Super hyggelig sted. Virkelig vakkert overalt. De har selfservice vin og bar. Kan handle snacks ved bassenget og inne i hovedhuset. Kjempe god middag og en kort spasertur til en vingård. Vi slappet av ved bassenget. Trimrommet er en mølle og en sykkel. Ikke noe annet. Kjempe bra AC og seng. Enkelt å parkere ved hotellet. Super fin kjøretur dit. De som jobbet der var kjempe positive og tok oss godt imot.

A lovely retreat - quiet and serene. The grounds of the villa are amazing and all of the staff are lovely. Panzano is a short and scenic 20 minute walk away. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Villa Le Barone was amazing. Everything was beautiful and well kept. The whole property was so amazing and had a fantastic view of the surrounding Tuscany landscape. Our room was charming, clean, and comfortable. The pool and restaurant were all amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Chianti.

Villa Le Barone is an amazing property in the heart of Tuscany. My girlfriend and I spent 4 nights in early August at Barone, and it was amazing from the moment we pulled through the century old gates which greet you upon arrival to the villa. While the villa dates back sometime, it has all of the modern day amenities including; air conditioning, infinity pool, wine room, etc. We enjoyed two amazing dinners on site, which includes an appetizer buffet each evening. The wait staff are extremely hospitable and knowledgeable of the food and wine. We ate on the outdoor patio both evenings and it was incredible both times. Thanks to the Chef! Breakfast in the morning, also incredible and plentiful. We had the opportunity to meet the owners during our stay, who were kind enough to let us pick a few tomatoes from their garden. In addition, we met their daughter and son-in-law, who were married in the nearby town. Nice to share a conversation with them. All of the staff were wonderful. Thanks to all of the housekeepers, especially whomever helped to remove the stain from my girlfriend's white pants. If you're look for breathe taking views of Tuscany, quiet surroundings, and an escape to what feels like a movie scene... This is it. Thanks for a lovely stay, we will return. Best, Ken

A truly magnificent villa located in the middle of the scenic Tuscany countryside. Food and service was great and the room was very clean and neat. We met the owner and he gave us a bottle of wine at the dinner. The pool was heated and at a great location. We had our own car and could easily explore all the vineyards in the area! The honor bar system is convenient and you can just pour as much wine as you like 24/7! The only complaints would be that the dinner menu is fixed (and at a fixed price) and the beds are a bit hard. But all in all, we had a very relaxing stay and will be happy to come back again.

Villa Le Barone is an amazing property in the heart of Tuscany. My girlfriend and I spent 4 nights in early August at Barone, and it was amazing from the moment we pulled through the century old gates which greet you upon arrival to the villa. While the villa dates back sometime, it has all of the modern day amenities including; air conditioning, infinity pool, wine room, etc. We enjoyed two amazing dinners on site, which includes an appetizer buffet each evening. The wait staff are extremely hospitable and knowledgeable of the food and wine. We ate on the outdoor patio both evenings and it was incredible both times. Thanks to the Chef! Breakfast in the morning, also incredible and plentiful. We had the opportunity to meet the owners during our stay, who were kind enough to let us pick a few tomatoes from their garden. In addition, we met their daughter and son-in-law, who were married in the nearby town. Nice to share a conversation with them. All of the staff were wonderful. Thanks to all of the housekeepers, especially whomever helped to remove the stain from my girlfriend's white pants. A truly magnificent villa located in the middle of the scenic Tuscany countryside. Food and service was great and the room was very clean and neat. We met the owner and he gave us a bottle of wine at the dinner. The pool was heated and at a great location. We had our own car and could easily explore all the vineyards in the area! The honor bar system is convenient and you can just pour as much wine as you like 24/7! The only complaints would be that the dinner menu is fixed (and at a fixed price) and the beds are a bit hard. But all in all, we had a very relaxing stay and will be happy to come back again.

The pool area is great specially for the terrific view. If you want to have fun and the same time to enjoy the beauty of this area and relax with not TV in the room, this will be a fantastic option. Villa Le Barone is an incredibly beautiful and unique Property. I was a solo traveler and had the most enjoyable time with the family who owns the Villa and met so many interesting people. It is truly a feeling like you are home. I met many people who have been coming here for -( years and come back every year. The breakfast is incredible, the best cafe latte ever. Definitely dine with them for dinner or lunch. It’s wonderful to read a book by the refreshing pool (and it was hot out) and just walk up to have lunch in the gorgeous garden. The owners Jacqueline & Corso are wonderful humans and they were so friendly to invite me to dinner with them, as they saw me dining alone. Truly enjoyed every minute here.

A lovely retreat - quiet and serene. The grounds of the villa are amazing and all of the staff are lovely. Panzano is a short and scenic 20 minute walk away. We wish we could have stayed longer!

We had an amazing and relaxing stay, it was the highlight of our trip! The views were spectacular. A very unique experience with amazing staff and food as well as a great wine selection. Dinner on sight was delicious. The town Panzano near by was quiet but had lots of restaurants and a quaint feel to it. Also check out the winery close by that is recommended by the hotel. Note: the area is accessible by bus from Florence but we would recommend a car as you can check out the sights a lot easier.

