Scandic har ändrat incheckningstiden till 16:00 och vill man checka in innan så får man betala 200kr extra. Väldigt dåligt!!! Vad är det som kostar extra om rummet redan är ledig? Detta var sista gången jag bodde på en Scandic hotell. Helt ärligt så är just denna gammal, sliten och med hiss utan funktion (samma sak 2023 jag bodde där senast). Frukosten är väl ok, men det finns mycket bättre på andra ställen jag bott.

Hissen var ur funktion vilket var jobbigt med tungt bagage (jag fick ett rum på tredje våningen), och som kompensation för detta bjöd hotellet på knäckebröd och frukt. Jag hade hellre velat ha en prisreduktion eller något som i alla fall kändes som att det hade ett värde för mig. Saker som jag uppskattade: - Fräscht och nyrenoverat badrum. - Centralt läge nära stationen. Mindre bra: - Obekväma kuddar. - Lyhört. - Incheckningen tog väldigt lång tid. Liten men helt okej frukost.

Tog väldigt lång tid att checka in trots att vi kom sent på kvällen. Hade också varit trevligt om det vid bokningen av hotellet framgick att hela hotellet var omgärdat av byggnadsställningar och plast.....något som verkar ha varit fallet en längre tid! Rummen känns mer som gamla lägenheter än som hotellrum. Vore trevligt om uppenbara fel som tex. trasiga lampor på hotellrummen hade varit åtgärdade.

Super centralt beliggende hotel. Men det er slidt, værelser små og hele hotellet var pakket ind i stillads. Rengøring på værelse var ikke super. Fin morgenmad med et godt udvalg.

Do NOT book this hotel on a Friday or Saturday!!! There is a club right next door that plays loud music out on to the street (!) until 3am. Also, my wife found a silverfish in the bathroom, so maybe don't book it at all until they've finally finished all the renovating works going on...

Läget är fantastiskt. Byggställningarna utanför glöms snabbt bort - för du har så nära till allt. Frukosten god och rummen precis lagom stora för två. Rent fräscht och prisvärt.

Kändes väldigt basic, men trevlig personal. Väldigt kala rum. Städning ok, men ingen städpersonal var in på rummet för att åtminstone fylla på toapapper och tömma sopor - vi bodde tre nätter.

Loved this hotel. Great buffet breakfast with clean rooms and the area is all walking streets with shops and restaurants. The staff we very friendly and helpful and 10 minute walk from main train station. Would stay again for sure

Vi havde bestilt et Superior-room. Vi valgte dette værelse og dette hotel ud fra billeder på hjemmeside. Vi blev MEGET negativt overrasket da vi åbnede døren til vores værelse. Her mødte vi overhovedet ikke et værelse som så ud til det billede vi bestilte ud fra ( vi rejser meget og går altid ud fra værelsets udseende ). Slidte gamle møbler, slidt gulv, støv bag sengeborde, varmt køleskab, skægkræg på badeværelsegulv, mørke hår i håndvasken. På billedet er der lænestol, gulvtæppe, lille bord, dette var der IKKE på vores værelse! Vi boede i værelse 307. Vi fortalte det til en kvinde i receptionen, som afvidste os med at vi kunne skrive en mail. En dårlig oplevelse!!

This hotel is in a prime location, with great dining and shopping options. The staff is really friendly and the breakfast was very good. HOWEVER, there is a disco next door and the extremely loud music and building vibration went on until past 4AM. We had to get up at 7:30AM to catch a train so we were able to sleep only 3 1/2 hours. Unless you are willing to partake in that nightlife, I would not recommend this hotel. You’ll get zero sleep (at least if you are in the rooms closer to the bar/disco on days it’s open). Also, a more temporary issue: the hotel is covered in scaffolding and there is a platform for workers outside your windows, which makes it feel both unsafe and not private enough to open blackout curtains.

Välstädat men väldigt sliten inredning utan någon extra attiralj (minibar, vattenkokare etc) för göra besöket lite angenämare. Antagligen en av de sämsta sängar jag sovit i.

Vi overnattede på hotellet i feb. Vi havde fået et værelse ud mod to andre hoteller - der var meget larm fra kl 6 om morgen. Så forvent ikke at skulle sove længe 😅 man fik oven i købet udleveret ørepropper ved check ind. Vinduerne var et-lags vinduer og kunne ikke lukkes ordentligt, så temperaturen i hotelværelset var omkring 16-17 grader. Radiatorerne kunne slet ikke følge med og pumpede derudaf uden den store succes. Når man så trak gardinerne for, dækkede gardinerne for den ene radiator - det hjalp heller ikke på temperaturen. Da vi konfronterede hotellet om det, blev vi tilbud madkort til deres morgenmads buffet eller frit valg på slikhylden. Tror ikke vi kommer igen før vinduerne er blevet opdateret. Vi måtte begge ud og købe varmere tøj i form at uldstrømper og uldtrøjer som vi sov med om natten. Yderligere var hotellet pakket ind i stillads (modsat side end vores værelse). På plus siden ligger hotellet super centralt og i gå-afstand til det meste.

