Private 5 Acre Whidbey Island Cabin - Schriftsteller Retreat

If you're looking for a homebase on Whidbey Island that feels like secluded oasis surrounded by nature, but that allows access to the multiple adorable island towns, look no further. I wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and take time for myself to just... be, and thats exactly what I got here. And then when I got a bit antsy and needed some adventure, I was able to shoot into town(s!) to do some shopping, eating, sightseeing, hiking, etc. Corinne is an amazing host who made me feel well cared for and welcomed. She's super organized and responsive in her communication with guests, and has set this place up anticipating the needs of short and long term guests alike. I highly recommend and hope to go back soon!

This is our second time staying at the cabin and we loved it again! Such a wonderful quiet location, yet central to everything that Whidbey has to offer. Thank you for another lovely stay.

We were impressed by this charming cottage in the woods but close to bigger towns on the island. The cottage is tastefully furnished and decorated and has every convenience.

The cabin was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Tucked away in the forest, yet close to all the great beaches, walks and places to visit on Whidbey. My wife and I felt very relaxed and rejuvenated after our peaceful stay. Will definitely be coming back!
