This is a beautiful property with easy access to historic gaeta and Formia. The staff and owners are very friendly and welcoming. There is a large pool for children and adults that is to be enjoyed when not able to access the beach. Breakfast offers a variety of cold and hot options along fresh fruit and locally baked goods. Rooms and bathrooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. I would highly recommend this property.

Trädgård, gångar och häckar var mycket välskötta. Egen gångtunnel under vägen för att komma ner till egen privat brygga/plattform strax ovanför vattenytan. Bekväma trappor ner till vattnet med fin vit sandstrand. Långgrunt så att det passar barn. Hotellets egen strandbar med alla tillbehör på bekvämt avstånd. Lunchrestaurang på hotellet eller en bit bort på den allmänna stranden. Närmsta kvälls-restaurang på hotellet eller 300 meter bort. Bra frukost med ägg och bacon.

Parking was ample. Pool is beautiful with shallow and deeper parts and olive trees planted in the middle. Lounge chairs were easily available in September - not the most comfortable, but they were available which is different than many resorts. The property is filled with gorgeous plants, flowers and fruit trees everywhere. Really magical! The staff is low key but very friendly. The front desk staff were fabulous to have for advice on the area, taxi reservations, dinner help and selling us bus tickets.

Posizione decentrata dal centro di Gaeta. Struttura di una bellissima villa con parco ben tenuto,l ricco di una varietà di essenze differenti. Grande piscina che nei periodi estivi sicuramente è in bel plus. Camere grandi e silenziose. Servizi igienici ben curati.

Amazing all fish dinner on a platform on the ocean, romantic and peaceful. Beautiful big yard with fruit trees and two pools. Staff was very helpful, welcoming and ready to make our stay unforgettable. Breakfast was rich and fresh. Only flaw is the rooms are a little updated, especially the bathrooms but very clean.

Purtroppo il mio giudizio positivo si limita alla pulizia, alla qualità degli asciugamani e alla bellezza della piscina. Per il resto molte note dolenti, a partire da una stanza a dir poco datata e scarna, un'insonorizzazione delle stanze completamente assente, una struttura in generale antica e triste, completamente inadatta a persone con un seppur minima difficoltà di movimento. La nota maggiormente negativa riguarda il ristorante, non degno di questo nome, con portate al limite del commestibile ed un servizio al tavolo affidato ad una persona incapace di interagire con il cliente e far fronte alle problematiche.

Ok this was not what we expected. We expected to stay in the building shown on Expedia's website (the Grand Hotel). However we were relagated to the service building which does have four units on three floors. Unfortunately (I've had this experience before when booking with Expedia) it felt like we were given the backroom on the third floor. Upon opening the window our view was dumpsters. But to be fair in the distance were lemon and orange trees and a nice view of the sea. There was also an issue with no heat. The management told us that we were there on the shoulder season so the main facilities were closed (so was the heat). Go figure. (Expedia intervened) -- They moved us to a lower unit and somehow with computerized thermostats cooked us at night. We could not easily manage the temperature in the room. The shower was so small (maybe 2.5 x 2.5 feet). Do not consider if your are larger person. You cannot bend over to wash your legs or feet. The actual town is close by. Great boardwalk and many restaurant options. But be careful traveling on shoulder seasons. Almost all museums, art centers are closed. Parking is at a distance from all buildings. Walkways are difficult with paving and suitcases.

Struttura situata in un parco con piscina e molto verde, peccato che le camere sono abbastanza vecchie e per nulla insonorizzate. Il bagno completamente da ristrutturare, con bidet vecchio stile con l'acqua che esce dai laterali privo di miscelatore ( un pó antigienico) e senza doccia ma con vasca da bagno. Peccato perché nel complesso la struttura è meravigliosa

Posizione decentrata dal centro di Gaeta. Struttura di una bellissima villa con parco ben tenuto,l ricco di una varietà di essenze differenti. Grande piscina che nei periodi estivi sicuramente è in bel plus. Camere grandi e silenziose. Servizi igienici ben curati.

Superbe séjour à l'hôtel Villa Irlanda! Les lieux, le parc et la piscine sont magnifiques. Le personnel était très sympathique et à notre disposition au besoin. Nous avons même pu bénéficier d'un surclassement. Merci pour ce séjour!

