Fantastic place to stay outside of the hussle and bustle of Sorrento. Free shuttle bus to town every hour was priceless. Good breakfast options but was busy if you weren’t there early.

Well my stay started off great. I booked One night and was upgraded to an ocean view suite. I decided to book a second night and was then downgraded. Not so great. Since I was travelling with my daughter and granddaughter it was very inconvenient to have to change room . Hotel is very Nice and full of history. The things to be aware of it is not mobility friendly many stairs and not easy with a stroller either. The hotel is not kiddie friendly at all. The POOL closes at 6!!! Which is ridiculously early ! Service wise I would say most are pleasant but communication seems to be N issue I requested a rollaway bed and was not advised of an extra charge. When it was added to my bill I had to really go at it with the front desk staff. The manager finally credited me for the charges. I would say the most pleasant staff member is Elaria at the front desk. She is very kind and attentive. Also a bartender who is a doll . Didn’t catch his name tho. As far as the food service … the breakfast is very good. The restaurant for dinner not so much. The pasta we had was terrible. Overcooked and no flavour. We ordered the set menu at $30 euro and were deeply disappointed. So all in all a 6/10 for me. Things to be aware of .. extra charges, lots of different stairs, food very blah …

By far the nicest hotel we stayed at on our Italy vacation. The place was super clean. The front desk was excellent. Thank you Marta for all the advice! The room was spacious with a separate area for a child to sleep. It's a old historic hotel. We didn't know when booking that just up the hill behind the hotel was an entire community full of fun shops and restaurants that come alive in the evening. The hotel offers a shuttle from the town of Sorrento which was a huge plus. They will take you to the train station as well. The pool was awesome and the views from our room were really special. Some really wonderful restaurants can be found within walking distance and are a must see. Try Lo Stuzzichino restaurant and a boat cruise of the Amalfi coast.

We booked 5 nights in a bautiful sea view room with a fairly large balcony. Breakfast was lovely, although the hot food did dry up quickly especially the scrambled eggs. Dinner one night and it was nice. The staff were amazing, each of the restaurant staff were very very attentive. The area of SantAgata didnt actually suit us for the 5 nights as we had to shuttle down to Sorrento each day or evening. Not much in the SantAgata area to see or do but the few restaurants they have were great! Our choice to cut out stay short by 2 nights of the 5 night stay. The shuttle service was great to have though. Nice pool area and pool staff and reception staff we could not fault. Each of them went out of their way to help. One thing I'd mention is getting to the shuttle bus from Sorrento train station......it wasnt easy and we ended up on the municipal bus. Wasnt to awful in the end we got there. Thanks to Marco for his patience with me and the directions!

Beautiful and relaxing pool and view. They had cold water in their lobby and gave us a free reusable bottle upon check-in which was very helpful in the hot summer heat. Everything was very expensive but service was great and amenities couldn’t be beat. Our room was clean and very retro style. However the surrounding area is not walkable as this hotel is on a hill. If you want to get down to Sorrento you have to call a taxi or take the hotel’s free shuttle, which was very convenient.

We searched hotels for a few weeks before booking the Jaccarino. We must have looked at 40-50 hotels in the region before settling on this one and, after our week long visit, we were glad we did! The staff are superb, friendly and efficient while not being intrusive. The main areas, pool, bar and restaurants are all very nice places to be. The bed was comfortable and super clean each day. The WiFi was fast and the food and drink were both reasonably priced and very tasty! There are a number of great restaurants within a short (and mostly flat) walk and the free shuttle bus to Sorrento was clean, reliable and well driven. The whole place has an authentic 'Italian family' atmosphere (it is NOT a faceless corporate chain hotel) and the personal touch of the staff made us feel very welcome. Would we stay again and / or recommend to family and friends? Absolutely 'yes'! Oh, and one last thing, the view from the terrace, pool and some of the rooms is simply breathtaking!

