Nice large room with nice view of Cathedral northern light..next to the mall with lot of choices of restaurants and supermarket. Only downside parking not belong to hotel so have to pay 150 nok. Still it's a good hotel to stay..

Thon er et godt alternativ når en besøker Alta. Minuset denne gang var at en ikke kunne få kjøpt middag mellom kl 18 og 2030 i restauranten fordi de ventet en gruppe som skulle inn å spise. Det er for dårlig siden det for tiden er dårlig med restauranter i Alta pga noen konkurser. Thon bure smi mens jernet er varmt

Vi var her fra søndag til tirsdag. Restauranten var ikke åpen. Søndag ble prioritert til buss gjester. Det var ikke mulighet å få v@rm mat de 2 dagene. Søndag måtte vi ut å gå i regnvær for å finne noen plass å spise. Ikke holdbart at hotellet ikke har varm mat å tilby sine gjester. Vi bor nok ikke her flere gang.

There are only three restaurants in the area to eat from during the holiday season. The hotels restaurant was very good, as was the Pepe Pizza next to the hotel, and Erica’s was ok. Alta is beautiful, and the area offers a few thongs to do during winter: dog sledding, Sami reindeers, Alta Museum (rock carvings), snow shoe hiking, etc. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. The rugs can use a deep cleaning, but overall very good hotel. Had a false alarm, but quickly informed guests of the situation. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will come back in the future. ❤️

Camera comodissima, ampia e pulita, pratica e curata nei minimi dettagli, modernamente accessoriata (parasole elettrico, cassa audio, bollitore, ferro e asse da stiro, asciugacapelli), tenda oscurante fittissima (quando è chiusa, non entra nemmeno un filo di luce) Una magnifica vista sulla Cattedrale delle Luci del Nord. Colazione fantastica con vastissima scelta di prodotti di alta qualità, serviti con eleganza! Consigliatissimo!

God og variert frokost, men kan gjerne utsettes til kl. 10. Man må tidlig opp når man er på ferie, for å rekke frokosten. Stilige rom. Mangler air condition, som gjorde at vi badet i egen svette og ikke sovnet før utpå morgenkvisten begge nettene. Meget hyggelige og hjelpsomme resepsjonister.

Checkin was easy. Friendly lady behind the counter. Got to my room, checked everything out. Nice bathroom with futuristic mirror lighting. A way better toilet than at the Scandic Luleå. And a shower cabinet with not one, but TWO doors, creating a clear corner in the bathroom for showering, unlike the last two hotels I stayed at this trip. The room itself? HUGE. I have never stayed in a hotel room this big before. The bed was comfortable. The room was connected to a central aircon unit that gently blowed cold air into the room. This being the third night of my trip, it was the first time I actually slept under the duvet instead of having tossed it to the side. Breakfast was crowded, but that's because I got there a little later than I normally would've gotten to the buffet. In all honesty, I would've liked to have stayed another night. One: because I got late to the Tirpitz Museum outside of town and I also had other things planned. Two: because it is an amazing hotel.

Bra frokost. Måtte levere ID kort for både meg og mannen, litt vel mye for å få sjekket inn. vi fikk rom med dør inntil naborommet, heldigvis var det rolig på naborommet. vi hadde også handicap-rom, uten at vi hadde behov for det, og badet var ikke særlig trivelig.

Bra opphold. Men lite hjelpsomhet da vi ba om en enkel krakk /plaststol til å ha i dusjen. Er funksjonshemmet og sitter i rullestol. Nok en gang måtte dusjen tas sittende på gulvet

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times, and the main reason is the fantastic breakfast! I always only stay one night, so I never get to try eating dinner, but the restaurant has to be good.

There are only three restaurants in the area to eat from during the holiday season. The hotels restaurant was very good, as was the Pepe Pizza next to the hotel, and Erica’s was ok. Alta is beautiful, and the area offers a few thongs to do during winter: dog sledding, Sami reindeers, Alta Museum (rock carvings), snow shoe hiking, etc. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. The rugs can use a deep cleaning, but overall very good hotel. Had a false alarm, but quickly informed guests of the situation. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will come back in the future. ❤️

Thon er et godt alternativ når en besøker Alta. Minuset denne gang var at en ikke kunne få kjøpt middag mellom kl 18 og 2030 i restauranten fordi de ventet en gruppe som skulle inn å spise. Det er for dårlig siden det for tiden er dårlig med restauranter i Alta pga noen konkurser. Thon bure smi mens jernet er varmt

Vi var her fra søndag til tirsdag. Restauranten var ikke åpen. Søndag ble prioritert til buss gjester. Det var ikke mulighet å få v@rm mat de 2 dagene. Søndag måtte vi ut å gå i regnvær for å finne noen plass å spise. Ikke holdbart at hotellet ikke har varm mat å tilby sine gjester. Vi bor nok ikke her flere gang.

The “trout” was not pale enough even for salmon trout it was definitely salmon and tasteless so it was farmed. The check-in staff were ok but not exactly falling over themselves to be nice and helpful. The hotel itself has good facilities and was spotlessly clean. The cleaning staff were very chatty and welcoming. Ok go an overnight but there are many other places offering food which on reflection we should have used.