En rigtig perle i nærheden af Gaeta. Meget smuk have, dejlig pool og gode faciliteter ved havet. Som har meget rent vand og sandstrand. Personalet var rigtig søde, men Engelsk kundskaber kunne godt blive bedre, da vi oplevede flere gange at blive misforstået, særligt ved mad bestilling. Men det kunne på ingen måde ødelægge oplevelsen. Området er udpræget feriested for Italienere, så det giver også en oplevelse i sig selv.

En rigtig perle i nærheden af Gaeta. Meget smuk have, dejlig pool og gode faciliteter ved havet. Som har meget rent vand og sandstrand. We stayed one night only because we did not see many things to do around Gaeta on the internet. Yet, I wanted to be there for my birthday. It is a nice quiet town. There are some medieval buildings. Unfortunately, I programmed only one day there which I now regret. I had a great time. The hotel is nice and I like the garden of orange trees . The staff was great and very helpful, I had a problem where I took the wrong bus. I called Simona and she saved the day. Thank you very much we had a great time.

Parking was ample. Pool is beautiful with shallow and deeper parts and olive trees planted in the middle. Lounge chairs were easily available in September - not the most comfortable, but they were available which is different than many resorts. The property is filled with gorgeous plants, flowers and fruit trees everywhere. Really magical! The staff is low key but very friendly. The front desk staff were fabulous to have for advice on the area, taxi reservations, dinner help and selling us bus tickets.

Ok this was not what we expected. We expected to stay in the building shown on Expedia's website (the Grand Hotel). However we were relagated to the service building which does have four units on three floors. Unfortunately (I've had this experience before when booking with Expedia) it felt like we were given the backroom on the third floor. Upon opening the window our view was dumpsters. But to be fair in the distance were lemon and orange trees and a nice view of the sea. There was also an issue with no heat. The management told us that we were there on the shoulder season so the main facilities were closed (so was the heat). Go figure. (Expedia intervened) -- They moved us to a lower unit and somehow with computerized thermostats cooked us at night. We could not easily manage the temperature in the room. The shower was so small (maybe 2.5 x 2.5 feet). Do not consider if your are larger person. You cannot bend over to wash your legs or feet. The actual town is close by. Great boardwalk and many restaurant options. But be careful traveling on shoulder seasons. Almost all museums, art centers are closed. Parking is at a distance from all buildings. Walkways are difficult with paving and suitcases.

Amazing all fish dinner on a platform on the ocean, romantic and peaceful. Beautiful big yard with fruit trees and two pools. Staff was very helpful, welcoming and ready to make our stay unforgettable. Breakfast was rich and fresh. Only flaw is the rooms are a little updated, especially the bathrooms but very clean.

Purtroppo il mio giudizio positivo si limita alla pulizia, alla qualità degli asciugamani e alla bellezza della piscina. Per il resto molte note dolenti, a partire da una stanza a dir poco datata e scarna, un'insonorizzazione delle stanze completamente assente, una struttura in generale antica e triste, completamente inadatta a persone con un seppur minima difficoltà di movimento. La nota maggiormente negativa riguarda il ristorante, non degno di questo nome, con portate al limite del commestibile ed un servizio al tavolo affidato ad una persona incapace di interagire con il cliente e far fronte alle problematiche.

The hotel grounds were absolutely beautiful - a typical Italian villa with amazing lush trees and plants. Excellent breakfast selection each day. Really recommend the restaurant by the sea - the food was outstanding and staff incredibly friendly. Prices are very reasonable. We had to change our room when we first got there because it was dark and a bit cramped for a suite. Our second suite though was amazing. Recommend the suite on 2 levels. Beautiful clean and well maintained pool. I loved the fact you could sit by the sea on a pontoon on loungers and go for a swim without getting sandy. One tip - when you there, request your bags to be taken to the room. If you don’t ask they’ll let you drag them there yourself and it’s quite a walk. When we clicked on to this the service was good. Overall would definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel with lovely grounds. The garden full of lemon and orange trees. Pool was lovely too, Rosario who looked after everything at the pool was a delight, nothing too much trouble. Unfortunately the rest of the staff weren't particularly friendly which was a shame, especially at breakfast. Overall though we had a great time at this lovely hotel.
