Rygerfjord Hotel & Hostel

Im Grunde ganz nett, super Lage. Es gibt viele Sitzmöglichkeiten draußen und drinnen mit super Aussicht Es sind halt Kajüten. Man ist ziemlich eingeengt, aber zum Schlafen ist ok. Aktuell werden 2 von 3 Schiffen renoviert, tagsüber laut und viel Bewegung

Here are the things that I loved most about this hostel/hotel: comfortable bed, cozy duvet and nice firm pillows, excellent shower (water pressure and temperature were perfect!), strong flush toilet, ample toilet paper, 2 hand towels and 2 bath towels provided, central location (15 minute walk to Old Town, 20 minute walk to Central Station/city centre), 2 major supermarkets about 300-500 metres away (Willys and ICA), on site Thai restaurant and optional breakfast (I didn't use either during my stay), friendly and helpful staff, free secure luggage storage, WC in the common area, slight movement and rocking of boat which helped me to sleep very soundly/peacefully, city maps, fully equipped kitchen for guests to use (coffee maker, kettle, oven, stove top, 2 microwaves, cooking utensils, pots and pans, plates and bowls, coffee mugs and cups, flatware, 2 massive fridges and 1 massive freezer for food storage etc.), dish soap, drying rack and sponges etc., regular housekeeping and cleaning, strong and secure wifi signal. My only minor complaint about the room was the sink. The tap didn't really line up with the sink, so water went all over the floor when I went to wash my hands. Minor annoyance, but I found the misalignment very strange!

Beautiful view from the hotel. Wish they would have mentioned that there was construction on the exterior of the hotel while I was there. A lot of the scaffolding was blocking my window/view of the water.

En reservant javais pas réalisé que c'etait sur un bateau accosté, j'avoue que j'ai adoré! La vue incroyable de ma chambre et le bar le soir c'etait parfait.

The "hotel" is actually made up of three boats moored alongside each other. Only one boat has facilities for eating and drinking which means a bit of a trek in the rain if you are in boats 2 and 3. It is quite easily accessible and easy to find from the main town centre and railway station - just follow the bridges across the river which takes 20 to 25 minutes (or use public transport, especially if you don't enjoy walking over cobbles!) The room had a bunk bed with, luckily, lighting and power close by (not always the case) and the boat had numerous showers and toilets which were shared (split between male and female units) All in all, an interesting way to spend a couple of nights on board a boat without actually going anywhere...

A budget hotel on a ship, which was a very unique experience. It owned three ships, very close to one another. The kitchen, on one of the three ships, was good, and although the room was small, considering the price, I think it was well worth it. It was a walking distance to Gamla Stan, and to Stockholm Central Station as well, so it was good for sightseeing. The only down-side was the shower. It was too hot, I had trouble adjusting the temperature, and there was little space to put my clothes. Other than that, it was a great place to stay!

Great value stay. The superior quarters were really great and well worth the upgrade! Awesome views of the water which aren’t adequately conveyed through pictures. The boats are definitely showing their age particularly on the outside but the inside was kept clean. Will certainly consider for our next stay

The staff was actively performing construction on the boat they put us in. We were woken up before 8am by the sound of loud drilling and banging. We tried to make the most of it, went and got breakfast, and came back to try and nap later in the day (when we were more tired and could try to drown out the construction noise). We slept for about 20 minutes before the construction set off the fire alarm. This hotel should NOT be making customers pay for rooms in a boat with this invasive level of construction. It was impossible to get any rest here.

Clean and fresh rooms. Not very spacious but if you’re just looking for a place to crash at night this is it. Surprisingly calm at night, polite and helpful staff in the reception.

Didn't know what to expect but we were pleasantly pleased. It was a compact little room, clean and ideal for our overnight stay. Having our own bathroom was worth paying a little bit extra.

Kun til overnatning, man har ikke lyst til at bruge mere tid der. Båden gynger meget, vi blev derfor søsyge når vi sov. Ikke de reneste toiletter og badeværelser

Very terrible place to stay. Just run away from this place if you don’t want to sleep with bugs. Everyday i was killing spiders, flies, and other bugs i even don’t know their names. Of course, sleep time they bite me as well. Very dirty rooms, bath and toilets. You don’t even stay at the main place. They send you other small ships to sleep. There are spider webs everywhere. I contacted with hotels .com to cancel my booking, pay only one night and get refund for other nights to leave the this joke property. But hotel did not allow this.

Rent. Mycket trevlig personal. Frukost jättebra.

Værelse og andet er helt OK - men der er en kloaklugt på badeværelset, og skyllet i toilettet var meget dårligt.

Everything was good. The boats are a bit old but the room was sparkling clean and the location is unbeatable.

Excellent value for your money. I stayed in a 1-person cabin with my own bathroom. The room was small, but big enough and very clean. The bathroom was clean too and you could take a hot shower without water spilling all over the floor. (That is not always the case in hotels.) The location is great, with most things within walking distance. And the view from my window overlooking the water was excellent! (I can imagine the room getting pretty hot in the summer though.)The only staff I talked to was the guy who did the check-in and he was really nice/trevlig. I would highly recommend for shorter stays in central Stockholm!

