a microwavable egg breakfast option for protein instead of just carbs.

There were abandoned automobiles in the parking lot with flat tires. The outside trashcans were overflowing. The grass/landscape had not been addressed in a long time. The windows in the office/front desk looked horrible. Can light fixtures were coming out of the ceiling in our room above the jetted tub. One small trash can for the whole room. Three pillows for a king bed. All of the furniture had chips of paint. The room smelled of old cigarettes. On a positive note, the microwave and refrigerator were both clean. We didn't have any bugs, dead or alive. All of this for $ 143. Who could stay for more than one night?

The building was in pretty rough looking shape with garbage cans overflowing and doors either missing locks or being busted into. (Our door was fine) Our room’s refrigerator didn’t work, but other than that was fine. I was just looking for a place to stay for a few days and I got that. The heat in the room was great, the tv worked fine and I felt safe. It’s not the greatest place in the world, but I wasn’t expecting it to be with the price I payed. It got the job done in regards to what I needed it for.
The building was in pretty rough looking shape with garbage cans overflowing and doors either missing locks or being busted into. (Our door was fine) Our room’s refrigerator didn’t work, but other than that was fine. I was just looking for a place to stay for a few days and I got that. I did not feel safe here. Very dirty, run down, lots of piles of garbage all over the place. Needs a lot of cleaning. I understand that renovations were happening, and there was a powerline down, but idk man. Needs a lot of work. Front desk person was kind and let me look at rooms before I stayed. Asbesotos street-cat who was living in the air conditioner unit was the highlight of my trip. "Ocean" was a very good kitty. Oreo was also nice.