The property is very nice and the view is worth seeing. Short walk into the village which has some fantastic restaurants and several times a day shuttle service to Sorrento. I wasn’t planning to stay there when I booked it because I thought the hotel was on Capri but I can’t complain about this mistake.

Nice convenient location, only two minutes walk to a little village with good restaurants, grocery stores and small shops. Shuttle bus to Sorrento few times daily. Average quality breakfast. The hotel grounds are very beautiful and well taken care of. Our room was also clean and spacious. We came in a car, but also took advantage of their shuttle service to Sorrento one evening, which was easy and convenient. We really enjoyed breakfast selection at this hotel as well as the options for lunch and dinner. There’s also a cute little town a short walk from the premises where you can get some groceries and souvenirs. If we ever come back to this beautiful region in the future, we would be happy to stay at Hotel Jaccarino again.

I definitely recommend upgrading to a seaview room, the view is breathtaking. The hotel is clean and pool is fantastic. There is a 10 min. walk to a local village, which is lovely and quaint. Alot of tourist meet up at the restuarants there. The shuttle service from the hotel is extremely helpful to go to town or other locations. I would suggest taking the tours suggested in the Hotel. Overall, I will definitely be coming back. Thank You Hotel Jaccarino

Property was clean, had a shuttle to town but we never used it due to time we needed was to early. We did however use public transportation that was right outside the hotel. Was very cheap. And we saved money by not having to get taxis. Rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast was great. Variety of options. Eggs, pancakes, different fruit. Over all was a great stay. Close to restaurants and stores

The room was spacious with a separate area for a child to sleep. It's a old historic hotel. We didn't know when booking that just up the hill behind the hotel was an entire community full of fun shops and restaurants that come alive in the evening. We booked 5 nights in a bautiful sea view room with a fairly large balcony. Breakfast was lovely, although the hot food did dry up quickly especially the scrambled eggs. Dinner one night and it was nice. The staff were amazing, each of the restaurant staff were very very attentive. The area of SantAgata didnt actually suit us for the 5 nights as we had to shuttle down to Sorrento each day or evening. Not much in the SantAgata area to see or do but the few restaurants they have were great! Our choice to cut out stay short by 2 nights of the 5 night stay. The shuttle service was great to have though. Nice pool area and pool staff and reception staff we could not fault. Each of them went out of their way to help. One thing I'd mention is getting to the shuttle bus from Sorrento train station......it wasnt easy and we ended up on the municipal bus. Wasnt to awful in the end we got there. Thanks to Marco for his patience with me and the directions!

I definitely recommend upgrading to a seaview room, the view is breathtaking. The hotel is clean and pool is fantastic. There is a 10 min. walk to a local village, which is lovely and quaint. Alot of tourist meet up at the restuarants there. The shuttle service from the hotel is extremely helpful to go to town or other locations. I would suggest taking the tours suggested in the Hotel. A super nice stay at hotel Jaccarino. The pool area with its view was very nice and the rooms with the AC was good. The little town Sant Agatha was just at the back of the hotel where it was a few different restaurants, gelaterias and shops, and also the bus stop with busses that takes you around easily. The area around the hotel is very steep so would recommend going with bus/car when going somewhere. There was a bus stop not far from the hotel that could that you to different beaches etc.

Beautiful and relaxing pool and view. They had cold water in their lobby and gave us a free reusable bottle upon check-in which was very helpful in the hot summer heat. Everything was very expensive but service was great and amenities couldn’t be beat. Our room was clean and very retro style. However the surrounding area is not walkable as this hotel is on a hill. If you want to get down to Sorrento you have to call a taxi or take the hotel’s free shuttle, which was very convenient.