While the villa dates back sometime, it has all of the modern day amenities including; air conditioning, infinity pool, wine room, etc. We enjoyed two amazing dinners on site, which includes an appetizer buffet each evening. The wait staff are extremely hospitable and knowledgeable of the food and wine. We ate on the outdoor patio both evenings and it was incredible both times. Thanks to the Chef! Breakfast in the morning, also incredible and plentiful. We had the opportunity to meet the owners during our stay, who were kind enough to let us pick a few tomatoes from their garden. In addition, we met their daughter and son-in-law, who were married in the nearby town. Nice to share a conversation with them. All of the staff were wonderful. Thanks to all of the housekeepers, especially whomever helped to remove the stain from my girlfriend's white pants. If you're look for breathe taking views of Tuscany, quiet surroundings, and an escape to what feels like a movie scene... This is it. Thanks for a lovely stay, we will return. Best, Ken

A truly magnificent villa located in the middle of the scenic Tuscany countryside. Food and service was great and the room was very clean and neat. We met the owner and he gave us a bottle of wine at the dinner. The pool was heated and at a great location. We had our own car and could easily explore all the vineyards in the area! The honor bar system is convenient and you can just pour as much wine as you like 24/7! The only complaints would be that the dinner menu is fixed (and at a fixed price) and the beds are a bit hard. But all in all, we had a very relaxing stay and will be happy to come back again.

Villa Barone är ett utmärkt alternativ att ha som utgångspunkt för utflykter i Chianti. Mycket trevlig atmosfär där lugn och ro prioriteras och ett värdpar som bryr sig om sina gäster. Förutom väldigt fin frukost så är det även värt att äta minst en middag på uteterassen

The grounds are meticulously maintained, with fragrant gardens, shaded terraces, and plenty of spots to sit and soak in the scenery. Villa Le Barone is an incredibly beautiful and unique Property. I was a solo traveler and had the most enjoyable time with the family who owns the Villa and met so many interesting people. It is truly a feeling like you are home. I met many people who have been coming here for -( years and come back every year. The breakfast is incredible, the best cafe latte ever. Definitely dine with them for dinner or lunch. It’s wonderful to read a book by the refreshing pool (and it was hot out) and just walk up to have lunch in the gorgeous garden. The owners Jacqueline & Corso are wonderful humans and they were so friendly to invite me to dinner with them, as they saw me dining alone. Truly enjoyed every minute here.

We had an amazing and relaxing stay, it was the highlight of our trip! The views were spectacular. A very unique experience with amazing staff and food as well as a great wine selection. Dinner on sight was delicious. The town Panzano near by was quiet but had lots of restaurants and a quaint feel to it. Also check out the winery close by that is recommended by the hotel. Note: the area is accessible by bus from Florence but we would recommend a car as you can check out the sights a lot easier.

We had a wonderful stay here! The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The location was perfect, and we especially loved the self-service beverage area — such a thoughtful and convenient touch. The owner was super friendly and took the time to come over and talk with us. He was a perfect gentleman and made us feel genuinely welcome. Our only regret is that we could stay for just one night\! We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended.

Känslan i sin helhet är att hotellet ”utnyttjar” att kunderna har betalat mycket för att bo där, och således mjölkar ut så mycket de kan. Tillexempel tar hotellet 4,5 euro för en läsk från self service bar, vilket kan jämföras med restauranger som tar 3 euro. Samma med en glass (4,5 euro, kostar 0,9 i butik). Hotellet tar dessutom en fast avgift om 50 euro för en middag, utan dryck. Sett till området är detta dyrt. Vidare var wifi:et väldigt dåligt. Slutligen kan det noteras att varken frukost eller middag serveras från den vackra innergården. Detta serveras från den tråkigare inhänganden vid parkeringen. Rummen är små, sängarna hårda. First let me list the things I loved about the property. The staff is wonderful. They were quick to accommodate requests, were friendly, and kind. The food on the property was delicious. The pool was outstanding, overlooking the Tuscan vineyards. All wonderful. There are drinks and snacks available in various locations on the property, using an honor system to record purchases. There's also a wine dispenser, and the staff provides each guest with a "credit card" for wine purchases. I was disappointed in our apartment. I was unaware that the property was so spread out, with various rooms in different buildings. Our apartment was a distance from the main lodge, and is also more of an air BNB than a hotel. I was expecting hotel service, and that is not what we had. I was expecting our rooms to be cleaned daily, and they weren't cleaned once in our five night stay. We had to go get toilet paper from the main lodge, and ask for towels. Although the rooms in our apartment were spacious, the beds were uncomfortable. The showers in both bathrooms had clogged drains and flooded the floors. The staff did remedy the problem right away. There was no coffee pot available in the apartment-my biggest disappointment. The property as a whole is in a lovely location, and has been family owned for generations. The owner goes out of his way to welcome guests. There are definitely more good things than bad at this property, I'm just not sure I would qualify this as a four star property.
