Breakfast was great. Note: not the hotel’s fault, but Parking was less available and more expensive than the Expedia listing showed - but if you use the lot across the street you only have to pay during the daytime and it works out a lot cheaper. The hotel was average. Not a normal problem there: It was very warm in Alta the week we were in town. They have no air conditioning, and so we had to leave the windows open - which meant we could not sleep well due to noise and light (the sun doesn’t set up there). They also have no fans - which is weird, as most places we stayed up there had small fans you could use to move air into the room - but this hotel didn’t. It would behoove them to buy a stock of fans to keep for the odd days when it is warm. The stuff in the area is fairly touristy and expensive but easy enough to find a decent restaurant to walk to.

Alt i alt veldig greit. Personalet meget hyggelig! Likte også duften av hånd-og dusjsåpen - ikke for sterk lukt. Men det har vært varmt, hotellrommet var varmt og dyna kanskje i tykkeste laget. - Ble opplyst om rimeligere parkering en anelse lenger unna, men ankom så sent på natta at vi ikke orket å flytte bilen. Frokosten var helt ok, veldig hjelpsom og hyggelig service der også!

Petite surprise. Pour la première fois je suis arrivé avec une voiture et j'ai découvert que le grand parking juste devant l'hôtel ne leur appartient pas, et qu'il est payant. Je n'ai pas regardé les détails concernant les heures, le parking derrière l'hôtel est payant de 10h00 à 20h00. Pour le reste, accueil, chambre, petits déjeuners,etc...tout est parfait.

Eigentlich wollte ich das Hotel schlechter bewerten. Aber das wäre nicht richtig. Eins vorweg : das angepriesene Schwimmbad ist geschlossenen. Die Badehose kann zuhause bleiben. Das Personal bei der Anmeldung sollte man bei Problemen nicht kontaktieren. Den Ticketautomaten sollte man korrekt bedienen, sonst sind 660 Kronen fällig. Was mir passiert ist und ich dann auch noch komplett falsch geschickt wurde um das Missverständnis aufzuklären. Was aber nirgendwo gelang. Auch muss man extra ein Schild an die Tür hängen wenn man bei mehrtägigen Aufenthalt das Zimmer zwischendurch gereinigt haben möchte. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist super. Es wird immer aufgefüllt und auch benutzte Teller sofort abgeräumt. Wenn man zur falschen Zeit zum Frühstück kommt kann es sein das man etwas warten muss.

Kjempe flotte rom til en god pris. Stort og rent bad, skikkelige gode senger, hyggelige folk som jobber dær og frokosten er jo bare heelt fantastisk. Et hotell man skal dra tilbake til. Ja også samarbeider de med treningssenteret rett over gata, hvor du da får et kort i resepsjonen og kan dra å trene. Kjempe fornøyd.

rommet var trangt for 2 personer. på badet hang det kabler overspeilet, det lå hår i et hjørne under vasken, så det når man satt og nøt stillheten på toalett sete. frokosten var fortreffelig med koselig vertskap. der får dere en kjempe pluss.

Bra opphold, god servuce, stille og rolig, god frokost. Tok en dusj og skulle bruke håndkle, oppdaget plutselige en brunflekk som ikke var "inni" håndkledet ", æ tenkte med engang på bæsj. Skrev dette på papiret som lå på skrivebordet, men glemte dessverre å si ifra på resepsjonen og ta bilde. Ellers et trivelig opphold.

Hotellet og betjeneingen var bra. Men det var et veldig dårlig og usikkert wifi-nett. Det var så usikkert at at min pc ikke ville la meg bruke det. Jeg hadde behov for å jobbe under oppholdet, men det ble helt umulig. Jeg endte opp med å klage til resepsjonisten som ga med tilgang til et lukket nettverk. Stor takk til han.

There is very good, rich breakfast, friendly staff but unfortunately at least 3 of those members were quite useless in helping us to get that wi-fi. For all our 3 days of stay there was a lot of problem with the wi-fi, including the totaly wrong instructions how to get it. Those instructions were given to us in a small peace if paper together with the key-card. The rooms are with big, comfortable, clean bed and linens but the space in the room is very tiny, so if you are a couple, you will be bumping accidently to each other, stapping on each other feet, nocking things around or stepping on peaces of your luggage. And we are both slim people. I can't even imagine how hard it could be if the customer is of a bigger body-type: taller or wider.

I had very disappointing experience at this hotel. when I picked up the two suitcases I had left with the hotel before check-in, both were partly open. One had a cover, but when I removed it, I found that about two-thirds of the zipper was undone. The other suitcase had a lock, but somehow it had been opened, the insider zipper was undone,and some of my clothes had been fallen out. I tried to report this, but there was no phone in the room. when I went down to the reception, it was crowded with people checking in. After trying twice,I gave up as I could not find what had gone missing. Overall, I cannot recommend leaving your luggage with this hotel.

Fick ett rum utan vattenkokare och koppar, men det löstes under dagen. Tyvärr öppnade städerskan dörren utan att knacka först, några timmar senare öppnades dörren igen, då av turister som fått samma rum som jag, känns lite sådär obekvämt!

This is a great hotel right in the centre of Alta, close to the cathedral. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was great. I’d definitely stay again.

Hotellet er godt plassert midt i Alta. Med Nordlysbadet og Nordlyskatedralen som naboer. Hotellet består av en gammel og en ny fløy, bodde i de nye fløyen med fine rom. OK frokost, savnet kanskje muligheten til parkering inne.

This is a great hotel right in the centre of Alta, close to the cathedral. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast was great. I’d definitely stay again.

Great stay. Very helpful staff. Breakfasts are very good. Also has access to the municipal 25m swimming pool. Would strongly recommend. The view from our bedroom of the Northern Lights over the Cathedral was a real bonus!

I don't understand charging for a room that is ready and you're just 1 hr ahead of checkin time. The room was the worst I've ever been in, the size of a closet plus there wasn't a plug in to utilize the blowdryer and the sink was backing up. You could barely get around the bed and I don't understand the shower door design, sprays water all over the counter, no matter how you pointed the water. We did get moved the next day to a larger room.
