Restaurant was good and modern but a lack of staff left us stood at the bar for ten minutes, went else where instead. It all seemed very empty. The rooms were cosy but really needed updating, there was also no coffee making facilities in the room. It was cleaned daily but the cleaner let herself in five minutes after breakfast finished when we were getting dressed - not very professional and wasn’t the best cleaning, more of a tidy up. For such a big hotel it was a surprise that there are no laundry facilities, especially in such an outdoor activity oriented area.

With a top of the line room we had great views of the lake and mountains. The room was large but no amenities. No in room coffee or tea. No safe. No shampoo/ conditioner. No wash clothes. Also no laundry service but the staff did take our laundry to another town and washed and dried it which was over and beyond what they had knowledge of.

Hôtel vieillissant, les ascenseurs ne fonctionnaient pas lors de notre séjour, chambre vieillissante, les lits grincent. Cependant la chambre avec vue que nous avions réservée etait bien bien équipée avec petit salon et baignoire. La vue est superbe. Hôtel calme car peu rempli, pratique avec son parking et bien situé proche du lac et du centre accessible à pied. Le monsieur à la réception était très gentil et serviable, il n'a pas hésité à proposer son aide pour les bagages en l'absence d'ascenseur. Petit-déjeuner ok

Great front desk staff. The hotel is dated and not maintained. We were on the fourth floor. Great view but the room was brutally hot, the window opened up about 10cm, and the fan was a tiny desk fan. Us and others propped open the room door with a chair to try to get a cross breeze but it barely helped. The elevator also broke and was out more than 24 hours and not fixed when we left. Luckily we can handle stairs and packed light. The restaurant staff was ok, but one night we wanted to grab a drink and just a desert. They had a tour group eating and apparently could not deal with the three of us ordering just this so we were a bit frustrated. The breakfast buffet is good. The location is ideal and beautiful. This could be a 5 star property with an investment and upgrades but it’s 2 to 2.5 stars at best.

Renslighet i rom kunne har vært bedre. Hele oppholdet var ganske greit, ikke noe spesielt når du skal beskrive hotellet. Hotel har mykje potensial!!! Hele område er helt fantastisk spesielt hvis du har hund! Gode muligheter for turgåing og utelivet!

Das ist das schlechteste Hotel in dem ich in den letzten 15 Jahren übernachtet habe. Schmutzig, laut weil Musik aus der Bar und sehr hellhörig. Keine Steckdosen im Bad, kein Fernseher der funktioniert weil kein oder schwaches Signsl- konnte niemand beheben

Hotellet ligger meget fint til, og frokosten er ok, men hotellet er i stort behov for vedlikehold. Vinduet på rommet gikk ikke å få lukket skikkelig, slitt gulvbelegg på rommet, veggene var møkkete/slitte og vegg-til-.vegg teppe i resepsjonen og gangen i hele hotellet er slitt og ødelagt

Very disgusting dirty bathrooms. The curtain bar is secured with just tension mounts and fell down on top of me while showering. Also found 5 long pieces of hair stuck to the walls of the standing tub (refer to pictures). Informed front desk night staff and they didn't address issues at all. I told the manager while checking out and they also did not address issues.

Startet med at de ikke fant bookingen. Brukte tid for å finne et rom. Fikk rom, men der var allerede noen, som de da ikke visste om. Ny venting. Nytt rom, måtte klargjøres først. ikke rengjort, antakelig kun skiftet på sengene, som forøvrig var gode. Ikke tømt søpledunker. Mugg i taket på badet. Ikke ventilasjon. Flekker på vegg og lampeskjerm, kaffe?. Dårlig organisert frokost.

Very nice location. The room is a bit dated but mainly the bathroom doesn't have a separate shower but only with a curtain so it floods to toilet. There's only one socket and not near any table for charging. No kettle either. The breakfast has a lot of options but was like warm or cold.

Fint og rolig hotell, selv om det var fullt. Da vi ankom var det 29 grader på rommet, ikke mulig å endre det på noen måte utenom å ha vinduene på vidt gap med masse måseskrik. Ellers var det god service og nydelig frokost 😍

Une chambre qui donnait sur un toit où vivaient des dizaines de mouettes furieuses, qui ont gueulé toute la nuit 😅 une chambre vieillotte année 1960c certes assez propre mais avec un gros problème de réglage de la température pour l’eau de la douche. Le système était bloqué à 60°c… on a du forcer le robinet pour descendre à des températures plus acceptables… mais pas confort du tout, pas de rideau occultant, pas possible d’ouvrir la fenêtre… hôtel en cours de rénovation donc peut être que ça va s’améliorer. Personnel très gentil et efficace. Mais hôtel trop vieillissant.

Just across from the rail station where we arrived from Oslo and the starting point of our Norway in a nutshell tour, so perfect location for us. Also enough restaurant options across the road and along the main bit of the town including gift shops. Staff are welcoming and pleasant. Room was lovely and spacious with the most gorgeous view of the lake and enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The bathroom was looking a little tired and could do with modernising i.e grouting looking a bit grey/black in places, but everywhere was clean. Nice buffet breakfast with good selection of options.