Cleanliness

The only problem is that the room can be too hot sometimes and it gets hard to breathe. Other than that everything was great!

Sängen var usel med en "grop" i mitten. Har bott där tidigare och fått en betydligt bättre. Annars så fräscht och fint som man kan förvänta sig på en båt av den klassen. Bra personal och frukost.

Very hard beds, basically like laying on the ground. If you got back issues of any sort, find something else. But for the cheap price its a very solid option overall.

We took a chance on this place based on the superior location, nearby parking and good recent reviews, but we ended up moving to another hotel after the first night and forfeiting what we had paid for the next three nights. Reviews are subjective but we were surprised that the reviews differed so much from our own experience. We had a room with sea view which basically became an oven in the summer warmth (in the summer it is probably better not to have the sea view). The sun shines directly into the room during the day, heating it up a lot, and the heat remains captured like in a green house because you can only open the window a tiny bit. Even when it is fresh outside, the room stays hot the whole night, despite a very noisy fan one can plug in. We have traveled all over the world and stayed in many warm places, but in this room (which is much smaller than a normal hotel room) we felt trapped and with practically no space to move. We woke up exhausted in the morning - from the heat and the noise of the fan - and promptly decided that it was not how we wanted to spend our time in Stockholm.

Bodde på båt 2. Litet men mysigt rum med utsikt mot M/S Rygerfjord och till viss del Stockholm. Det var lite kallt på rummet men de hade satt in små element som man kunde ha på medans man var ute och kom då tillbaka till ett varmt rum. Toaletten/duschen på bottenvåningen var bra, MEN golvet var väldigt kallt! Duschen var lite liten och det tog en stund innan varmvattnet kom igång. Extra toaletterna på våning 1 var väldigt små, så det var svårt att röra sig därinne. Frukosten var helt god om än något dyr sett till utbudet de erbjuder. Det lilla jag pratade med personalen så var de väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma. Kan tänka att detta hotell är ännu mysigare på sommaren när man kan sitta utomhus på bryggan.

Väldigt lyhört vilket gjorde det svårt att sova på natten.

I had forgotten to bring my passport with me and did not have photo ID. The lady was very helpful and accepted another form of ID plus the photo of my booking.

The only complaint i have is that when I arrived I had to sit for the reception to show up for a very long time. I was very tired and it was around 17:00 and not busy hours; quite the opposit, very calm.

Väldrig prisvärt hotel för en kortare vistelse. Då man mest är ute på stan funkar detta bra. Visa personal var inte så servis inriktad och ville helst inte hjälpa en, men den andra vad riktigt trevliga och fanns till hjälp. Dammsugande tidigt på morgonen och väldigt dålig ljudisolering så man hörde nästan allt.

Jätte nöjd, trevlig personal, rent och fräscht vilet är 10/10 från mig, bra läge, väldigt prisvärt. Sköna sängar. Vi åt ingen frukost pga tidsbrist men den såg väldigt fräsch och fin ut.

Ett billigt boendevid Mälarstranden. Receptionen och den egna baren öppen hela dygnet. Det rum jag hade var litet men rent och fräscht. Den gemensamma duschen och toaletten alldeles intill ren och fräsch. Frukosten helt OK, det enda som saknades var äggröra och bacon och den kostade 120 kr. Till Stockholms Central och city knappt 2 km

Loved the stay! Super close to Gamla Stan ( - 10 min walk) and the surroundings are lovely.

Great location & beautiful view!

Loved the location, easy to access all the sights we wanted to see. It is an old ship and so rooms are small but comfortable. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced.

Ich habe mich sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Ich hatte ein Einzelzimmer mit Meerblick. Es war traumhaft durch die Fenster hatte ich eine wunderschöne Aussicht! Das Frühstück war auch sehr lecker, besonders hervorzuheben ist die Oat Milk. Ich komme gerne wieder! Sehr zentral gelegen.

Location

Staying on an old boat was pretty cool. Easy to walk to the main sites and the metro/bus stops. Great view at night.

I oddly really loved this hahaha. It was a cheap stay and the room was a bit hot but it was something different and the food was fantastic.

Toppenbra läge, bra frukost, parkering precis utanför, supermysigt läge. Minuspoäng på att man vaknade varje gång någon spolade i toaletten då den låg vägg i vägg med vår hytt och det var delat badrum.

Sejour agreable avec un personnel sympathique. Situe tout pres de la vieille ville, avec restaurant sur le pont et vue sur l'archipel. Chambre propre. Tres bon petit dejeuner buffet.

This is a great place to stay! It’s clean, friendly and the food was unexpectedly top notch! The breakfast offerings were fresh and plenty. It’s best to pre-purchase as the price goes up the day of should you wait. I had dinner there and it was delicious! The chief came out and delivered the meal to me directly which gave me an opportunity to chat with him. This was one of the best meals of my trip!

Bellissima posizione. Tutti i sevizi disponibili compreso il deposito bagagli. Buon ristorante thai interno. Se si viaggia in coppia consiglio la camera superior per avere più spazio. Colazione da aggiungere con extra buona!

View from room and balcony was amazing. Dinner for 2 nights wasbalso great and appreciated along with breakfast the last day.