We like the Jaccarino as the view of the bay of Sorrento and Mount Vesuvius is the best and the staff are helpful. It backs on to a lovely Italian village (St Ágata) where you can eat in friendly restaurants. The only negatives are no kettle in the room (so we take one with us)

Would have given higher rating but bed and pillows were hard. Free bus to sorrento was a bonus. Reception, Bar, terrace and cleaning staff very friendly. Would definitely stay again. Just had an absolutely amazing week at this beautiful hotel. All the staff were so helpful & polite. They have a shuttle bus to take you down to Sorrento if you want to go or you can walk into St Agata in less than five minutes where there are plenty of shops & restaurants. Food at the hotel was very good with lots of options for breakfast & evening meal. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone & we definitely intend to return in the future.

Well my stay started off great. I booked One night and was upgraded to an ocean view suite. I decided to book a second night and was then downgraded. Not so great. Since I was travelling with my daughter and granddaughter it was very inconvenient to have to change room . Hotel is very Nice and full of history. The things to be aware of it is not mobility friendly many stairs and not easy with a stroller either. The hotel is not kiddie friendly at all. The POOL closes at 6!!! Which is ridiculously early ! Service wise I would say most are pleasant but communication seems to be N issue I requested a rollaway bed and was not advised of an extra charge. When it was added to my bill I had to really go at it with the front desk staff. The manager finally credited me for the charges. I would say the most pleasant staff member is Elaria at the front desk. She is very kind and attentive. Also a bartender who is a doll . Didn’t catch his name tho. As far as the food service … the breakfast is very good. The restaurant for dinner not so much. The pasta we had was terrible. Overcooked and no flavour. We ordered the set menu at $30 euro and were deeply disappointed. So all in all a 6/10 for me. Things to be aware of .. extra charges, lots of different stairs, food very blah …

We searched hotels for a few weeks before booking the Jaccarino. We must have looked at 40-50 hotels in the region before settling on this one and, after our week long visit, we were glad we did! The staff are superb, friendly and efficient while not being intrusive. The main areas, pool, bar and restaurants are all very nice places to be. The bed was comfortable and super clean each day. The WiFi was fast and the food and drink were both reasonably priced and very tasty! There are a number of great restaurants within a short (and mostly flat) walk and the free shuttle bus to Sorrento was clean, reliable and well driven. The whole place has an authentic 'Italian family' atmosphere (it is NOT a faceless corporate chain hotel) and the personal touch of the staff made us feel very welcome. Would we stay again and / or recommend to family and friends? Absolutely 'yes'! Oh, and one last thing, the view from the terrace, pool and some of the rooms is simply breathtaking!

Hotel Jaccarino exceeded all of our expectations. The staff were absolutely amazing and felt like family from the get go. Thank you so much for the amazing service, friendly attitudes, and making us feel so welcome. Special mention to the waitstaff in the restaurant at breakfast and dinner time, they were so lovely and we hated saying goodbye when we left! We will definitely be back!

The property is very nice and the view is worth seeing. Short walk into the village which has some fantastic restaurants and several times a day shuttle service to Sorrento. I wasn’t planning to stay there when I booked it because I thought the hotel was on Capri but I can’t complain about this mistake.

The hotel grounds are very beautiful and well taken care of. Our room was also clean and spacious. We came in a car, but also took advantage of their shuttle service to Sorrento one evening, which was easy and convenient. We really enjoyed breakfast selection at this hotel as well as the options for lunch and dinner. There’s also a cute little town a short walk from the premises where you can get some groceries and souvenirs. If we ever come back to this beautiful region in the future, we would be happy to stay at Hotel Jaccarino again.

Food at the hotel was very good with lots of options for breakfast & evening meal. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone & we definitely intend to return in the future.