The room was a good size and the breakfast was good. The room decor was getting tired. I got two automatic emails through Expedia offering packed lunch but I got no response about contents and cost when I twice messaged the hotel asking fkr more information. Reception desk was deserted when we arrived for checking and other guests had spent 10 minutes searching the hotel trying to find someone.

+ Zimmer mit Blick auf den See, kostenfreie Parkplätze. - Das Gebäude und die Zimmer könnten eine Renovierung vertragen. Es fehlten die Handtücher auf dem Zimmer; ein Haartrockner war ebenso nicht vorhanden, obwohl er in der Beschreibung angeführt war. Der Lüfter im Bad wirbelte Staubflocken auf das Waschbecken. - Am Abend fand draußen unterhalb der Zimmer eine Veranstaltung des Hotels statt; auch nach 22 h war es noch ziemlich laut. - Das Frühstück war ok, aber im Vergleich mit anderen Hotels in Norwegen unter dem Durchschnitt. Insgesamt ist das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hier nicht angemessen.

Everything here was so nice! The staff was friendly and let us store our luggage before we checked in. You can walk right down to the path along the lake from downstairs, and right into town from the front entrance. Plus the train station is right down the street! And the free breakfast is amazing!

Restaurant was good and modern but a lack of staff left us stood at the bar for ten minutes, went else where instead. It all seemed very empty. The rooms were cosy but really needed updating, there was also no coffee making facilities in the room. It was cleaned daily but the cleaner let herself in five minutes after breakfast finished when we were getting dressed - not very professional and wasn’t the best cleaning, more of a tidy up. For such a big hotel it was a surprise that there are no laundry facilities, especially in such an outdoor activity oriented area.

Vi booket en overnatting her for å få en god mat-og vinopplevelse. De er kjent for bla vinkjelleren sin og sitt utrolig utvalg av viner. De hadde over 100 gjester til middag denne kvelden, men Robert (en av tvillingene) ordnet et flott bord til oss som ikke hadde booket bord på forhånd. Vi fikk en mat-og vinopplevelse vi gjerne opplever igjen! Nydelige viner som passet perfekt til alle rettene👌. Etter maten fikk vi også en egen tour i vinkjelleren med masse historie! Selv resepsjonisten ble glad på våre vegne da vi sjekket ut og han lurte på om vi fikk ordnet oss bord kvelden før. Det er på slike steder at hele hotellets stab engasjerer seg i en gjest, og det er unikt. Vi gleder oss til nytt besøk, og ikke minst til hotellet får "ny drakt". Vi sees igjen!

Very disgusting dirty bathrooms. The curtain bar is secured with just tension mounts and fell down on top of me while showering. Also found 5 long pieces of hair stuck to the walls of the standing tub (refer to pictures). Informed front desk night staff and they didn't address issues at all. I told the manager while checking out and they also did not address issues.

Park Hotel has a lot of rooms, a great location on the lake with lovely views, and free parking. It’s almost like a step back into the sixties/seventies…the carpet, walls, light fixtures, and furniture are all very dated and over used. Only the disco ball was missing. Breakfast was okay to good, although crowded as it seems like a lot of bus tours roll through here. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The tub was old and somewhat permanently stained. There was no place to put your opened suitcase, although the room did have a closet space with shelves and two extra pillows. It was generally quiet at the hotel except for Friday night karaoke at the bar/restaurant next door…able to nearly exclude the bad music by closing the windows but then it got a bit stuffy and warm in the room. Okay hotel but over priced.

Ligger 100 meter från tågstationen och på rätt sida vägen ned mot den vackra sjön. Har definitivt det bästa läget av hotellen i byn. Trevlig personal. Bra frukost. Rummen börjar dock bli slitna och är i behov av renovering snart. Tänk på att restaurangerna stänger tidigt i staden och det finns knappast något öppet efter klockan 21. Det finns dock en supermarket öppen till kl 23.

Just across from the rail station where we arrived from Oslo and the starting point of our Norway in a nutshell tour, so perfect location for us. Also enough restaurant options across the road and along the main bit of the town including gift shops. Staff are welcoming and pleasant. Room was lovely and spacious with the most gorgeous view of the lake and enjoyed sitting on the balcony. The bathroom was looking a little tired and could do with modernising i.e grouting looking a bit grey/black in places, but everywhere was clean. Nice buffet breakfast with good selection of options.

Very nice location. The room is a bit dated but mainly the bathroom doesn't have a separate shower but only with a curtain so it floods to toilet. There's only one socket and not near any table for charging. No kettle either. The breakfast has a lot of options but was like warm or cold.

I liked my stay here. The hotel is a bit dated but, it serves it purpose. The biggest downside was the breakfast. It's a big selection but, it looked like it got re-served day after day. I took a fried egg on day three or four and it was like it was made of plastic. The pot with bacon just got more small bits of crunchy bacon at the bottom for every day that only got darker and darker.

Relativt bråkete julebord i samme området som vi skulle sitte. Søndag var det ikke mulig å få noe kaffe eller annet etter frokost. Frokost mandag var der nesten ikke brød eller pålegg og gikk fort tomt for kaffe. Tror nok ikke det blir flere besøk her.

Very good location for Bus Station and Gondola but in need of modernization and a thorough clean Whilst breakfast was included they were running out of things by 8:30. Not worth the price.