1人での宿泊だったため部屋はコンパクトでしたが、綺麗でとても快適でした。水道水が飲めるので、水・お湯は蛇口からそのまま使えます。部屋にはポットがないので、熱湯が必要な場合はフロントに相談して借りる必要がありました。また部屋に冷蔵庫はありません。朝食は美味しく、種類も豊富でとても良かったです。立地も中心の便利な場所で申し分ありません。ただし裏に大きなバーがあるためか深夜まで騒がしいという事は記しておきます。私にとっては寝られないほどうるさい訳ではありませんでしたが、気になる人は多いと思います。週末に宿泊しましたが、深夜2時過ぎまで酔っ払いの声が外に響いていました。ホテルの立地上、仕方のない事だと思います。

Værelset var meget lille og kun med et meget meget lille vindue til at få lidt lys ind af. Værelset var lidt nusset med støv og spindelvæv på lamperne samt ret meget slidt. Hotellet ligger super centralt, hvilket jo er skønt, men gør også at der er høj musik det meste af natten.

Great location and nice hotel. They only do check in early by paying extra which is no problem if you can choose. However, when I came back to check in at the right time, they had only one person working and a dozen passenger waiting. Eventually a second person came in.

Stayed here for a week on our trip in Malmo. Everyone we encountered working here was great. We had a slight issue with plumbing in shower but they fixed no problem so no big deal. The breakfast is excellent it’s not possible to leave there hungry. Very clean overall. We used the bike hotels many times and it was easy and great way to get around the city. WiFi is very good and water pressure is nice.

First time in Malmo/Sweden and the hotel was a perfect base for my trip. Very central, a short walk from the Train station and with loads of bus options too. The hotel itself has loads of character, very friendly staff and plenty of breakfast options. During my visit the exterior restoration/renovation was still in progress, but when completed it will be ready for another 150 years of service. Along with Lila Torg there are a number of other places and the main shopping area on your doorstep.

This hotel is in a prime location, with great dining and shopping options. The staff is really friendly and the breakfast was very good. HOWEVER, there is a disco next door and the extremely loud music and building vibration went on until past 4AM. We had to get up at 7:30AM to catch a train so we were able to sleep only 3 1/2 hours. Unless you are willing to partake in that nightlife, I would not recommend this hotel. You’ll get zero sleep (at least if you are in the rooms closer to the bar/disco on days it’s open). Also, a more temporary issue: the hotel is covered in scaffolding and there is a platform for workers outside your windows, which makes it feel both unsafe and not private enough to open blackout curtains.

This was one of my favorite hotel visits, ever. The breakfast had an outstanding variety of options (and as an American, I am all too accustomed to the bland "continental breakfast" option). All food was clearly marked for its main allergens. As a vegan, I found it extremely easy to find nutritious and delicious food options. The hotel is located centrally and is easy to access by train or bus. I very much look forward to visiting again, someday. *Note: my room, which was at the back of the building (at my request), required walking down about 3 stairs. I am only mentioning this so that those with mobility issues can potentially request a room near the front/before those stairs. There were also about three stairs to enter through the main entrance of the building.

Do NOT book this hotel on a Friday or Saturday!!! There is a club right next door that plays loud music out on to the street (!) until 3am. Also, my wife found a silverfish in the bathroom, so maybe don't book it at all until they've finally finished all the renovating works going on...

Ett centralt hotell i Malmö- tyvärr med nattklubb & torg med massor av barer runt omkring. Eftersom det är dåligt isolerade fönster hör man allt. Dessutom finns inga bra gardiner som mörklägger. Trevlig person & god frukost! nära till tågstationen, restauranger & butiker.

Bra läge men rekommenderar inte att komma med barnvagn då det är trappor till ingången och sen fick vi ett rum där vi var tvungna att lyfta barnvagnen flera trappsteg varje gång för att kunna gå till och från rummet. Eftersom vi hade bokat rummet inkl en bebis borde vi ha fått ett rum utan trappor kan man ju tycka.

We arrived very late (flight was late, then after midnight there's only one train an hour to Malmo from the airport) but it was no problem at all. The bed was a dream. The view was lovely out the window in the morning. And the breakfast. OH MY GOSH, I cannot say enough good things about that breakfast. The morning shot, the vegan and gluten free options (I'm not gluten free, but mentioning it for others), the fact that they make their own granola and use free range eggs. And the dining room was gorgeous and desk staff was so kind. I LOVED IT. I wanted to stay, but our onward journey was already booked.

Hotellets elevator var ude af drift og har været det mere end en uge. Koldt i restauranten til morgenmaden. Kedeligt morgenmad, koldt æg og bacon meget lille udvalg af morgenbrød. Et hotel der virkeligt trænger til et make over, ligner ikke et Skandic hotel standard.

Gorgeous, light, airy, great products in the bathroom. V central in the old town. It's a beautiful chain. Good food nearby and the breakfast buffet was generous and delicious.