Well my stay started off great. I booked One night and was upgraded to an ocean view suite. I decided to book a second night and was then downgraded. Not so great. Since I was travelling with my daughter and granddaughter it was very inconvenient to have to change room . Hotel is very Nice and full of history. The things to be aware of it is not mobility friendly many stairs and not easy with a stroller either. The hotel is not kiddie friendly at all. The POOL closes at 6!!! Which is ridiculously early ! Service wise I would say most are pleasant but communication seems to be N issue I requested a rollaway bed and was not advised of an extra charge. When it was added to my bill I had to really go at it with the front desk staff. The manager finally credited me for the charges. I would say the most pleasant staff member is Elaria at the front desk. She is very kind and attentive. Also a bartender who is a doll . Didn’t catch his name tho. As far as the food service … the breakfast is very good. The restaurant for dinner not so much. The pasta we had was terrible. Overcooked and no flavour. We ordered the set menu at $30 euro and were deeply disappointed. So all in all a 6/10 for me. Things to be aware of .. extra charges, lots of different stairs, food very blah …

We booked 5 nights in a bautiful sea view room with a fairly large balcony. Breakfast was lovely, although the hot food did dry up quickly especially the scrambled eggs. Dinner one night and it was nice. The staff were amazing, each of the restaurant staff were very very attentive. The area of SantAgata didnt actually suit us for the 5 nights as we had to shuttle down to Sorrento each day or evening. Not much in the SantAgata area to see or do but the few restaurants they have were great! Our choice to cut out stay short by 2 nights of the 5 night stay. The shuttle service was great to have though. Nice pool area and pool staff and reception staff we could not fault. Each of them went out of their way to help. One thing I'd mention is getting to the shuttle bus from Sorrento train station......it wasnt easy and we ended up on the municipal bus. Wasnt to awful in the end we got there. Thanks to Marco for his patience with me and the directions!

Vi havde et virkelig dejligt ophold! Personalet er fantastisk søde og service-mindede og udsigten over bugten til Versuv fra pool og restauranter er fantastisk. Der er en rolig stemning med både unge og gamle gæster og man slapper af og nyder hvert øjeblik. Aftenmenuen var god - dog ikke lige så fantastisk som udsigten og personalet, men så kan man få et skøn middag i den lille hyggelige by bag hotellet i 3 min gåafstand, hvor man blandt andet finder et hyggeligt pizzaria (Da Mimi) med mulighed spisning på stedet (og mange andre skønne retter end pizza) og take-away pizza som kan nydes i baggården på hotellet - og også en Michelin 2021 restaurant (Lo Stuzichinno) med både skøn mad og stemning. Det er også nemt at tage hotellets bus ned til sorrento hvor der også er gode restauranter og en spektakulær strandpromenade med byen oppe på høje klipper (kan nås både med elevator og til fods). Der var også nemt at bestille ture til Amalfi og Capri fra hotellet. Fremragende 10 dage! Eneste minus er at vi som familie på fire godt kunne have ønsket at man kunne få to værelser forbundet med dør eller et familieværelse med to rum og så skal man bestille tidligt for at få værelse med havudsigt (dog havde det også sin charme at kunne se ud over byen).

We searched hotels for a few weeks before booking the Jaccarino. We must have looked at 40-50 hotels in the region before settling on this one and, after our week long visit, we were glad we did! The staff are superb, friendly and efficient while not being intrusive. The main areas, pool, bar and restaurants are all very nice places to be. The bed was comfortable and super clean each day. The WiFi was fast and the food and drink were both reasonably priced and very tasty! There are a number of great restaurants within a short (and mostly flat) walk and the free shuttle bus to Sorrento was clean, reliable and well driven. The whole place has an authentic 'Italian family' atmosphere (it is NOT a faceless corporate chain hotel) and the personal touch of the staff made us feel very welcome. Would we stay again and / or recommend to family and friends? Absolutely 'yes'! Oh, and one last thing, the view from the terrace, pool and some of the rooms is simply breathtaking!

Large old hotel with beautiful grounds. Plenty different areas inside and out to sit around to read or chat with friends. Nice convenient location, only two minutes walk to a little village with good restaurants, grocery stores and small shops. Shuttle bus to Sorrento few times daily. Average quality breakfast. Wonderful views from our balcony of Sorrento and nearness to to slant Agatha. Plus we loved the hotel itself. It had all the amenities. Great breakfast and very well kept. Very stylish in a classic style that we love.
